Decent room and a decent stay. Nothing special. Continental breakfast is a joke. And I mean. A joke. Their was no waffles… no waffle maker. No yogurt. No cereal. Not even a Kurieg coffee machine like most places. No hard boiled eggs. It was just bread. And muffins and pastries and bad coffee. I should have taken a picture.

It's ok nothing to great bathroom had a slight problem when I showed up (flush wasn't working properly). And not all TV in the rooms are great my TV volume ii not went to 33 and I could hear the NBA game. It sounded like the game was playing on the other room. Other then that in was a ok stay. And bring you own soap.

Checked in hotel staff was friendly however, we opened our door to carpet lifting mold all over the tub and toilet also dirt. Appeared to be bullet holes and blood stains on wall burn holes all over the bed curtains capets mattress you name it, it had a burn hole. Every wall had a stain also every inch of the caper we immediately felt itchy the mold had my Asmatic husband coughing you cold smell the must, Never will I EVER stay here or recommened it to anyone it is gross save your cash!

Very poor location : lots of shady people around in a gaming centre which does not feels safe especially at night and also there is a restaurant with strong cooking odor creeping in. The rooms are poor looking — we stayed in several Travelodge locations but this did not meet the other's standards. I would advice to book somewhere else — IMO It is not worth the money.

Buffet is good compared with the price you paid. We went on Sat lunch. For C$20, you do have a lots of food to choose where it is about C$10 now for a Mcdonald meal.

I contemplated giving the four star rating however the amenities are a games room and free continental breakfast with each stay. I was informed by staff they are currently undergoing a room to room renovation so a further review after completion could very well get the four star rating. An added service is an in-house privately owned and operated barber who offers a great price and extremely friendly experience.

Not sure what to say about this place. They try hard to maintain it properly. Has a great buffet restaurant attached to it as well as a small bar and a barber shop.

Over charged for deposit. I was told I was signing the room & deposit at $400. Go to find out that it was just the deposit, even thou they had told me it was $200. Had to talk to front desk about it on 4 separate occasions, not including phone calls. This held up my credit card on a $900. Hold over 1 week before crediting my card back. They also stated that there was a smell & a pet mess in the room. I asked management to show me the problems they were complaining about & they couldnt find any mess or stain. They even went & moved the furniture to look for something for them to have a legit problem with. There was nothing! This is just 2 problem we had during a 3 day stay… least to say we went to another motel. Will not recommended this motel. But sure will tell MY true experience.

Great food but the service left a lot to be desired. Couldn't order drinks, dirty plates left on table, slow bringing our bills. A woman came to see who would be charged what but couldn't give us a total right away. Then she came back with cashier notes and divided them among us and still wouldn't take our money. Said she would be right back but after 10 to 15 minutes, some of our family just left the money on the table. When she does return she said that there was a 10% tip to be added to each bill and those of us left had to pay the total. She did not even see what we were paying and quite likely those that left had already left an adequate tip. We didn't recount our money to make sure that a total of 10% was left, saying that when reserving the table an automatic tip was not mentioned, the service did not deserve a tip and an automatic tip is usually added to bill. And in all likelihood, if she had counted the money would have had more then the 10%.

Everything you need and expect is there. Great service!

Clean, and personable. Located in a rough part of town, but the staff were really lovely.

Restaurant has been updated and has new menu. They have a huge selection of items set up buffet style with a section for Chinese cuisine, western foods, breakfast items when they open at 11:00 AM as well as a dim sum section sushi area with a good variety of rolls 4 or 5 varieties of soup a large salad bar and dessert bar. I found the food very tasty fresh hot and appealing. They do a very nice job of adding garnishes and drizzling sauce and have very good accompaniments for each type of cuisine. If you can't find something they will make every effort to get it for you. They do provide table service and are very cheerful and accommodating. There is plenty of room for small to very large groups without a reservation with lots of room to go back and forth as often as you like to the buffet tables. You can get a buffet to go. Good location for local residents and travellers. Easy access with handicapped accessibility and wheelchair seating.

Went for christmas dinner reserved a table they gave it away sat somewhere else really cramped, dirty decrepit bathrooms derelict parking and sidewalks. Was walking past looking not to slip on the ice and I got poked in the face by branches. This place is soo ghetto what used to be a road house is now a library right next to the bar and games room so you got drunks and crack heads hitting on and harassing the kids this place should be shut down demolished and sold… new comments last year and this year they still can't clean the sidewalks off added some pictures this year plus they have a new Buffet I think with all that money rolling through that place they can clean the damn sidewalk.

Staff is understanding and easy to work with. In regards to last minute changes and they allow dogs which was a huge bonus.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are ok. The whole place is a throwback to the 70's. We liked the bar attached to the place that was completely 70' in a very cool way (Music and all). It was a cheap place to stay.

