OK, my mistake, I booked online, on the Radisson site. The site is poorly designed, and I mistakenly reserved on the wrong date, by one day. They charged me for the no show, and when I showed up the next day, they charged my full pop for the room. The manager lied to me and said that they were "sold out" the night before, so could not do anything for me. They were NOT sold out… Tuesday night in early May. I doubt it. I travel a lot, but will never stay at Radisson again.

I had my wedding here a few years ago now. They took care of EVERYTHING and made the process go incredibly smooth. My wedding day was beautiful. They were always ready to answer any questions I had, gave me lots of advice, and took care of every detail. I highly recommend this place as a wedding venue. Not only did they help with location, they helped me find locations to do our wedding photos, and helped us find the best place to buy our alcohol. Planning a wedding can be so stressful, I was lucky to have this place help me out so much.

I did my wedding party there one month ago. The main table crushed in front of everyone. They didn't do what I asked for. The worst part was after the wedding. They talked to me with no morals. They charged me extra money for no reason. I went to talk to them and they said: "We gave you a great deal and this is NOT A CHARITY. The staff said that you have 9 adults extra so we will charge you for that" which is a lie because I didn't have any extra people. That hurts my feeling because THEY called me to take the deal and I gave them all the money they asked for. Maybe because I am a refugee they did that to me. What a DISCRIMINATION! I don't recommend this place.

I had my wedding here recently and was so excited but after the wedding I was wrongfully charged for *extra people* that I didn't have. It seems to be a trend here, even though I had evidence that I didn't have extra people the manager was trying to convince me that and I quote "we gave you a discount and did you a favour by reducing the number of people". The manager here has no sense of professionalism and talked to me anyhow she pleased, cut me off when I spoke. I didn't mind that they barely had my stuff together but it was ridiculous. I would not recommend any future bride to host their wedding here. I have yet to receive refund or an apology nothing.

I attended a Plant Nite at the Burgundy restaurant. The waitresses tending to the event seemed less than impressed to be doing so. However, the cocktails were excellent. The menu is a little lacking but what is available was very good. The space is large and the hotel itself is gorgeous. Overall, a fine experience.

I attended the Face to Face Magic the Gathering tournament at the Radisson a few days ago. The location was easy to access, being just off Sherwood Park freeway. The aesthetics were pleasing to the eye. A few restaurants were available nearby as well as a option inside the location Staff members kept the location tidy and the water stations stocked. The bathrooms were clean, if a little cramped.

I recently stayed at this establishment, and let me tell you my stay was far from pleasant. Beginning with the start of my stay, the staff who were working when I checked in seemed far from pleased to be doing their jobs. I don't expect exceptional earth shattering service, however a simple smile would be nice instead of glaring at patrons who are just trying to check into a room. This should have been my first warning to leave the hotel and find a better one. Alas, I proceeded to checked into my room and was meet with confusion when opening the door. This was not the room I had arranged to stay in online. When I stay in hotels I do not require them to directly resemble the photographs presented online, but the room I stayed in looked a long shot from what I had anticipated. The overall environment was dark and gloomy. The lack of lighting in the rooms and hallways sets a downcast on the overall stay. The bed was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in and the blankets were so scratchy, and unbearable to the point I had to throw them off of the bed. The carpets were stained, and the bathroom was subpar. I do not expect perfection from a 3 star hotel, however for the price that I am paying I at least expect proper lighting semi-comfortable beds, and blankets; the employees don"t even have to be nice. I recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.

Stay was okay… Do not book with a third party! … I have never had any issues with any other Radisson before, and we tend to choose Radisson. This place had our reservations wrong, didn't want to change them even though I showed them the correct reservation from my email. Didn't want to take a cash deposit, hassled my husband who arrived later about getting a key even though I spoke with 3 different people to say that he would be coming later in the evening, and had many other front desk issues. Eventually had to call the manager to get things straightened out. She was great to the guy behind the desk if you are not sure how things work you probably shouldn't be there. "Sorry" is not the best answer for every question!

