For the price it was a decent stay, comfortable bed, convenient outside door access from room with little ones. However the bugs simular to a fruit fly but not a fruit fly infestation that seem to be coming up the sink drain and overflow hole of sink, dated decor and a bathroom in need desperate remodel. Hotel does not to me, meet the Ramada brand/standards or expectation.

We were in Vancouver on business and stayed for 2 nights. We arrived early afternoon but were able to check in. No problem our room was ready. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were great and we were able to strike up conversations with them. If you are going to eat at the restaurant you better bring your appetite! The food was awesome and arrived fast and hot. We do business in Vancouver a lot. We got to the coliseum in about 20 minutes in Friday afternoon traffic! This is our new go to place when we are in Van. Great rooms, great price, and great staff! Stay here!

Had a great stay at this hotel. My wife and I loved it. Clean, Happy Employees, Comfortable Bed, Great Breakfast!

Staff friendly and helpful. However the rooms were not clean nor well kept. The highway noise was constant. It's a Ramada by label only.

Staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The room was formatted strange. Sink on the outside but still had a little shelf/counter in the bathroom? Water taps in the shower were not easily maneuverable and took a few tries to turn off. If the TV was mounted two inches higher off the cabinet the remote would have worked a bit better. Exercise room was minimal-free weights would have been perfect and didn't seem like it had the best ventilation. Over all decent for its age.

Disgraceful place. Would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Unclean and from all the reviews below, it seems to be a lot of repeated issues and the management has only one standard apology. Drive a little further (15 min) into Burnaby and there will be better hotels. The management in this Ramada appear to have just given up. Too bad I can't write a review with ZERO stars.

I am very unhappy with my experience here. I found hair on the sheets and the duvet has lipstick and gravy stains. When I complained, the front desk the manager came to my room and handed me some sheets for me to change. After a 10 hour drive it is simply dissappointing to have to change my own sheets at a hotel. There have been so many bad reviews but the management hasn't done anything to rectify things.

The room was very smelly… the housekeeper ended up telling me that our room and the 2 beside ours were known to be really smelly as they had previously experienced water leakage. Not great for someone with asthma! Also the buffet was days old food. Milk was curdled and table cloth was filthy, "not changed once during our stay" After speaking with the manager about our experience, he politely rang up my full bill and said he would pass on my concerns. not recommended.

All the rumours seem to be true of this place, wasn't very clean, noisy but they had very friendly staff. You get what you pay for, I completely forgot about airbnb and ended up here. I believe the TV works on Wi-Fi so channels would lose connection. I wouldn't stay here again (also very firm beds).

2-star hotel is being generous. Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any industry, right from the front desk up to the general manager. We accidentally booked the non-refundable room for $105, thinking it was the discounted rate for Wyndham members. Our plans then changed and when attempting to cancel we were told there would be no refund. We then called back to see if we could at least change the date of the reservation, then the lady at the front desk said no and abruptly hung up on me. I then called Wyndham rewards customer service and another nearby Ramada to see what they thought and both said that the hotel absolutely has the ability to give a ‘courtesy cancellation’ if the general manager approves it. The general manager never ended up talking to me and instead told his front desk that if anyone called about that reservation to say no. It was a cheap room but next time I will definitely pay the premium to stay anywhere else! Hope the $105 deposit was worth a lifetime of losses to the competition. After looking at other reviews on here about poor service and cleanliness of the hotel, perhaps I should just be thankful that we won’t be staying there! I encourage everyone else to look elsewhere when booking in Coquitlam, this kind of pettiness shouldn’t be supported.

Decent, but the rooms are overpriced, snd they make no effort to control noisy and unruly guests. Could be four stars if they had the right management. Has a decent restaurant inside as well, which is s plus.

This is an OK hotel for a short stay. Not a 5 star hotel, nor do they claim to be 5 star. This is a 3 star hotel that is clean, with friendly staff. Our room offered a large refrigerator and a microwave, which was great for the four of us. This is an OK hotel that is showing its age. There is a large mall nearby as well as restaurants and other shops within driving distance. Highway 1 is easy to reach.

