It is convenient to access go shopping, buy grocery ect. Nice pool with water slide too.

Comforters were visibly dirty. They were even crusty so they had obviously NOT been washed between stays. I told the front desk we had dirty blankets and they said they didn’t have any more and offered us thin fleece blankets instead. Counters were sticky I had to wipe everything down when we arrived. Bath tub was also dirty. See pics. Would not recommend.

We arrived from Saskatchewan of what should have been approx 8 hrs but with 5 kids it tends to be longer. We checked in they were very professional and understanding. We had a mix up with rooms and were happy to get us in adjoining rooms which suits our family size! I am absolutely impressed with the excellent customer service! the rooms are spacious and beds are comfy! im glad we are here!

I would like to commend Nour at the at the Front Desk for being so accommodating and welcoming. This is our first time here in Edmonton and we feel so special for the services that we had.

The rooms are very clean. The beds are very comfy and adorned with duvets. Awesome staff. A wonderful breakfast buffet incl in the cost of your room. Cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage, make your own fresh waffles, fresh fruits, sweet & savory bakery goods, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt. This is top of the line offerings for a hotel. A really good addition would be in-room safes rather than just the front desk one. I have to try out that swimming pool. I enter my room and it feels like Home.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield. The hotel is quite new and well maintained. We had no concerns with room cleanliness and the bed was very comfortable. The only negatives were that the hvac system cuts in and out all night with no setting to keep the fan running constantly and the pool was quite cold. Breakfast was pretty good and they have gluten free options for those that require it… on request.

The hotel located in the North of the city is in a quiet little area that guarantees a retreat from the bust life of the city of Edmonton. The room I had was very functional and provided all I needed for my 4 nights stay. The service was remarkable and the hotel staff were both knowledgeable of the amenities and very politely helpful. The hotel is either new or just went through some major renovations that makes it modern and chic. The breakfast isn't bad either as it provides the morning fixes we all need to start our day. The gym is a standard hotel gym and the pool is a standard pool. Don't expect to do Olympics type swimming at the pool or a full circuit workout at the gym. Conclusion, I had a great stay and have no complaints.

This hotel is I believe 2 years old. The room we had where the air conditioner unit was the wall was torn apart the swimming pool you always had to ask for towels it wasnt there for you. But other than that everything was great. The complimentary breakfast was good, housekeeping was great. Our kids loved the slide.

Great Newer Hotel which is in walking distance to many good restaurants. Clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The location was great for us. Near since good food and coffee places and within driving distance to good shopping. My boys also LOVED the waterslide, though I wished there had been a hot tub. The hotel was older though and the room size was just okay. A tiny fridge and microwave.

Decent Hotel. Kids loved the pool. Near lots of shopping/restaurants. Close to main roads to get to places. Starting to feel a little old but good anyway.

Everything was what we expected. No hot tub in the pool area. The room cleaning was terrible so I cleaned up and she took my tip.

Excellent place for a competitive price. Rooms are modern and nicely appointed. Complimentary breakfast is mediocre like all of them. Would definitely make this a place to stay again.

Location was great, central to many things. The service was great, standard breakfast fare. We received a complimentary upgrade to our room, so that was obviously very nice.

Staff were helpful with any questions and requests we had for our 2 night stay, rooms were nice, good sound separation between them. Good location if you're doing things in the north side, will likely stay again.

Usually excellent, check for sports teams on some floors and maybe ask for quiet location or not. Polite, go out of their way to resolve any issue, have clean, nice facilities.

Staff is very attentive, rooms were modern and clean. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety. The hotel is apart of a new development which has multiple restaurants and shopping with in walking distance. I would recommend if you are needing stay in north Edmonton.

Our meeting room was double booked last night. Had to have our session in their breakfast nook. No privacy and loud workers ended up sitting by us. Otherwise a nice clean hotel.

For the level of hotel it is, it was really awesome. Enjoyed the pool and free breakfast was enjoyed every day of our stay. Room was well arranged and nicely decorated. Tub was nice for my large frame.

The hotel was very nice and is quite new. The room, a double Queen on the 4th floor, was large. There was no bathtub in our room, just a shower. The beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast was excellent. The staff was awesome. Wish there was a hot tub in the pool area.

One of the best 2.5-3 star hotel, 1) new total, opened in 2017 2) clean room and comfy bed. 3) really good free breakfast. 4) good swimming pool with water slide. 5) friend ly and helpful staff.

Staying for 11 nights. Reception is awesome and so is complimentary breakfast. Clean rooms, very new and kept up. Single issue is having to log into the internet every 24 hours instead of the whole length of my stay.

This is a very good hotel with a lot of amenities. They have good fitness room with good view facing the swimming pool. They also have a centre where you can use the computer and print. A very good initiative if you need to urgently print something. They also have a good range of breakfast options. The hotel is highly recommended.