There was a lot of confusion upon check in. We had credit card authorization forms sent in prior to check in and they could not locate them when we arrived. We had to get them resent which was a hassle for the other party. We were there for a conference which didn't end until Sunday afternoon. I had family with me that was not attending the conference and we were denied a late checkout so they had to wait downstairs. Front desk after midnight on Friday was helpful and pleasant.

Have stayed here over a month with work. During stay, fridge broke, all food spoiled. Light bulb burnt out when arrived and was never fixed. Tap in bathroom keeps falling off. Housekeeping is far less than adequate. Put in requests to have room cleaned multiple times and still not carried out. Management/front desk seems incaple of providing an proper stay to guests staying long periods of time. Will not recommend this hotel to any of my co-workers. Terrible experience.

A pleasant place to lay your head for the night, but doesn't go far beyond that in terms of service, comfort, or any other criteria of more luxurious hotels. Not great or excellent — just a nice place to stay.

Such lovely staff in a very well kept, clean hotel. The food is amazing, I was pleasantly surprised with the great quality for the price. The service was exceptional. This is my new home away from home when I am in Edmonton.

Hotel room was not clean. There was hair in the shower stall from the previous guest. Out of morbid curiosity, I didn't clean it myself or report it to management, but instead left it there to see if they'd clean it the next morning. Over my 3 night stay, they never cleaned it! So at least 4 days in a row without the room being properly cleaned. They managed to make the bed for me, but it's unclear how much else was cleaned. Gross.

Nice staff, clean environment, fresh food and reasonable prices. Buffet to get you in and out quickky or let you sit down and fill up. 5 salads, soup and a variety of sandwiches, full buffet with soup & salad or just a quick, hot bowl of soup, they have a choice to suit your appetite or your wallet or both! Do not forget to tip your wait staff!

My work put me up in this Hotel. It's a nice hotel that has all the amenities, with a massive parking lot. Truth be known, I never thought anything extraordinary or special about this particular place until their General Manager with an Assistant came to my work to deliver lunch just to thank the company for choosing The Radisson. In all my years of travel and hotels this is a first… 5 freaking stars… BABY!

Romms is clean and excellent customer service. The only problem is the bussiness rooms are in the main floor and there is a parking spaces beside your room that create a lot of noise. Breakfast was good and fresh too! Overall really nice hotel though!

Very comfortable beds! Nicely appointed and the in-house restaurant features an all you can eat buffet for $10.50, using real food. The only complaint that would have about this hotel is that their parking is a little difficult to navigate but overall I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

We were using one of the conference rooms for a work event. They were very flexible with arranging the space into a format that worked better for us. All the staff were courteous and helped with all requests. Only reason I took one star off is because the room we were in was cold the whole time.

The staff are AMAZING… whether you are having an event or just needing somewhere to lazy your head at the end of the day! No better place Thank you Happy New Year.

Wow, I walked in and was immediately inspired to start taking pictures. Christmas nativity scenes, awesome decorated tree and fireplace. Every corner of the entrance way made me feel warm and welcome. We were there to attend a New Years Eve event and much to my surprise there was a wedding and 2 other celebrations going on as well. The ambiaunce in the pub, where our event was, makes you feel like you want to celebrate and we did. The pub food was great too. I would highly recommend the Radisson Hotel & Convension Centre to for any event you are planning. Classy place and plenty of parking.

I was staying at the hotel for my 4 year old daughters birthday and had asked them to maybe have a slice of cake in the room for when she arrives — they exceeded all expectations. They had balloons ready for her and a custom made card when we went to the front desk to check in, and then brought out a homemade cake with her name on it and sang to her in the lobby. They made a little girls birthday extra special, and completely made her day. I have shared this experience with everyone I can because this kind of service is so rare. The day manager who organized it, the chef for making the cake, and all the staff for taking time out to sing to her — 10/10!

I was only in the Pub. Service is great. Food is great. Nice atmosphere. They used to have couches in front of a huge fireplace that was cozy and now it is a stage held together by a ratchet straps and duct tape. Like, really? Live music? Really? Why? When? Who? Bands? What bands? Kiss tribute band? Pub 76? Really? K. Hated that. Sat at a crud table by the crud stage like a bad dog. It was gross. Super grodie. The rest was golden.

