At a Xmas party and was great service ahd food was sooo good! Great atmosphere!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Do not recommend. positives: front desk friendly efficient check in, cookies, brunch food was good negatives: headboards are ripped, bed skirt had a giant stain on it, looked disgusting, brunch dining room was disgusting. Tables were not cleared, dirty dishes piled everywhere, staff said they were short staffed but they didn't bother to clear any tables unless someone needed seating. Even the bar was piled up with dirty dishes. Absolutely gross, unappetizing not to mention unhygienic. If this is how it's always done then I'd hate to be there in the summer when the flies find their way in. Short staffed? MAKE IT WORK. Grab a bin and clear a table when you walk by it instead of pulling more dishes on it. Then we heard a staff ask another staff to please pronounce her name correctly, and she scoffed at her and then complained to some customers about it loud enough for others to hear. Super Unprofessional Place.

This was my first stay at the Double tree but definitely not my last. Great service, comfortable bed, the restaurant was great! I would definitely recommend!

I have started staying here for my 3 visits love the location and restaurant downstairs is great. The staff are awesome next time you want to visit Edmonton you should stay here and close to the mall.

Stayed for 4 night on business for my husband. I spent the time doing my own studies. The customer services was amazing. The food was very delicious from the buffet and menu. Not one for French fries but the ones here I couldn't stop eating. They were cooked to perfection. The girls are so friendly and make you feel at home and welcome. Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with outstanding customer service. Upgraded from the bar to the rooms. Used to be a local place called the Mayfield, but after a few years of makeover, this place is up to date and very good for the business traveler looking for a spot in the West end. Staff is great. Very friendly and attentive. Stayed here several times now and is my "go to" when in Edmonton.

Very nice lunch buffet. Chicken, fish, or veggie dumplings for entree. Alberta: Where's the Beef? Mashed potatoes or rice along with a decent selection of salad, cold cuts and desert. I liked the Egyptian-Style Bread Pudding! Will definitely be back.

Great stay. My only critic is you guys should have plain chocolate chip cookies as well as my husband is allergic to nuts. But not a big deal. We were only gonna stay 3 nights but decided we wanted to stay an extra night and it was no problem for them. They accommodated us. We will stay here again when we come back to Edmonton for sure. Pretty solid hotel. Clean, staff are friendly and rooms are a good size. They also give you a warm chocolate chip cookie when you check in, and those are delicious. I ate dinner at the restaurant, and it was surprisingly solid. Big menu, and the pizzas in particular were good. I've also had the buffet breakfast, which isn't bad. Last time they also allowed me to get the breakfast takeout which is great when you've got to get going. Overall, this is definitely the place I'll stay for work when I visit the city, has everything I need.

Recently stayed here and loved everything about the experience. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable! The front reception was always helpful and friendly with requests. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food. One staff in particular, Lyn, was so lovely and helpful in the buffet. The staff really do try to ensure you have a great stay.

Nice conference rooms, excellent "all day" spread for snacks and the lunch buffet was equally impressive. They have healthy and not so healthy options. Conference rooms had all necessary supplies.

The property is well looked after. It is one of my favorite suite hotels in the city. Great food at the restaurant. Staff are extra helpful and polite. Great location for those who have trouble navigating the city. You'll feel proud to stay in this facility. The dinner theatre is always awesome. The complimentary buffet breakfast is one of the best in the city The unfortunate downfall is the lack of a hot tub. All in all a really great facility. I would reccomend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic place! The food delicious, and all the details made accomplished by the staff. Indeed, only one thing required improvement — the audiovisual system has undergone some difficulties, very frustrating for the presenters. Otherwise, perfect.

This is a fantastic hotel. Rooms are beautiful and the amenities are good. But what sets this place apart is the service. Front desk. Restaurant. Housekeeping. Bar. Everyone you encounter goes above and beyond.

The morning buffet has a great selection. I really like the pre done smoothies and yogurt parfaits, spicy baked beans, and smoked salmon. The gym is well equipped with quality cardio machines and a full free weight set. The TV has a good selection of on demand offerings. There was a problem with my room so I didn't get the king bed I'd reserved, and the style of the rooms is quite dated. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will be back!

Nice hotel, was packed when we stayed. Staff was nice, pool is too small, big gym, and the buffet breakfast was not that great. Overall a good location, close to many locations, and the rooms are very large. Watched a couple hockey games at the bar, they make a mean Caesar. Probably will stay at another hotel when we go again.

This is a great hotel. The staff are nice, friendly, and ready to help you. The room we stayed in was clean, and it was cleaned everyday for the 4 nights we spent here. From our room, we enjoyed aerial views of West Edmonton. There's a nice swimming pool here too. There's a restuarnt too: great breakfast buffet. I loved the security here as well: without your room key, you can't use the elevators. Great!

