Pool looks nice, and it is super clean, but that's all that's good. We had a terrible late night check in, neither keys worked when we got to or room in the very back, had to go all the way back to the front while tired kids were waiting. Mistakes happen, but no offer of comp breakfast or drinks or anything. Then we discovered our 2 BR room has one air conditioner unit and a couple of fans, not really what I would describe as air conditioned. Took most of the night to cool off on a hot day. Then the topper was their alarm clocks have alarms that work even unplugged, I had to plug it back in to get it to turn off at 5:30 am! When I told the front desk, I got a nice apology, but no offer of discount or other typical concession. Never staying there again, makes me wary of Best Western if that is the standard for customer mistakes.

Stayed here with a sports team group. Kids loved the pool and staff were very patient with a large group of 11 year old boys. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool so we were able to sit there and keep an eye on the boys. Restaurant was good, service friendly. All around a good stay.

Room was clean, service staff polite and professional. Hotel was adequate, but nothing special. Was upset that parking was charged for, after reading reviews saying it was free. Never received the Wi-Fi password from check-in staff on arrival, and had a lamp that did not turn on in my room. The facility was in a decent state of repair, and the restaurant had timely service and good food. The wait staff there were pleasant. Wouldn't go out of my way to stay there again, as there is nothing that particularly stands out about this property. It was an adequate place to stay.

Great service friendly helpful staff. Hotel a little bit older but the room was very clean and had been updated some. Koodo's to Jodi for getting on the cab company that was making me late for appointments. The ladies in the restaurant were excellent as well. The housekeeping and laundry staff are extremely hard working!

Me and my family had a great stay at the hotel for 2 weeks. Cozy environment and nice indoor garden/ pool area. I heard a redevelopment of the site to a condominium project. It’s sad to know the hotel will be gone soon!

A great hotel in Coquitlam. It's definitely not the trendiest neighborhood in Vancouver! But the reception is really professional, the staff is adorable and does the utmost to satisfy you. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is OK. Not included in the price of the room it's a pity.
The parking is paying 6, 35 dollars a night, it's a bit too bad too.
Big Korean population in the neighborhood, bcp of Korean restaurants and even Korean supermarket! If you don't like this kind of cooking then you will have to move!

Stayed for a hockey tournament and have been before. Great amenities: indoor garden, indoor pool, room service, rooms are very spacious and clean. Beds are good and it was very quiet in the rooms. Love that there are also 2 bedroom suites for families.

Excellent Hotel! We truly enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus Coquitlam Inn Convention Centre. The front desk staff checked us in & out with ease. They were able to accommodate our family of 8 over Easter weekend. The rooms (1 room & 1 apartment) were clean & very roomy. The pool was the highlight of the weekend for the children. The online pictures don't do it justice… it's a true oasis with fountains & bridges. The restaurant set a table for 12 (8 of us plus 4 cousins) for dinner on Good Friday. The food was delicious & the service was excellent! I recommend this hotel & look forward to staying here on our next trip. All Best Western hotels are privately owned, so each one is unique.

They have happy hour 2-6pm. It’s like a mini water lodging stay since they have a pool and hot tub. They also have a dry sauna and some of the rooms over look the pool. I’m glad my room wasn’t close to the pool since it can be noisy if kids are screaming. Pool is open 9am-9pm. Dry sauna is open from 5:30am-9pm. They have a bistro which I wish I had been able to go during happy hour but wanted to explore Vancouver about 26-30 min away. Book through hotel tonight and they gave me the double bed room and the pillows were super comfortable! The bed was a bit above average. The one thing I really liked was this place was really clean and staff were friendly and professional! Great service! I forgot my toothbrush and they had complimentary ones. You just have to ask at the front desk! They even offered to bring it upstairs! Definitely will be coming here with family!

I've spent alot of time at this hotel for work. The front desk staff is good, the restaurant/bar is good. Thank God they got rid of that breakfast place that use to be there… The rooms feel old and they have the most uncomfortable beds in the all the hotels I stay at. Doesn't matter if it's a double bed room, queen or king suite, you would be more comfortable sleeping on the floor…

I came to this hotel as a child and enjoyed revisiting it with my daughter. Still looks the same. We enjoyed the pool and the tropical feel of the hotel. Staff where friendly and the hotel is very clean. Could use a little updating and better lighting. Overall we enjoyed our stay and how close it was to Ikea.

Its comfy and the staff are friendly. The indoor garden around the pool and hot tub is a beautiful sight but… to get that sight you have to have a room by the pool and they open the pool up far too early. Woke up both mornings on my weekend escape from my 4 kids to children screaming outside my window : (Checkout is 11pm and the pool shouldn't open until 10am.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful! Our team was there for a girls volleyball tournament. Instantly we noticed no elevator. Long walk with baggage to stairs. Coffee in room but no available coffee down in lobby. Apparently other parents reported incredibly high prices in restaurant, (typical as most hotels figure they have a captive audience). We went to Horton’s for 1/4 the price. Toilet had minimal flushing power. Notified staff on first day and they said they fixed it but same on second day of our stay. Overall a nice place however and the pool area was beautiful.

