Rema Resort

Nice place to stay at! Location was good, just a short drive away from Tiger's Nest Hike, the airport, Paro main shopping street which was very convenient, staff were all very friendly and helpful as well and food was great!
They also have a hot stone bath and massage that you can do but do book in advance and refer to the menu to see what kind of massage you would prefer!
Beautiful views of Paro as well, definitely missing this place!

Nice hotel overlooking Paro river & Paro valley. Rooms are small but decent, clean with all basic amenities, service was top notch. Nice view from the room, relaxing atmosphere. Food was great. Staffs were very nice and attentive. My kids enjoyed the stay. Value for money. Recommended.

Excellent place to stay in Paro. It's just outside the center but walkable, on opposite side of river. Quiet river road is great for walking or running. Beautiful terrace here sets main rooms building back from lower reception and restaurant. Excellent food. Comfortable and large, modern rooms, though radiator struggled to warm whole room at night. Great shower with ample hot water from room's own tank. I didn't use spa services, but friends gave massages top marks.

Rema resort in Paro was the best hotel we stayed in Bhutan.
Rooms: Spacious, clean, well maintained and equipped with all the amenities.
Food: Delicious food if you order in but breakfast buffet could have been better but never mind I don't eat breakfast 😄
Service: very good service, hard working women picking out bags in and out. Very helpful front desk to book cabs for you to town at 200 Ngultrum.
Location: Very good location, couple of km from the town and very good view of mountain and river.
Overall highly recommended and value for money.

Good experience overall and good value for money. Breakfast has medium level of variety, not too less nor too big.
Staff is super friendly. Restaurant food is decent. However they close by 9PM, as per our visit in Dec 2025.
We also tried their SPA where we had a very good experience with Hot Stone bath and Gaki massage.
Overall a good 3 star hotel getting all of the basics covered.

Room was clean, spacious and relatively new. We were just there in early Dec/winter for 2 nights. So it was cold and the heater did not seem sufficient to heat up whole room and it turned off automatically in the middle of night. My friend woke up in the middle of the night to put on more clothes.
The 2-star service rating was because our room was not made after the first night. Water and towels not replenish. Perhaps its because we did not tip the girls who helped with the lugguage when we check-in (no change). One girl gave us a black face even during dinner.
Location was on higher ground with a good view of the valley. But it was far from the city.

We stayed October 1st and 2nd, rooms were very clean and nice, outer view was great, food and service was not so great.

Great 3-night stay. Within walking distance to Paro, this hotel is quiet and peaceful. The rooms are lovely, with the balcony overlooking the Paro valley and the river. The staff is very helpful, the food excellent (great fresh vegetables and salads safe to eat! ), and the atmosphere wonderful. The massage and facial I had today were so enjoyable. It has been a wonderful experience.

Everything about this place screams five stars. The staff, the rooms, the location, the food, the vibe. Even the owner who makes a point of touching base personally with everyone to make sure you're doing well.
They grow much of their vegetables on the grounds. They have a full bar. Beautiful view from the rooms.
The only, but crucial, detail that for me significantly detracted from the overall experience was the miserable Wi-Fi situation.
In a country where it's impossible to use your own cell service (as I have in every other country in the world so far) and close to impossible to find an esim provider outside the airport, good Wi-Fi is imperative. This especially so coming to the hotel from several days in the mountains with work and family to catch up with.

The cottages are amazing, cozy and comfortable. Thus is my second stay and it never disappoints. I look forward to staying there again. Have beautiful memories with my friends. The food was great, the service was excellent and the rooms are wonderful. Definitely recommend this place, great value for money.

Absolutely loved my stay at Rema Resort Paro! The staff were super friendly, and I have to give a special shoutout to Tsering, the masseuse—she was so welcoming and gave an amazing massage. Hot stone baths are a must try too.
The food here was fantastic. I didn’t even bother going into town to eat because every meal at the resort was so good. My deluxe cottage was really comfortable, spacious, and clean. There were a couple of bugs, but nothing that was a big deal.
Overall, I highly recommend Rema Resort. Great food, lovely people, and a super relaxing vibe. Short walk into town along the river, or an easy taxi ride if feeling lazy. Would definitely come back!

We stayed in a family villa, which was exceptionally spacious, tastefully furnished, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable stay. The sense of space and privacy was ideal for a family of four.
We were especially impressed by the responsiveness of both the housekeeping and restaurant teams, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The Housekeeping Supervisor in particular ensured our villa remained spotless and attended to with outstanding care.

Best part they are having their own organic garden in which they are growing all diff types of vegetable and fruits which are being served in the restaurant.

Really great stay here, we were very pleasantly surprised. Staff are super nice, food is usually buffet but tastes great, they have a la carte oprion too. Breakfast was good every day — we stayed 3 nights.
Location is away from town, 15 to 29 mins walk but as a result it's super peaceful.
We had a lovely room, 314, very quiet and comfy.

Well appointed rooms with good heating as it can be chilly in April at a height of 2300 meters. Excellent bar with a knowledgeable bar tender. A buffet meal appears to be standard in most of the hotels patronised by groups in Bhutan but the choice was varied and appetising.
A walk into Paro is highly recommended. Despite having the only airport in the country it has the size and ambiance of Scottish country town.
Our tour was structured round a day at the Paro Spring festival. An authentic and joyous occasion with brightly coloured costumes and intricate dances. Although there were other tourists present this was a spectacle aimed primarily for locals. If you are able to attend in the future I wholeheartedly recommend it.
