We only stayed one night to break up our trip home from Calgary and like so many other reviewers wished we could have stayed longer. The lodge is set on a hillside and so peaceful. We sat outside enjoying the garden for quite a while before moving inside onto big comfortable sofas. We were made very welcome by our hosts who organized a huge packed breakfast for us as we wanted to leave early to avoid being stuck in the construction traffic. Truly a home from home!

Very wonderful time had at Kapristo lodge not only were they very kind and friendly but they made you feel right at home in this cozy relaxing mountain oasis. Not to mention the great views and grande breakfast!

The entire stay was a wonderful experience! ||We required pet friendly accommodations, and this was such an unforgettable choice. I think our pets were treated as guests, and we were treated as family. The hosts did a remarkable job with their custom home; the property and rooms are incomparable to other B&Bs. The breakfast was also amazing. We will be back, and in the meantime, referring all friends and family to stay here!

We only stayed one night at the end of a 750km drive. Unfortunately I also forgot about the hours difference so we arrived pretty late.|Not hard to find a little south of Golden.|The room was very spacious and comfortable, lots of wood!|Good shower.|Breakfast was really good, we needed a lot more people to do it justice , it was a vast amount of food with plenty of choice. |Our host was very friendly and well travelled, interesting conversation!|Some great tips for our trip too.|The property was in a nice location and very quiet. It was a shame that we didn't get to spend a little longer there.|Thank you!

On the drive out to the property, the person who chose our lodging worried that the distance from the mountain (and the next morning's skiing) would be a problem - it's about 10km out of Golden. This was a needless worry - the place was a fantastic refuge. Our hosts were friendly, and gracious, and really helpful. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and comprehensive. There were plenty of places to relax (including a hot tub, nestled in the snow, just outside the back door). Breakfasts were enormous and delicious. Overall, it was the perfect choice to relax after a long day of skiing, and refresh for the next day's adventures. We couldn't have picked a better place.

We stayed at Kapristo Lodge in September 2018. It is the most perfect B&B. The owner is a charming lady who is exceptionally hospitable. We stayed in the Cougar Room which is impeccably furnished. The very large bed was very comfortable and we had a wonderful sleep. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty. I will definitely be coming back to stay!!!||Only downside to mention was we wanted to use the hot tub to soothe our aching hiked out bodies but it was out of access.

Amazing experience! Totally authentic. The breakfast was all homemade (even homeade jam). Rooms were cozy & the hospitality was genuine. Will go back & would recommend.

I was at Kapristo lodge to pick up a friend who was staying there. From what I could tell it's a nice little lodge in a beautiful spot.

My stay here was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling through the area or staying for a time. Didn't get to enjoy all the amenities as it was pouring rain the entire time we were here. : (

An overnight stay here is an extremely enjoyable experience. All very familiar and super-friendly. Great location, great breakfast … And today I mentioned the nice landlady who has a lot of great stories to tell?
Note, however, that it is a bit remote, you should inform yourself in good time about the journey. Navi is partly somewhat inaccurate. The road is worth it, though!