I stayed 2 nights for a business conference. The room I stayed in was nothing special but I couldn't complain about a single thing. The staff were all very friendly. The pool and hot tub is in the middle of the hotel in a jungle-like courtyard. That was really cool. And the conferences themselves were well done. Food was great. Always fresh coffee. Well done.

Great hotel with a beautiful atrium where the pool and hot tub are. The room was nice and big. We did have problems with the AC but the remote only needed new batteries and the maintenance guy was quick to fix it.

The hotel continues to have the best front of house staff anywhere and they set a good tone. The rest of the staff are wonderful too, The pool is one of the most enjoyable anywhere, and it is good to see the lounge chairs back. The restaurant/bar has been greatly improved and is now, once again, a good place to eat and drink. The hotel is said to be slated for demolition in late 2018 as part of a site redevelopment. That would be a damn shame as this hotel attracts locals, visitors, business groups, sports groups. It is a real asset. Best Western and Coquitlam should do everything they can to keep it.

We stayed three nights at Best Western Coquitlam Inn Convention Centre and could not have asked for a better experience. The rooms were clean and well appointed, just as advertised. The front desk staff were ALL friendly, helpful and willing to offer suggestions for nearby attractions. ANYTHING we approached the front desk about was handled effortlessly and professionally. Whatever Management is doing at this hotel could serve as a teaching model for all others! Thank you for making our family visit and the experiences of both rooms so incredibly special.

The best Best Western hotel we have stayed at yet! Extremely friendly, professional and caring staff. Very clean rooms and atrium is beautiful. Get food and service! Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again soon!

In general our experience at this hotel was good. The service provided by both hotel and restaurant personnel was courteous and pointed, although a bit short-staffed. The food and beverages provided in the restaurant were enjoyed by the whole family (from baby to senior). The décor of the hotel is quite unique and well-appointed, the reception area is welcoming and comfortable. Facilities include workout room, spa, sauna, interior swimming pool and hot tub to which some ground floor rooms have direct access. The latter facilities are surrounded by a myriad of indoor plants, bushes and reflecting pools. The only downside to our stay is the knowledge that the hotel is slated for demolition in late 2018.

This is one of the most beautiful Best Westerns I've ever stayed at. Staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms are comfy and the whole garden decor is gorgeous. Hot tub is hot and pool is large. We will definetly be coming back!

GREAT staff. The guy found out it was our anniversary and gave us a cheaper price for the nicer room just to be kind. Clean room. Clean pool area. Give free snacks and extra towels. Room service. Good TV options. Spacious rooms. Liquor store next door. And I can't find one bad thing to say except that the room was a bit cold. Recommend it.

A wonderful property. Indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna as well as the fitness center all surrounded by plants. Very inviting atmosphere. The Staff is great and extremely helpful. Great value for the money. Breakfast service was excellent and well managed. Everything worked in my room and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, an outstanding experience and a property I will visit next year when I visit in August.

I have never stayed at the best western plus but I have been there many times as part of my job. It's a very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It's located right in between Burnaby, Coquitlam, and New West and easily accessible. I would recommend it to anyone that needed a place to stay in or near any of those three areas.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pool area is very pretty and well kept. Was staying at the hotel because my sister was having surgery, and the hotel had medical rates for our stay, which was very much appreciated. (rates other wise are very high : () A little disappointed that the resteraunts attached are permanently closed though. Would recommend this hotel.

We spent a night in this hotel while visiting Vancouver. The hotel felt very clean and modern. The middle of the hotel was amazing with tons of vegetation and water features. There was a nice pool in the hotel and the staff made sure that visitors honored the pool hours to keep the hotel quiet in evenings and mornings. The hotel also had a restaurant with big menu and a full bar. The rooms were nice and clean, the beds modern and comfortable. I would have preferred more plugs by the bed side for charging devices. The location is also just 5 minutes away from a nice big mall.

We needed accommodation for a recent quick trip to Vancouver and searched for a hotel close to where we were going to spend the majority of our time. We have not stayed at a Best Western for years but took a chance on this property and were happily surprised! We booked at the last minute and were very pleased with the results! Although an older complex they have done an excellent renovation with all the modern touches! We were ensconced in Suite 308 in the single building at the rear of he complex … away from the traffic & noise at the corner of North Rd & Highway. This unit was a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen & dining room. The kitchen has been updated with Shaker cabinets, granite counter tops, and full size newer Maytag appliances including a dishwasher & overhead microwave with fan. The 2 TV's are newer flat screen Samsungs and the washroom has been updated as well wth a bath/shower combo & granite counter top. Most of the windows can be opened for fresh air circulation and there is an abundance of storage space. The front desk staff are friendly & efficient and check in/out was easy! We plan on staying at this property again!