Great place free hot buffet breakfast. Little further from centre worth the drive.

It's nice. Reasonably priced and cheerful friendly staff. Overall a pleasant experience. I would stay here again anytime. My only complaint is the view out the window is terrible but hey that's not their problem if Edmonton is an ugly hole in the ground! Sorry if I offend any of you Edmontonians. We all have choices. Just my opinion. It is what it is!.

Had a Christmas party here. The room was nice, staff was helpful. Food was good, though the buffet was replenished slowly. To be fair there were 4 or 5 other Christmas parties that night.

I was at the Radisson hotel grand Ball room for a work Christmas party and was very impressed by the venue and staff. Food was good and drinks were reasonable. The only negative to the night was them running out of alcohol for a half an hour at one of the two bars, but a very minor hiccup that they fixed promptly.

I recently had my wedding reception here. The person in charge of coordinating my event was inept and there were mistakes made. If it wasn't for the amazing banquet team we would have been short an entire table and missing spots at other ones. The food was delicious and the banquet staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff were super nice, attentive and helpful. The room was clean and well stocked. Bed was comfy and perfect. Will be staying here again.

Will never be back to this hotel, there was a guy named Ahmed who has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. He couldn’t understand a word I was saying, mistook me saying “I will come SPEAK to you to your face” as “I will spit in your face” and threatened to call the cops while yelling at me on the phone? They need people who can speak and understand English. Not some foreigners with no customer service experience. He is giving this brand a bad name and I feel sorry for the people who hired him. Never waste your money here unless you want to be disrespected by a man who doesnt even understand english.

Beautiful modern rooms. Super comfy beds and pillows. The shower with 3 heads was divine. Finding the rooms can be a challenge so make sure to ask for directions.

Quiet, clean, lots of amenities. Rooms are not huge, but efficient with their space. Breakfast buffet has a good number of options, and service is friendly and helpful.

We booked 2 nights to attend a dog training seminar, deliberately coming the night before so we could enjoy the pool, hot tub, & steam room. The pool, hot tub & steam room were unavailable due to 'maintenance" with a completion date of September 8th; the day we arrived. They weren't available all weekend; 8th, 9th, or 10th. I understand things happen, but… The front desk staff were generally uninformed about when it would be available; asking others or just stating they didn't know. They didn't offer a rebate, complimentary meal, etc… We could have flown in the day of the seminar, and flown out that night if we weren't looking forward to relaxing before hand.
Then there's the restaurant. The first day we enjoyed the buffet; it was later in the lunch period so some of the food was cold; understandable. The waitress, on the other hand, took nearly a half hour to forty five minutes to bring our drinks. She claimed she couldn't get into the liquor cabinet and/or couldn't find the specified alcohol, She could have served my companions, explained the hold up, but they had to wait, too. My friends Caesar was atrocious, too much Tabasco & no Worcestershire sauce. Basics. If you're serving drinks you need to know the basics. Oh, there were, maybe, 5 other people in the restaurant. 5.
Then there were the door cards. Supposedly they are deactivated by being near a cell phone.
We weren't told that until we had to replace them to go up the elevator.

I have attend training/information sessions at this hotel multiple times over the last few years. The hotel always provides top notch service and catering options. One issue is the men's washroom on the south end always seems to be out of service.

Nice, new hotel. Comfy beds, nice little restaurant. Only complaint as a wheelchair user is that their accessible rooms don't have a built in fold down bench. Hotel will provide a little four legged bench, but the fold down benches are much more convenient and you don't have to call the front desk and wait etc, etc.

First time experiencing the Radisson in Edmonton. The people at the front desk were a little slow with the check ins and were not very pleasant. We received a room which would have a washroom that is extremely noisy with a constant squealing noise. Very bothersome.

I am a person don't ever write any complains. But in this case, I sincerely feel mistreated by the night security person and never felt so disappointed on a hotel staff. He is very unprofessional and rude.   I understand it is his job to keep the place in order, however, he does not need to be savage about it. To top it off, the hotel decides to take the words from security and charge us extra money without any consents. No follow up from the hotel managers after we filed multiple complains. If you ever want to get robbed, please feel free to stay at this hotel. I am sure you will get a surprised bill at the end.

