Second time at this Hotel. First time was a great experience. Second time around not so much. Clearly the room I have had a smoker in it. The place stinks. I got woken up sever times during the night by this swooshing sound. Impossible to sleep. I will not stay here again, period.

Indoor pond a luxurious ambience, in the room a luxurious equipment. Would have liked to stay longer. Relaxed by shuttle to the airport.

Very bad… They have no right to insult you. The manager have no maners to talk. I will tell you if you like to get insulted then stay their hotel. Very bad experience I ever had in edmonton.

Economy Hotel rooms are kind of dated cleanliness is what you'd expect and it was inexpensive.

Room was clean. Free Wi-Fi. Cheap! $72 including tax through expedia. Free shuttle to the airport was very convenient I do wish the breakfast started a little earlier (starts at 6)

Room is nice — separate bedroom and eating area, clean. Friendly service. Would be great to have a debit machine or. Have vending machine that take debit. I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Great value for a night's stay and parking for a week, modern lobby, rooms are a little dated. Front desk staff were great.

I Always stay here when I am up for the RB sale it's close and reasonable prices staff is friendly rooms are clean and supplies are good And most importantly NO bed bugs The elevator is a little slow but it works.

Very cold. The person sleeping by the window froze all night as the cold was brought in through the air conditioner even tho we had the fireplace cranked up. The complimrntary breakfast was a joke. Never will stay again.

Friendly staff, great and cozy room, bed was really comfortable to sleep in, good breakfast for when u need something quick to eat, nice fitness room but the only complaint is that when we came into the roomph there was a half empty coke can behind the curtains. But all out it is a great place to stay and I recommend if u need a place to stay for the night.

Best price / quality ratio in Leduc. Stay here all the time when flying out of Edmonton. Comfortable beds, fireplace and big TV in rooms.

Good for a night. Funky room. I kept expecting to see a stripper pole. Evening clerk was a funny guy. Morning guy polar opposite.

Yes, it's older and the decor is older but the rooms are big and the price was right for a one night stop and stay. Rooms are clean. Best pillows ever; I wanted to take one home. I would suggest they switch out the carpet and maybe a neutral paint color on the walls and it'd have a much more modern feel.

I was going for an early morning walk from my hotel around the corner from the Crystal Star, Inn enjoying a coffee and the sunshine. When I rounded The bend the magnificent modern exterior of Crystal Star came into view causing me to pause a step as the glint of the sun of its silver and blue metallic panelling shone brightly. As the building's impressive design stood alone from all others in the area with it's beautiful design and unique architecture, I just had to walk into the lobby to satisfy my piqued curiosity. Entering the front doors I was immediately astonished at the detail of the Crystal Star's interior design and the mix of retro and modern finishing, furniture, and fixtures caused me to exclaim out loud, "Holy Smokes! " After expressing my appreciation of the eye of the hotel's designer to the super friendly man working the front desk, and remarking how I hadn't seen anything like it before in this province or even outside of Las Vegas, he asked if I would like to check in and offered me such an unbelievably competitive nightly rate that I immediately switched hotels and have been here ever since. That was three days ago and I have no plans to leave anytime soon. I highly recommend you come and stay here even for just the experience. The rooms are gigantic and the service is exceptional.

I'd give zero if possible. The place smells terrible and seems dirty. Had a enlightening debate with the attendant about abortion being a woman's choice … I think that a woman has the right to choose… he begs to differ. Before he could finish telling me about how assimilation was a good thing for Canada's indigenous, I left. Yuck.

Great night stay, friendly staff, they you a deal if you call them direct instead of booking at expedia. They had huge rooms with giant TV's, place was pretty colorful. Only gripe was the slow elevator. Will definitely be coming back next time.

Super friendly staff but the decorating was not even remotely up to date. And tihe rooms needed a good cleaning, as did the elevator. But I didn't check online, so it serves me right. Lesson learned.

Rooms are huge! Not to mention the staff are very welcoming! My grandparents stayed here for a visit, they absolutely loved it! You pretty much get the same service/luxury at this place as all other hotels in vicinity (Super 8, Ramada, Royal etc. ), except this one is cheaper.

So much colour! And the staff are awesome. Very friendly people, great rooms, and a great price to go with it all. I love it! New favourite hotel in the area. We need more hotels like this one.

JT — — April 22, 2011 — PROCEED WITH CAUTION — — I stayed here for 3 nights. The service was TERRIBLE and the staff were RUDE. NOT ONCE was my room cleaned, my bed made or given clean towels. I asked to use the customer computor. After waiting for about 10 minutes for the staff to turn it on, I again asked when they were going to turn it on. I was rudely told that I had to pay first. I had it! I just left. Their continental breakfast is GROSS — all no name products. The eggs served were a plate of pickled eggs (for breakfast? ) I will NEVER stay here again, NOR will I recommend it to anybody.

I recently stayed there for one night, and what a horrible experience. After seeing the nightlife in the Leduc area, me and my friends returned to the hotel. We went straight to the room, and decided to have a nightcap before bed and 3 minutes into the room. No music. No t. V. On. The phone rings and it is the front desk who tell me that we have to leave or turn the lights out and go straight to bed, or they will call the RCMP on us? When I go to discuss this with them at the front desk. They actually start dialing the police? How did they even know the lights were on in the room? It almost seems as though they are watching? I returned to the room and proceeded to bed just because it seemed easier to deal with it by a personal letter to owners of the dump. I booked this corparate and will highly NOT reccomend it to my enemy let alone a friend. Not happy.

I absolutey recommend this hotel to everyone! It has the finest rooms! Great and HUGE 50 inch T. Vs in each room, they even have some rooms with round, revolving beds! How much better can it get! Beautiful rooms, it LOOKS and FEELS like a Las Vegas hotel. So colorful and such sweet staff! Fireplaces in every room! Great sized beds, very roomy rooms, great desk, so gorgeous! I love it and will be back soon.

Aside from the low price for the rooms there is little appeal to this hotel, rooms are not thoroughly cleaned and the decor is painful to behold.