I think it was definitely well worth the money and more. The room was not too small, it was well maintained daily and felt very warm, cozy, and comfortable. My boyfriend and I both agree that the bed's mattress was high quality and provided an excellent night's sleep all three nights of our stay. The empty mini fridge was a nice surprize — I was able to store our leftovers and our canned drinks that I brought with us without the need to make trips to the ice machine to keep them cold. The all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant attached to the lobby was open for lunch and dinner and was a delicious, lovely dining experience. The dish options were mainly Asian food dishes, but had many other options as well, such as: north American and eastern European food. A good variety and selection. Free breakfast is available for guests each morning for about 4 hours. The options were mostly: juices, coffee, tea, chopped and whole fruits, pastries, muffins, bread or toast, and various spreads. The hotel itself, though not in a great part of town, was in a very good location as far as nearby shops, drugstores, gas stations and eateries being easily reachable. Tim Horton's was just on the other side of the parking lot in front of the hotel. The only bad thing I have to say about this location are that the Wi-Fi is nearly non-existent (quite weak at times, ) and the walls are thin — we could hear out neighbors talking from the next room.

Continental breakfast is to be included — it is more like coffee and donuts. The sign clearly states you can only have one thing and one drink. I travel alot and this is just lame! Very little if any protein for breakfast — all carbs — yuck!

We go here twice a year for our staycation, and we do so because of the staff, rooms, and now the great breakfast. A plus service in my book.

Rooms were good, clean. Had hardwood floor instead of carpet which was nice. Was told it was a bad area of town, but we didn't have any issues. Front desk was very friendly woman. We would go back.

Its ok for the price, rooms are decent size and the parking lot is well lit. The breakfast leaves much to be desired.

Had a great sleep. The staff was great and had a nice breakfast included with our room. An older establishment, but clean and inexpensive. Thank you.

Was originally made as dimsu. Than just became a buffet. Which was good. I just really wanted dimsum in my bieghborhood.

I did not stay at the Travelodge Edmonton East. However, I ate at the buffet and they had a good selection of food to choose from.

Front desk staff very nice. Room ok. Door difficult to close had to slam it shut.

3 pieces of hair that was 2 feet long were stuck to the back of the bathroom door and 5 that I found on the front of the door that weren't mine. Keycard stopped working every second day. Non smoking room wreaked of smoke. There was a cigarette burn in the couch and on the toilet seat. Walls were all sticky in the room. Maid service doesn't understand the "do not disturb" sign. And the continental breakfast with signs up asking people to only take one pastry and have one cup of coffee or juice is a joke. Staff is friendly though. So that's why the 2 stars.

It was nice staff. A little run down building. My bed was nice. The curtains dont fully cover the windows. You either have two feet open where you walk around. Or where you are sleeping. So privacy was a concern for me.

Nice big room in affordable price. It is clean and tidy. Perfect location having all fastfood chains, wallmart around.

Only in buisness because john's bring their prostitutes there. Murders have occured here.

We came down from Fort McMurray during the fire evacuation last week. Got a room no problem and even gave us a discount because we were from Fort McMurray. Had a buffet set up for $6! Staff was so generous and kind, we really appreciated their hospitality!

Our room is a nonsmoking room. We stayed for two nights visiting Family at the Hospital. Our room has no air-conditioning, for we are all sweating. We do not know if we will be able too sleep tonight. On top of that and the supper was way too much.

We had a good rest and Tim Hortons is walking distance around the corner.

We were given keys to someone else's room, we found out when we walked in on them. Our smoking room had no ashtrays, no fan in the bathroom, got woken up by a domestic disturbance at 730am, and now Wyndham will look into the issues, in the next 6 days! Can't wait for the next 2 nights in this dump.

I stayed here in March 2016. The room we got was terrible. It was extremely outdated and had a definite smoke smell to it even though it was a non smoking room. I need a non smoking room because I am asthmatic. But there were "no more rooms" available when we talked to the reception. They would not give any more details even though it seemed like the hotel was pretty empty. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet had left over feces from the previous occupant. Around 10 pm my husband went to grab toiletries from the macs across the street (the hotel didn't even have a spare toothbrush) where the owner of the macs told him that a murder had taken place in the hotel the night before and the body had been found the very same day that we checked in!. This was such a shock to us as the hotel staff had purposely withheld this information from us and kept us out of the loop. Then we realized that half the hotel was closed down by the police and that's why they didn't have any more rooms. My husband and I were very scared and just wanted to leave but it was late night and we didn't want to go outside. We wanted to leave as soon as possible after having our breakfast that was supposed to be included in the booking. In the morning when we went to the breakfast room we were informed that they didn't have any continental breakfast because the restraunt was shutting down the next day.

I just stayed because it was closed to where I had to be the next morning.

Honestly. This isn't the best area to bring your children. There is a loud bar attached to the hotel; also the non-smoking room my fiancé and I booked, had cigaret butts & other things left in the room. Made me wonder how well the room was cleaned, the beds are also old and squeaky. I did not enjoy my stay here, and I won't be staying again.

The room looked clean and the bed was comfortable, but that's all. The hair drier was so old that when it stated it sounded like a jet engine taking off to, but the breeze that came it of it felt like someone was lightly blowing my hair. My hair stayed soaking wet even after 10 mins of drying. The bathroom had very old and tired looking fixtures, but no fan so anytime it was used it stunk up the whole room. The room had water damage along the bottom of the the walls which lead to peeling of the wall paper. The carpet had stains. Air conditioner was broken, but they did had a fan in the room. The bolt lock was broken only the key part worked. Front desk staff acted as if they had better things to do then help clients. Not worth the price stay somewhere else.