We stayed there for 2 weeks. Room was pathetic… the bath tub got clogged and wash basin leaks… ac was not working in our room… requested the on duty manager to change our room or at least solve these basic issues, but he was so rude and nothing was done for around 12 days… before we were about to leave in a day or two that bath tub issue was fixed… miserable condition of the room 252 if I remember… pleased fix these issues of 252 room so that next customer don’t give such a review…

Not happy with the accessibility of this place. My room is on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator which sucked for me having to load my luggage on my own. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel causes congestion in the small parking area out front so it can be tough to find a close spot to park. There are no balconies so if you are a smoker you have to leave the hotel. There is a sundeck on the 2nd floor that they keep locked because people were smoking there. Duh. No one wants to leave the hotel and go outside and find a place to smoke. The hotel needs renovations and doesn't feel very clean. I can tell that the comforters were not changed, just the sheets. It's out dated, and no one around here is very friendly. The older dude checking me in was mocking the woman ahead of me for "asking too many questions" (I would have asked all the same q's had I not just overheard the answers). It's good enough for a night's stay but avoid it if staying longer.

Tragic place. Would never recommend. Room smelled bad. Sheets wernt clean on both beds, had human hairs in them still. Looked like semen stains all over the curtains. Bathroom wasn't even painted and had large patch spots on the walls. Bath mat had yellow stains all over it. If your taller them 5"8 your not having a great shower. Shower tub wasn't cleaned. Shower tub was clogged. As you had the shower water poured put of the faucet and shower head at the same time so you stood in 6 inches of cold water while trying to bend over to wash yourself with the crappy shower head that couldn't hold a good temperature. Basically slept on top of the covers and left asap.

Absolutely sucked. Shower parts falling off, air conditioner useless. Would have been more comfortable to sleep in the parking lot. We left after only 3.5 hours because we felt it was an insult to stay and put up with such poor conditions. No way we will ever stay there again. If they still charge us it will be really disgusting.

Mid priced and mid featured. The decor is a bit dark and dated, definitely due for a refresh. Rusted fittings, peeling paint and light fittings full of cobwebs aren't very welcoming.

Very uncomfortable mattress.

We were there for a paint nite. The service was great, very friendly and personable, but the food seemed lacking. It was a cheap cur of beef for the steak, and the potatoes were dry.

Rooms are not clean. Wi-Fi was unusable. Refrigerator in kitchen didn't work. ATM couldn't complete transaction. No breakfast provided. On the other hand, location is central to Coquitlam and price is competitive.

A couple left the hotel when I arrived due to bedbugs. They showed me the pictures, and it was clear there was a problem. I checked my room throughly and found none. I did find chips, food, and rocks in the sheets and mattress. The floor was extremely dirty. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. There was a noticeable bad smell. You could hear the highway right outside almost perfectly. They have reviews saying they are trying to fix it, but these were months ago and the issues are only worse. Stay clear of this place.

Here for work. Dealing with all the staff here is great. Very helpful and always friendly.

We stayed 5 nights last week. When we arrived around 10pm after a long drive at the first day, there was a older guy with ball-head in front desk, he looks like originally came from southeast of Asia and he spoke English was not clear enough, obviously he was NOT friendly and happy to serve us. After my wife checked in with her Alberta GOV ID and got the room cards for 409, she tried to open the door a few times but failed, that guy came and complained: I had already told you followed me, my wife said there was another person behind her, she didn't know whom is this guy talking to. After we entered the room and found the window cannot be locked, my wife asked this old guy: is there any way to fix this problem because the security issues (someone can break into our room easily from window and also we have a 4 year old boy and easily to fall out from the window if he plays around there. This old guy said there was no way to solve the problem, no other room available and his shift will be ended at 11pm. He wanted us to ask next shift worker to solve it. All of us were so tired and got sleep quickly even though we didn't feel safe enough in the room. The next day morning we went to the frond desk and asked James who worked there then and he just gave us a stick to help to lock the window and fixed the issue very easily. It only took 2 minutes. We cannot really understand why it is so hard to make us feel better last evening.