Attached a wedding at the ballroom. In terms of goal service, the chefs and good staff were very nice and welcoming. The layout of the tables were well done and place was clean. The outside looked a bit older but inside was nice. The using lot has a word curb with a corner sticking out which dented the car. Although the driver could do their part it was unexpected.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming, prompt and efficient service, pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. Our friends and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, great variety and quite tasty. The location is convenient and easily accessible as well for both arrivals and departures. I recommend this property for future stays.

As far as im concerened it was one of the nicest hotels ive stayed at in Edmonton they upgraded our room to two king beds for no extra charge the rooms where wonderful the staff was very friendly I would definately stay there again next time we are in Edm hands down!

I was staying over night after arriving by plane. It was a little farther away from the airport than I would have liked but thats my works fault. The staff was friendly, the room was nice but the furniture could use an upgrade. It had a lot of scratches and looked older. Went to the bar for some drinks, they were very friendly and the drinks were good.

I stayed in a few hotels with my job and I was pleasantly surprised here. The rooms was an upgraded room, well appointed. The bathroom was large and had a jetted-soaker tub, very nice (which I used nightly). The room was a large King bed, the bed was actually comfortable and the pillows were great too. There was a kitchenette, but it was dark — no direct lighting in the kitchen space. The free bottles of water were a very nice touch. I felt comfortable and would stay here again. Some of the other reviews noted the sound proofing is weak — this is true. Its obviously a wood-frame building, and you can hear other guests showering, walking down the halls, doors slamming. I would not want a room by the elevator or the stairs.

Management and staff are very helpful and accomodating. We're one of Fort Mcmurray evacuees and the management tried the best they can to accomodate us in time when we are very desperate for a place to stay with my family. A discounted rate was also given to us. Hats off Radisson management and staff. Thank you and May God bless you all.

Rooms were nice and comfortable, but the insulation between the floors are awful. If you are in a lower floor you can hear everything. The rooms also did not have a safe in them, which was very strange. Staff are very nice and friendly. The dinner in their cafe is very delicious. The breakfast buffet is mediocre. Overall, our stay was all right.

Best holiday party ever! Staff are courteous, room 140 (1 bed) is gigantic with a living room and smells new. Couldn't ask for more. Especially the smell. Not sure why it smells so damned good but I love it.

My work had its holiday party at the Radisson, and a couple friends and I got a room so we would have a place to get ready and to hang out afterwards. We got one of the premium king rooms, and it was absolutely beautiful! The room was a good size with comfy beds and had a decent kitchenette area (mini fridge, microwave, sink, coffee maker), and the bathroom was large with a nice shower. There's no view with this hotel, unfortunately, so if that's something you need in a hotel maybe avoid. The hotel is in an industrial part of the city overlooking a freeway, and if you're on the first floor (as we were), you get to look out onto staff parking instead. We just kept our curtains closed so no one could look in. We also stopped in at the restaurant for brunch before we left, and it was delicious! Service was a bit slow but the waitress was polite and the food was nice and hot when it came from the kitchen.

Nice and clean facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff that greeted me and asked me if I needed help looking for anything. Superb. Lunch was good too.

Incredible staff from front desk, restaurant to housekeeping. They remember your name which Wows you. Service is superb and very much appreciated. The room layout is great as well. Omg the bed, feels like heaven. You fall asleep before you even know it. Kudos!

Good location for our purposes, checkin had some snags but were quickly worked out, parking somewhat of an issue with lot being full (lol). Room was excellent, well appointed, bathroom was beautiful plus complementary coffee! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

August 29.2015 Estelle Millaud: Radisson Convention centre, We can not thank them enough for all their dedication and hard work on our special day! We were treated like queens, we used them For our Reception & Ceremony. We didn't have to worry about anything! They decorated catered, set up and took down! They were truly an amazing Venue and very reasonable in price. Our guest stated that "it was the best food ever tasted at a wedding" All the staff went the extra mile to make sure our day was perfect including the manager! He came to check Just to make sure our day was going perfect.

