Janka Resort

Hotel is good for nature lover… But in room you can smell a wooden vibe. But the location is discomfort that you can not explore anything except nature…
When you need something you have to go to town… And its very struggle to go town repeatedly… and the behaviour of day staff is not good… Very rude behave they do so this hotel Doesn't deserve 3 star.

We spent three wonderful days at Janka Resort, and our stay was truly delightful. Thanks to the owner of Mountain Travel Bliss, who was also our travel agent, we were graciously upgraded to a spacious suite room since it was available. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering both comfort and elegance. The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking (photos uploaded), making every moment memorable.
The property itself is expansive and beautifully maintained, featuring a swimming pool and a relaxing Jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding. While the room lighting could be slightly improved, it hardly overshadowed the overall fantastic experience. The food was delicious and added to the charm of our stay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

It’s a budget resort which focuses on keeping things simple and getting them right. Well located just a few mins drive from Paro downtown. Very decent sized rooms which are well maintained and clean. The food and service was great as well. Would definitely recommend this.

The hotel is situated amongst the paddy fields so we had breakfast with astounding views of the Paro valley. The garden surrounding the cottages were absolutely beautiful. You can go for a walk on the paddy fields behind the hotel. The breakfast had limited choice (due to our off season visit) but edible. The cottages interior, bed and toilet was good quality, except for the very loud creaking floors. Thankfully our neighbours couldn’t hear it, and we couldn’t hear there conversations so the noise levels were good. The downside is we had 2 flies buzzing in the room but we didn’t mind due to the remoteness of the area and locked the fillies in the toilet when we sleep. We had buffet dinner arranged for our large group one night and the food was delicious. All staff were polite and helpful with good understanding of plain English 🤗

The hotel exterior and gardens are beautiful, and we found the room to be clean, spacious and well-heated. The staff were very courteous and considerate. Each evening we arrived back to a warm room (the staff having turned on our radiators). The food was simple and catered to any palette (myself as a westerner).

Family hotel with kind, helpful, efficient and attentive staff. They capture the calm of the nation and I recommend this place to everyone. I stayed for business and stayed on for leisure. Great access to the airport, Paro, Tigers nest and other sites. The food is also great.
