This is hands down my favourite hotel. The staff is great, the pool is great, there's a waffle maker at breakfast. They make popcorn in the lobby, so you can have popcorn written you're chilling in your really nice clean room watching a movie on the nice flat screen tv. So good.

Great hotel just off the highway. Three beds, great breakfast and a pool with water slide. Rooms were clean and lots of easy parking. Walking distance to fast food places and short drive to restaurants. Rates were really good would stay again.

HUGE rooms at average prices; we were super impressed. Kitchenette, fireplace, big TV on a swivel, and an exterior door. The included breakfast was amazing, hot eggs meat and pancakes, with waffles on demand, yogurt cups with fixings, and then the usual cereal, breads, coffee & juice. The gym was well equipped with both machines and free weights, and the pool was large and clean with a fun water slide. Staff was helpful and chipper. My sole complaint would be the age showing in some of the room-the carpet had stains and the arms of the couch had definitely seen a few hundred guests.

Health code violations: staff not using gloves when handling food. Direct contact with pre-made pancakes from freezer. Bathroom was insufficiently cleaned and left sticky floors. Staff put the dirty sheets on our suitcases when stripping the beds. Emptied garbage cans were not put away. Toilet left open with the cleaner still in it. (This was courtesy of both chamber maids (old term) … One staff member always greeted us with a Hello and a smile; her name was Kaley. The manager gave me flowers on the death of my brother.

Best… Breakfast… Ever… Huevose (Spanish for "eggs") rancheros. Internet died and won't come back on… — 1⭐. But the pool is cold… Although, pull out microwave shelf!

This hotel is the best! We come here once a year at Christmas time. The staff here are some of the nicest people, they truly treat you like family. The entire place is extremely clean, the breakfast is nice, the pool and hot tub is beautiful. They even cleaned our car off after a snow storm!

Great rate, clean room. Friendly staff and a decent breakfast in the morning. We needed a simple room for a quick overnight and that's what we got. Recommend this place if you need a room in High River.

Comfortable and pleasant stay. I didn't plan ahead and there ended up being a huge country music star in Calgary forcing us to push further south to find accommodations. I would stay here again.

This was a ridiculous experience at the High River location. My family and I just ended up walking out and not staying there. We reserved two rooms for the weekend, but when we arrived, we found that one room we were given keys for was closed and under renovation, unknown to the front desk person who supplied us with keys anyway. Since there are seven people in our family, we needed two rooms. The front desk person kept cutting me off to answer the phone and ignoring me as I told him to deal with the person in front of him. He then finally just said that they were completely full. When I told him that we were just walking out, he simply said, "Sure. " No apology was offered.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Would stay again.

Very clean room and careful pool maintenance. Paul at the front desk gave us great recommendations on shopping, including concise directions and with a smile. Serena ran the breakfast room impeccably, keeping on top of cleaning up after hordes of preteen lacrosse players. Well done super 8 high river!

Nice big rooms, close to amenities — liquor store, fast food and restaurants. Continental breakfast included (waffle maker and they also have bacon, scrambled eggs).

Good clean room with decent kitchenette. Friendly staff and comfortable bedding. Nice and quiet.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Clean and nice interior. Excellent complementary breakfast, and they even included a complimentary pork and bun dinner while I was there. Only drawback was that it was a little pricey for me, but that's probably to be expected for smaller towns. Otherwise, great hotel, and I really enjoyed my stay.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. What could have been a mediocre experience turned out amazing! The customer service was fabulous — staff was very responsive to any of our concerns. The breakfast was far and above what many hotels call "continental breakfast" — the kids LOVED the waffles with berries and whipped cream included in the price of the room. The pool was great, the amenities were lovely — they had a cooler with lemon water and a popcorn popper in the lobby — kids loved that too! Thanks for a great stay. :)

I'm surprised with positive feedbacks. Everyone knows that Super 8 internet is the slowest internet among all hotels. I got faster internet on my cell phone. Management better invest money in Wi-Fi speed improvement instead of swimming pool which is rarely used. Also fridge is ridiculously small. Carpets have stains left from previous persons. Never recommend this hotel to my friends.

Lori lee was so nice so refreshing. I would of slept in the wash room if that's all she had.

We stayed at Super 8 High River on August 9th. Lori-Lee Wales went out of her way to make our stay a very enjoyable one. She was so friendly and sincere, it made us feel at home. It was awsome. Great Breakfast, Wonderful staff, Lots of Semi Parking,, Just tight to get into from main drag.

Always treat us fantastic! Aside from one women a few years ago, but never the less this hotel has always treated us great! Newer hotel with a nice pool, hot tub and water slide. No pool side rooms but ground floor rooms do have their own separate entrance from the outside directly into the room. Always clean and fresh.