If I could leave no stars I would. I stayed at this hotel as my friend had a wedding in their facility. To start the hotel overcharged us. We were told guests had an 109$ rate. We were charged 180$. When we complained the day of we were told 140$. Better but not good enough. The day of the wedding we were getting ready in the honeymoon suite and when I ran back to my room to grab something I found housekeeping cleaning our room. When I asked why she was there she said she thought the room was empty. Completely ignoring a wedding dress hanging from the window, our luggage on the bed and all our random personal items still in the bathroom and around the room. I asked her to leave and she argued with me. I went downstairs to ask the manager why there was someone cleaning our room when we had a late check out and he was confused as to why I was upset. Apparently cleaning a room before a guest checks out is par the course. I had to explain that the room would not be clean if I take a shower, jump in the bed, or lick the cups of my heart desired. I don't understand what was so hard to understand. A room being marked cleaned before being vacated is not okay. He said he'd talk to the staff. That was it. All I can think is that if this is the way they conduct their cleaning then this hotel is far from hygienic or clean.

Attention to all brides out there: DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR WEDDING. Myself and my fiancee are both fairly laid-back professional people. We rarely complain about things and are quite easy to please. That is why you can trust that my review is based on the truth! We started looking for a venue for our September 2015 wedding in July of this year. Throughout my conversations with this hotel I spoke to at least 5 different event coordinators. Every time I called, the previous person had quit and a new person was in the role. This meant that the service was very inconsistent and not trustworthy at all! However, we finally met with Maggie and she, by making several promises, convinced us to book our wedding with them. At that time we completed a contract which was explained to us as being ONLY for the rental of the ballroom. She explained that the arrangements for food, guest rooms etc. Would be made closer to the actual event. She also promised us that, because we were booking so early, she would guarantee the 2014 rates for our menu and that she would give us a complimentary guest room on the night of the wedding. We paid a $1000 deposit and left happy, thinking everything was good. Now the nightmare starts! A couple of days ago I was booking linen rentals etc. For our big day. I wanted to find out when we would be able to decorate the space so I emailed Maggie to find out.

The hotel staff is the most incompetent staff I've ever experienced. I booked this room for my wedding night and the night prior. I had booked it many months in advance, and Had to call several times to confirm it was still reserved because some staff couldn't even find my name in the system. Upon my arrival I had asked for 2 cots for my bridesmaids. They didn't show up and when they did they tried to charge me for them (even though I was paying $450 for my room) In the AM I had called to have the cots removed from my room so that there would be room to get ready for the wedding. These cots were never removed so I had to wheel them out into the hallways where they proceeded to stay (they were still there when I returned from my wedding that night. ) when I returned I noticed that there was no toilet paper. I called front desk where I was told "I'll see what I can do because I'm the only one working" this is the kind of response I got for everything, no toilet paper was ever brought up. I should have wiped my ass with their towels, but unlike them, I have respect. My new husband and I decided to use the jacuzzi tub. It worked very poorly! I was also awoken many times throughout the night by the ice machine which sounded like a jack hammer coming through my room. When I mentioned this the staff simply said "hahah yeah lots complain about it.

I just called this hotel and got hunged up on; I wasn't sure, so I called a second time anf this time I heard someone pick up and hung up. Very disgusted by the service. I guess I will be taking my money else where.

Nice place to stay, kind service.

A friend and I stayed here a few weeks ago. The room was very spacious, modern, nice and clean. The king size bed was very comfy. All in all, the amenities at this hotel were very nice; this is probably the best hotel I've stayed at in Edmonton before. The only downside was needing a ticket for breakfast, but aside from that, I really can't complain.

I went on a roadtrip with my partner and this was the first location, we arrived at 7AM in Edmonton and thought, there was no way in hell we're going to be able to check in. But the front desk absolutely did let us check in (lucky I suppose), gave us breakfast tickets for that morning as well as the next morning, and was extremely friendly. The room itself is very very clean, room is modern, well decorated and comfortable! The price was fair considering we went during high-season! Definitely recommend.
