Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Front door desk clerk was very rude. Beds were uncomfortable. Whole hotel needs new everything.

Good price. Bad Wi-Fi. Old tube TV and smelly room until it aired out a bit.

The staff was mad at me because there was water on the floor in spa ROOM after we had a quick dip. Was very rude and disrespectful. Never going again. I mean. It offers spa/sauna services but then expect you to come out dry. What the hell? worste customer service.

Nice place to stay. Good rates and friendly staff. Rooms are a little dated but the price is right. The common area is pretty nice too.

Customer service was awful! Stayed for one night on business and the receptionist cursed at me because my company didn't send correct Information on time. Rather than being accommodating and friendly he was angry and verbally upset with me for circumstances out of my controll. And my room had no heat! Had to be dialed in manually by the receptionist who informed me many times that my room would have be warm if this F****** joke Hadn't happend and I had MY s*** together. I offered to leave and stay somewhere but he "insisted" I stay. The room was dated and dinjy. Great value for the price I suppose but I'm not staying here again.

Everything has been great except that the room next door is smoking and the smell came in through the washroom vent.

When I first booked online, I accidentally booked the wrong date and after a couple of phone calls, the owner was able to switch the dates for me for no extra charge. The hotel and room was nice and cozy, a little rustic and older but very welcoming. I recommend booking via phone instead of online though.

This place was perfect for a no-fuss overnight stop on the highway, at a great price. The location is close to many area restaurants and coffee shops for the morning after. And the hot tub was a great added bonus.

Stayed two nights. Clean rooms and whirlpool, lovely being right downtown. Great coffee right across the street. And having the locals tips helped get us back on the road. I would recommend the stay!

This is a great little hotel with a wonderful common area if you arrive with a group. Staff is nice and helpful, rooms are clean. Coffee and tea in the common area every morning. Will be back.

On a motorcycle trip passing through Creston for the night the Downtowner was a pleasant surprise. The service from the beginning was great with a small tour and explanation of the motel. Marg was very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, comfortable with ac and excellent Wi-Fi. There is also a comfy common area with books, fridge and microwave. Nice added touch was the bike/car towels at entrance! Great cheap place to spend the night in Creston. Would recommend.

An Innkeeper who truly HATES his job. Our truck broke down 20km out of Creston on our way to Alberta. (Bless the sweet old farm couple who drove us into town) We had no choice but to stay at this hotel as we were on a budget. Room was decent, so was the common area. Too bad the guy working the front desk was so miserable. We checked in late, around 7pm. Check out time is 11, but we had no where to go and nothing to do in Creston! We had all of our computers, cameras and bags with us. So when I went to beg the owners to let us stay till 1pm when our friend was coming with a trailer to take us home, they said we could stay till 11:30am at the latest. real generous + accommodating of them.

The gentleman at the desk was unhappy and generally grumbled at every request. His guests seemed to be an inconvenience to him. Lady was very nice. Bed spread had stains on it so I had to remove it. Not a great place to be.