Great hotel. One of the nicest in the area. They have a particularly good selection of hot breakfast items. It's still reheated, pre-made food typical of this type of "free hot breakfast" hotel, but instead of having one egg item and one meat item, plus make-them-yourself waffles, they had 2 of each, plus waffles. The rooms are nice, and the beds comfortable. A little disappointing that they don't have a hot tub, nor exercise bike in the fitness center.

I travel to Edmonton every second week for work. Staying here, is a great location, the rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly. Larryann always remembers me and checks me in with no complications. It makes me feel right at home. I recommend staying here.

It's a fantastic location, right next to the Northgate center, which is full of places to go shopping. I didn't stay overnight, but my in laws did. The pool is small, but very nice, and has a fantastic water slide. The room they were staying in was beautiful. It had two TVs, for some reason, and both were new looking. The bed looked big and comfy, and the bathroom was more spacious than I expected. Good looking hotel. No clue how expensive it is, but it looked like a well maintained medium cost room.

The staff we encountered were polite. The decor of the hotel was bright and colorful with a nice retro but modern style. Our room was a great size for the price we paid. In many hotels I'm turned off by the smell of the provided soap and shampoos but this place has a nice fresh citrus scent which I really liked. I'd definitely look for another Fairfield the next time we need a hotel.

I was very happy with this hotel. The beds are so comfortable that I slept like a baby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating for the most part. The free hot breakfast was not bad either. They actually had a gluten free option of a bread and a bagel which was nice. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the housekeeper didn't clean the room at all, she only emptied the garbage and replaced the towels. This is not what I have ever experienced at other hotels, but I'm sure if I had complained they would have done something about it. Just as an FYI they will put your room charges through (on the credit card you give them at the beginning of your stay) very early on your checkout day, which is nice if you just want to leave without the hassle that day, but if you plan to pay by another means it is probably better to pay the night before. These things were not a big issue for me but they may be for some so I thought I would mention them. Honestly though, I would not hesitate to stay there again because overall the experience was very positive.

We stayed here for a week while our house was under construction. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous and went above and beyond. The pool was great, the breakfast was fantastic, with tons of variety and hot choices, and the bed was very comfortable! Best hotel we've stayed in by far! Our experience was wonderful and helped to take away some of the stress of not being able to be in our home with a three month old.

Visited with my daughter, we had such an amazing stay. Everyone was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed the free daily breakfast to energize us for a long day of adventuring (sunsets after 10pm in Summer). We also enjoyed the pool slide and fitness center. Computers were handy for doing city research and printing what we needed. Hotel is conveniently located across the street of a major bus stop (Northgate) and also across the street is Northgate center with Walmart, Safeway, a food court, and more. We faced the main highway and got to see the sunrise.

This hotel is lovely. It is brand new and fresh and very nice decor. The room we stayed in had a King size bed and a large shower. Again, the room was lovely and so was the pool and dining area they had. However, when we called in advance to see if there were any rooms, we were told yes. When we showed up an hour later to reserve the room, the gentleman at the front desk tried to tell us he was fully booked. I called him out on it and he said if you tell me the number you called from, I will try and get you the room. We did end up being able to book because of that, but it was rather disappointing because it seemed they didn't want to book anymore people for some reason. Other than that little issue, everything else was great, the concierge at the desk was a pleasant guy who joked and laughed with us, and I would come back to this hotel for sure. Remember to make reservations before hand so they don't give you any trouble!

Beautiful brand new facility minutes away from a conference I was hosting. Staff were friendly and each delegate who stayed there had nothing but great things to say about the rooms, staff and environment.

Unfortunately I was too late to be at this location to fix the clog toilet in room 220 today. I was just in a hurry and had to catch a flight and missed the opportunity of staying back and fixing the toilet myself as I was provided with plunger by the exceptional front desk staff. Please let me know inadvance if there is anything else broken and next time I ll keep all my tools in the car. You folks know I am a Marriot gold member so pretty easy to get a hold of me in case you need something fixed next time. I missed out the opportunity to take a dump at ur place and had to utilize airport facility but no worries! Please let me know if you also need to train your cleaning crew for next time. I ll be very obliged to provide my services.

Clean, modern rooms. Great breakfast. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

Everything is still very new. The rooms are comfy and good for sleeping. The have a large enclosed closet and the pool and slides work good.

It is brand new and was very nice. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The rooms are a little small and the breakfast was limited bit it was free to it was more than continental. I would stay again.

I have stayed at a few Farfield hotels in different cities and I find that they are always consistent with comfortable mattresses and quieter rooms. The staff at this particular location were really friendly, always greeting you when entering the hotel, and they did their best to accomodate our needs when we needed to extend our stay. Best of all, there are lots of options for breakfast.

For the price is better in the north of Edmonton.