We went for a company function, the food was very good and the service was excellent. Tabish was one of our servers and he did an amazing job. We ended up spending the night in a one bedroom suite, the room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I went to this hotel to visit some friends who were staying there. I was quite impressed with the room quality and layout. The king suite they were staying in was very nice and comfortable. The reception area and amenities were well kept and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

Attended a 3-day conference at the hotel for work. I'll start with the food. Meals were catered by the hotel. 2/3 breakfasts were very good, but the first day was disappointing. Lunch was good but they did not prepare enough of some items and ran out. For example, they ran out of roast beef before even half the attendees ate. The conference rooms themselves were good, other than the fact that they didn't always close the walls. Some sessions were quite loud and without a barrier it was distracting. Can't speak to the rooms as I didn't stay the night. Overall a decent venue, with a few hiccups.

Used to stay here when it was the Mayfield. Then the rates went way up so I stayed at a few different hotels. When I was looking for accommodations this time, they had a reasonable rate so I came back. I was in the old tower and the room was nicely redone. If I find another good rate in future I'll be back. I do miss the old bar that used to be there though. The new lounge is nice, but too quiet.

Overall great stay staff were friendly however our room was extremely warm the only option to cool down the room was to turn down the thermostat however being on the 4th floor it didn't help much no option for AC made for an uncomfortable night with no sleep. Only other issue was the breakfast buffet scrambled eggs tasted like fish but had plenty more options to choose from great selections. I would stay here again but would inquire certainly about AC.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had originally booked standard 2 Queen room, but upon check-in the room was not available. They quickly offered to upgrade us to a King Suite an no additional charge. The room was large, very comfortable with a great view from the main room and the bedroom. There was a good amount of artwork, all local photography. We also had two large screen TV'S, one in each room. The washroom was large. With a walk-in shower. All the services were great with very helpful and friendly staff. We didn't try the room service but the food in the restaurant was top notch.

I have stayed at a number of hotels in West Edmonton over the past few years and the DoubleTree was one of the best. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the Henday and West Ed. And easy access to downtown. The staff was friendly, the room was modern, clean and comfortable, and the pool and fitness centre were open 24/7. The buffet breakfast at the hotel restaurant was excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for the weekend and it was great! Starting us off with a warm cookie at check in and add to that getting a complimentary breakfast were great touches. The breakfast buffet was amazing and all the staff were really good! Nice pool too!

I stayed in a suite in tower 2. The room was very nice and had plenty of room. I would definitely book the same room traveling with our kids as the room was double the size of the standard two queen room. The room was clean, had a very nice bathroom / shower.

Friendly staff. Nice open atmosphere when you walk in. Hotel check in on the left and lounge on the right. Decent hall for group parties. No signage so you kinda get lost trying to find places you're going to.

Our stay was ok; room was nice, pool was nice and food at Stages bar and grill was good. It was the little things that surprised me and some of the overall planning of the hotel were "off". Our room had a pull out bed but when it was down… the mini fridge wouldn't open (and the cabinet the fridge was in could have easily been 6 inches smaller) … — nice pool and fitness center but no hot tub — no vending machines on the floors so impossible to just pop outside for a pop, had to walk down to front desk. So just little things that showed a lack of planning and real consideration of the guest experience.

Group of 7 for breakfast buffet. Excellent selection and tasty. Good service. Employee who confirmed reservation told us buffet open until 11:30. When we got there we were told 11:00. I explained the misinformation to them. They were very helpful and concerned, gave a discount, and kept buffet open until 11:15. Excellent handling of the situation — more than I expected! Will be back.

Great for meetings and conferences! Very clean. The silver-birch meeting area is better then most other hotels the meeting room chairs are comfy plus the full cafe and mini snacks are A+. I’m here frequently but not much for hotel stays as I am a local but just had a 3 day conference in the palisades big ballroom the food was great and the staff are always friendly through out the property.

I always stay at a Hilton when I travel. This one is local for me so I haven't stayed overnight. I do attend many Real Estate Investment conferences here. The staff, food, & atmosphere are fantastic. The only improvement I can suggest is making gluten free options more available.

Nice rooms and good service. The breakfast buffet was decent but $20. Most things were priced on the high side.

I had some meetings while staying at the hotel. I am impressed with this place. Food was excellent. Staff very very nice. Rooms clean and the shower was the way it should be. I would stay here again without question.

Went to the hotel for a conference. Nice looking lobby with friendly staff that helped us find our way. We were fed two meals, both breakfast and lunch were excellent, buffet style. Many gluten free options (many of my coworkers are celiac). The hall we were in was well lit and warm. The sound was good and tables were spaced nicely. Water at all the tables that were constantly full.

Great place amazing staff and the food was extrodinary. Quiet and comfortable rooms. We will definitely return to this hotel again. Thank you for an amazing stay.