The bathtub was scratched and beat-up looking, the room was clean but had a worn look that could have benefited from a bit of paint and some new furniture. However, the pool was heated and the staff was friendly. A little refurbishment could make this place worth five stars.

For its price, better deals can be found. Parking is free, pool is decent, staff are friendly, room is clean however not updated, Wi-Fi is "free" but virtually impossible to connect.

Bed was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are dated and weirdly laid out. Overall was a good night. Not loud.

Staff were really nice — decent sized room (got a king bed suite). Bed was fairly comfortable. Stayed on May long weekend on the Sunday and Monday night so it was a bit noisy on Sunday night. Room could've been cleaned a little bit better but just minor details. Wifi worked fine — we were able to stream Netflix.

I was a guest at the Ramada in Coquitlam. 631 Lougheed Hwy. The rooms were ok. The staff was not very helpful or friendly.

Coquitlam. Clean room, fridge wasnt very cold, a/c unit kept turning off.

Planned to stay two nights with family, changed that to one night as the noise from truckers kept disturbing sleep. People check on at 4 AM and are talking loud and drinking. This goes on for over an hour. I understand it's not the hotels fault but it did not help that this added to leaving my phone charger plugged in to the wall and housekeeping claims nothing was left in room. Not impressed.

The room for the conference was clean, well lit, and comfortable for the purpose we used it for.

Although the room was a little run down and outdated it was clean fresh and comfortable.

Friendly and comfortable. Room was small, but clean. The staff was great!

I recommend not staying here. Not worth it for the cheap price. Toilet didn't work, free Wi-Fi didn't work. The kicker though, checked in at 3 had to wait until 4 for our room to be cleaned.

Stopped here for a cheep night and had a great time. The hotel was nice and we played an escape game Krakit down the street that was the most fun I had in a long time. Thanks for a great night.

This is a great location close to shopping, dining and parks with easy access to the freeway as well. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The building is older but the linens were clean, the kids loved the pool, and the cheerful staff made up for the deficiencies in the building. Thank you.

There was a really nice painting in room 278. It might not still be there when you go but it's worth a shot. It was really nice! it is by marianne dunn. There's a really tiny coffee pot in the room as well. It's cute but not very practical. I'm currently in the room now wasting time. I am naked. I hope this review doesn't get deleted because this will bring joy to someone if they read it and I can at least say it was a nice place to stay and be comfortable in. also wtf: the pool was in another building? we had to go outside in winter to get to it.

This hotel room is very dirty. Dirty floors. I picked up hair in the corner of the bathroom floor. Filthy carpets. If you stay here bring something for your feet. If you have allergies I do not recommend you stay here. It is very dusty. Check restaurant reviews befor you eat there.

Clearly no updates have been done on this hotel since 1979. The carpets were old and dirty, the furniture was mismatched and washcloths had holes in them (clearly needed to be sent to the rag bin). The cleaning left much to be desired i. E. Clearly no one thought to vacuum behind the bedside tables. When I rang down for help (heating was suffocating), no one came. I agree with a previous review. For $50 I wouldn't complain, but $80 for this shabby establishment. A complete rip-off.

This hotel is not worth near the price they charge. It is an old "Motor-Inn" with a "Ramada" sign slapped on the front. The non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke, there were cigarette burns on the furniture. I had to clean the end tables of sticky drink rings as soon as I walked in. Location was poor and the room was rundown. For $50 maybe, but not $120. We left 10 minutes after we checked in. One positive thing, we left before 6pm so there was no hassle when we checked out and we were not charged. This place is just not what it is represented to be on the website.