No elevator to second floor! Room was old and smelled funny. Nice lobby and entrance area. Good location, close to hwy 1

We only went to a room upstairs for a pension seminar. Parking was easy, coffee was good, washrooms were clean, room was fine.

The hotel was very accommodating. Just moved here from calgary and had to bring my dog and they allowed pets, so that was nice. Overall great experience.

Nice layout with rooms surrounding the pool area. Soothing sounds from the fountains. Nice restaurants in the place. Decent rooms with nice bathrooms. Close proximity to where I'm working. Could have faster Wi-Fi for work access and no bottled water options in vending machines.

Our company recently spent an evening at the Best Western Plus in Coquitlam for our corporate Christmas party that was being held nearby. We really loved the attention we were given by the staff and the rooms were just great. Location was very central and easy for us to get to our venue. We will be sure to stay there again when we are in Coquitlam.

My husband, and I were very impressed by the atmosphere, and friendly attitude of this hotel. The check-in was flawless, and quick. We were surprised by a free upgrade (Special Thanks to Daryl-Front desk) to a THEME room, ours was Civil/Westren era. It was a room we had really wanted as we had viewed this room online, but upon booking we chose a King room as our funds have been limited lately due to family crisis. We were over joyed, and walked to our room through a beautiful lobby, and sitting areas fire side, as well as the amazing tropical gardens surrounding the pool, and hot tub area. This area is covered in wall to wall unfinished cedar making it all the more cozy, inviting, and peaceful. You would never know that you were in the city, as you cannot see that, yet you are so close to everything one would need. A sauna, and fitness room are also available. Our room was amazing, a horse drawn carriage for a bed with a mirrored canopy, a interior patio that views the pool area with a sliding glass door with privacy curtains facing the gardens. The decor is just right for that type of era. A jetted tub with mirrored wall, a full bathroom with glass double headed copper showerhead, two sinks, fresh, and invigorating toiletries. A flat screen t. V. I-pod docking station, loveseat, club chair, coffee maker, coffee mugs, refrigerator/freezer, wine glasses, and deal with stationary. We shall definitely return again, as this is a nice go between our Mexico trips.

The place is dated and it can be challenging to get into the lot. Not too many parking spots but lots of good eats around.

Due to a recent medical emergency my daughter and I recently found ourselves having to find a hotel close to Royal Columbia Hospital. This wasn't an easy feat as we had very little notice, and we live 500 miles away and are unfamiliar with the area. We managed to get a room at Best Western and it was the best decision we could have made! The hotel management and staff are amazing… extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is extremely well kept, welcoming and in an excellent location. Jodi, the manager that we dealt with offered us an a great medical rate, free parking and a discount at the two onsite restaurants which was a huge help, and also went out of her way to keep us in our room for what turned into a 4 week stay. Not easy at peak season! From management to housekeeping to restaurant staff… a difficult time in our lives was made so much easier by the kindness and consideration of the people working in this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful retreat… I can't wait to return, hopefully next time for a holiday!

I had a beautiful room, very clean and accomodating, this will be my second stay, I will come back anytime I am down this way again.

Great hotel pool and an escape game Krakit is just down the street was a blast! That was one of the most exciting nights we had in a long time. We need one of these back home.

Hotel and the staff are very good. Please do not eat at the restaurant, the food is truly hideous. I would have rated this hotel much higher if not for the horrendous dinner that took three times as long as it should have and tasted like wood soaked in vinegar.

Very convenient location and well maintain hotel. Is not a super bussy area but is connected to all the bussy areas like Vancouver and Burnaby so you can get there in the same time as if you were there because you take the highway instead of the little streets or just hoop on the skytrain which is way faster.

We stayed here May 25 overnight to attend a function nearby. The hotel is definitely the best choice in the Coquitlam/North Burnaby area and we would recommend it for its cleanliness, reception greeting, newness of its room amenities and location — close to Hwy 1, Lougheed Mall and Skytrain.

I ended up at the Best Western Plus Coquitlam Inn Convention Centre late one night after checking in at a dirty and disappointing Best Western down the road (AVOID the BW Chelsea Inn! ). I was greeted by friendly and warm hospitality that lasted my entire stay, right from the late night clerks to the hotel manager. The entire place is clean, pleasant and quiet. My room was great, at the back of a huge "jungle" in the inside courtyard (which makes the whole hotel smell fresh and healthy). I had a huge room, with a nice sitting area, and desk. The bathroom setup was nice too, with a second sink outside of the main bathroom (helpful for couples and families). I highly recommend this hotel.