I have found, having just attended a business and education meeting, that this hotel is wonderful. Salt water pool, unique and wonderful food… and you guys… they have a signature cookie that is sever to you WARM from behind the front desk! Simply things like that make the experience so happy! Decent gym facility, and really wonderful staff! I'd recommend you stay if you are looking for good quality and have a moderate amount of spending money. The prices are not too bad for what is offered.

Clean room, friendly staff and decent bed. Enjoyed the pool however I wish there was a hot tub. Good breakfast buffet, fair bit to choose from and the quality was pretty good compared to other reasonably priced hotels. The free cookie thing was cool but It contained walnuts which I have a severe allergy to so we didn't get to try them. Over all a decent stay, especially if you want to do some shopping at West Ed or see a show at the Mayfield.

Recently stayed for my daughters dance competition, the service and breakfast was fairly good for the first day, after that breakfast was cold and the muffin my sister in law had was hard and cold. The dinner buffet was it great, more gluten and dairy free options would be great. The pizza was cold and stuck to the bottom of the pan. The cookies were also cold. The "deep" end of the pool was really not deep at all and it had a weird green film almost. Over all the rooms were pretty nice and the beds were comfortable. The only thing is if your going to have a two bedroom suite, I suggest you put in a second bathroom as it is very hard to share a bathroom with 4 people all trying to do their makeup in the morning.

A warm cookie to start your stay is always a nice thing. Pleasant helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds make it a go to for us when we are in town.

Was here for a wedding. The rooms were clean and the location is good, but not too convenient. Great if you are here for a function. Breakfast buffet was good, but the service was mediocre.

Above average property, good sized clean mini suite rooms, new spacious open lobby/bar/ dining area. Very good pay breakfast buffet. All good. The facilities met all expectations, but the staff exceeded them. I had a small problem with a room and requested a room change. Front desk person Maria took care of this for me quickly, efficiently and with a great attitude. She took the time to check back with me to make sure I was happy with the change. If I was the hotel manager I would give her a raise. She exemplifies and defines customer service. There are many, many hotels, it's the people that make the difference.

Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Lots of amenities, beautiful bathroom. The hotel restaurant is delicious. The problems I have with the hotel are that there's no laundromat, there's nothing to do in the area for extended stays and the Internet is temperamental and doesn't work properly with gaming consoles.

This hotel was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed at. Included with the reasonable price is a real breakfast buffet. Not muffins and dry eggs, but hit and fresh selections. Option to have an omelette made to order. It's convenient to WEM. The Mayfair Theatre is in the same building. Ample parking.

This hotel has always been professional and accommodating for our work sessions. Nicole in sales is fabulous. Our staff are always extremely happy with the accommodations and the service they receive. I would definitely book here again.

This is one of my favourite places to stay in Edmonton, certainly when I am on the West end. The rooms are clean and quiet and I always find the service to be amazing. The fitness center is also very nice.

I'm always pleased with my stay here. The front desk staff are inedible and rooms are always clean. The exercise room is one of the best and I try to stay here when I am on the west side of the city.

It was clean. There was no hot tub, only a pool. Paid 149 a night. I won't stay here again.

It is a great hotel. Newly renovated in the last few years. The location is 5 minutes away from west Edmonton mall. The people at the front desk are very good. And the Hilton cookie is amazing. They have a nice restaurant. They also have a dinner theatre attached to it called Mayfield dinner theatre. They have a nice pool. But no hot tube which is disappointing. The room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Overall the stay was very good.

I attended a wedding in their conference center. The staff were very kind and we're available to help. The place was tidy and the staff kept the appearance up throughout the night. No complaints!

Were to start. We booked our 6 day stay total cost $1037.00. When we arrived I asked the lady if she was charging anything to my credit card she told me no. The next day I looked at my credit card and there was a charge for $1192.94. I spoke to a different lady she explained it was my room charge plus some extra if we charge anything to the room. The very next day another charge was posted for $890.38 I went to front desk again and by this time was dealing with the manager who decided to up grade us to a bigger room great but that isnt good enough when charges keeping being put on my credit card. So the next day 3 more charges 2 for $25.93 and 1 for $62.53. Our hotel stay was only suppose to cost $1037.00 total charged to my card was $2197.71. The manage said he tried to call my credit card to have the funds put back on but nothing we are still waiting and has been 3 days now. Regardless that he did up grade us it is total bull shit that all of these charges are on there. Nothing should be posted to your credit card till you check out and you give them the ok to charge your card. And for this reason I would tell anyone who is thinking about staying with this hotel make sure you check your card everyday or better yet there is a lot of other hotels around edmonton that treat you better. Choice hotels are really good ones. So to me the hiltons can take their hotel chain and shove it. I will never stay in a hilton hotel again.

Amazing the view in the suites are great and it's not far from the West Edmonton Mall Teeen Ota Teeen.

Excellent for seminars and work functions. This place doesn't even seem I've the same building as it was back in the day! Very functional layout and ability to host a lot of people. Staff are incredible and friendly.
