Nice and clean rooms and friendly staff.

Don’t judge the book by its cover. The exterior is dated, but the rooms are nice. It nice garden patio in the middle of parking lot as well.

While the room was clean, the bed wasn't overly comfortable. The ad on the site we booked was a little misleading. I feel like we were lied to about a few things.

From checking in to checking out everyone is very friendly and awesome! Stayed for the May long weekend and all the rooms were BOOKED, but still managed to have great parking for everyone. Big parking space and big, clean rooms!

The hotel was easily accessed from the highway and was close to downtown. The rooms were a little outdated, but clean and comfortable. Overall the stay was good.

Charged extra for having three guests, but when only two stayed I was refused a refund for the third. The so called complementary breakfast was actually just a 5 dollar off coupon and did not cover a hot beverage such as coffee. The breakfast was less than desirable. Hollandaise sauce was definitely from a packet and had an unfortunately fishy after taste. The younger gentleman at the front who we checked in with had a chip on his shoulder. The scenery is very pleasant and the feature pond was definitely my favorite part. I enjoyed the cleaning staff most of all.

Had lunch there today food was really good and the service was fast and friendly.

Not the best sushi I've had. It was pretty though. They have some western too. Truck stop flare. I have a personal issue with greasy/sticky furniture.

Had the bento box. Fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff was really nice. There is a Japanese patio grotto that is fantastic.

Newly renovated. Clean. Very good value.

Nice comfortable clean room. No hair drier. Great food at restaurant and Continental breakfast included. Dog friendly.

The Japanese restaurant is awesome. One of the best restaurant Creston has to offer.

We were originally headed for the Ramada, but passed by the Magnuson Hotel enroute and seeing that it looked well-kept and had a restaurant, we decided to take a chance. Very glad we did, too! All staff were friendly and sociable, the room was clean and comfortable, and the beds were great. Even better, the restaurant served both Western and Thai food. If not for the overwhelming smell of cleaner, for which I had to keep the windows open for a long time to vent, I would have given the place 5 stars.

Once again it is the touring motorcyclist that stays in "mom & pop" establishments. This time it is the Magnuson Hotel. Shouldn't it be named the Magnuson Motel? Oh well. Down to the review: 2 people, $107 was a bit steep but the room was spotlessly clean. Quiet. Beds were top notch and clean of course. Bathroom was also clean but the shower water pressure was low. Neat water garden feature in the centre court that I relaxed in with my touring buddy. Hot breakfast with ONE egg! Not a buffet breakfast but it is served to you with some choices so that saves money. Would stay here again.

The price as is should be a little cheaper. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast is good. But. It is old and they need new furniture. Our sink in bathroom was plugged with something. Not sure if we would stay there again. They would have to upgrade first.

Very well cared for. Much nicer rooms and restaurant than I was expecting for the price.

Older motel, room was clean, had wood floors in main area and tile floors in bathroom, some Reno's in bathroom and fresh paint throughout. All in all a good value.

Good value for money. Clean rooms, quiet and effective air conditioning, restaurant on site and grocery around the corner. I'd stay again.

Room was clean and well equipped. Slight annoyance with how far the ice machine was to the room, and room did not have a freezer in the fridge. Otherwise, well kept, clean and simple. Breakfast was great!

Just staying 2 nights and very impressed! Updated and done very well! Made to order breakfast off a condensed menu but was terrific! Staff very friendly and efficient. If I had a complaint — it would be the pillows! But all in all a terrific little motel in Creston!

Horrible customer service. Mix up with online booking and they wouldn't honour my PAID reservation, instead wanted to double charge me. It's a motel not a hotel, and looks nothing like the pictures online. The lobby is dark and unwelcoming. Stayed at the Ramada instead, little pricier but WELL worth the extra $40.

It was good for one night.

Good value. Decent sized, clean rooms with small continental breakfast. Concierge was friendly. Cute large patio area with a pond in the Centre. Only downside was that sound traveled through the walls a bit.

The faciliies are getting old but the onwer is changing to new one. Price is afforable and reasonable. There are food market, restaurant, and bakerly nearby and it was walking distance. They have nice and fast service. If you would like to stay there few days and cook own your meal, they have family and kitchen room where my family stayed.

Do not stay at the hacienda inn. The Hacienda Inn was very filthy. Filth that builds up if a place is not kept up very well. Stained carpet, urine on the toilet, nasty smell in the room as well. The floors were so filthy we wouldn't let our baby crawl on them or even touch anything. I thought I was getting an upgrade by getting a jacuzzi room. Wrong! The room was also tucked away down a dirty hallway. Once we noticed the room was so nasty it was too late to wake up our baby and move to a different hotel entirely. I voiced my complaint first thing in the morning upon check out. The staff / owner showed no interest in compensating me for the poor conditions of the room. I had to tell them to speak English in front of me. They ended up rebating me only $10 of the $120 they were charging for the room. 1 out of 10 rating from me. Just a nasty filthy place that should be condemned.

We reserved a room with a kitchenette but when we arrived they tried to give us a root with nothing but a fridge for the same price as a room with a kitchenette. No coffee. Door to our room did not close properly. Odd stains, looked like blood. Small, brown things under sofa, maybe dog food, maybe worse. Found $20 under sofa, room obviously not cleaned properly. Nice pool, nice view. Recommend owners fire everyone and hire better staff.
