Cayo Hotels

We had a wonderful experience at Sleeping Lodge. The property is huge and really well maintained. Walking through the trees and flowers day and night was such a magical experience.

We had such a great time there for our honeymoon! Everybody was so nice especially Will, Kenya, Jack, Josh, Em and the girls at the front desk. They went above and beyond to make our trip memorable!

We came to San Ignacio Resort specifically for its variety of Mayan cultural experiences they offer on site.

We stayed in the Regal Queen room — quaint, spacious, very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. A welcome drink at check-in set the tone, and the on-site restaurant gave us several great meals.

What a special place! A beautiful spot with the most wonderful staff. Great adventures to ATM cave and Tikal also horse back riding, canoeing nature walks and an absolutely fabulous massage.

Chaa Creek is AMAZING! Incredible staff took care of us, from planning our excersions (WOW! ) to delicious food served with joy!

I recently stayed at Gaia River Lodge in Mountain Pine Ridge, and it was nothing short of amazing from start to finish.

We had an incredible stay at Gaia Riverlodge. The property is serene, beautiful, and feels completely immersed in nature.

What a great place. Personal service everyday from the owner arranging tours and trips to meet our needs. Comfortable accommodation with ac. Lovely bird feeders all around dining bar area.

Crystal Paradise is a heavenly place that lives up to its name.

The Mahogany Hall was an absolute gem for my family of 10. We booked this resort on Airbnb and had the whole thing to ourselves.

We had the best stay at Mahogany Hall!

Very nice lodge. The owner is super friendly, homemade breakfast every day. Perfect lodge to be in nature and to explore nearby spots. After a long day you can enjoy the small pool.

Lovely family Run inn — atmospheric tree houses & 🏡 tiny houses around a really beautiful garden.

We had a great two-night stay at the River Park Inn in San Ignacio while transiting through Belize on our way to Guatemala from Mexico.

The River Park Inn is an excellent stay for when you’re in town, and especially when you’re looking for a little peace and quiet. You’ll be surrounded by trees and a nature-like vibe.

I chose an inclusive tour package specifically so I didn't have to worry about logistics. I wanted to relax and enjoy the trip. I got to do exactly that.

Our stay at Cahal Pech Resort was absolutely fabulous! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and had a wonderful experience.

We had a very comfortable room with nice beds. The host is extremely friendly and kind. The way we booked it there was no breakfast but we found some excellent cafes in town.

Absolutely loved our stay at GM Suites. Super clean and comfy! Very safe/quiet location.
Wish we would have been able to spend more time here!

Great place to stay in San Ignacio. The staff is very kind, helpful, and attentive to whatever you need and can help you book tours in the area. The restaurant is also SO GOOD!

Just beautiful. We had a room below the restaurant but could still over look the city. Pool is beautiful and amazing. Staff was wonderful!

Amazing. Honestly cannot rate this place highly enough. It is remote, but you are in the jungle, next to the Belize river and you wake up to the sounds of the birds and monkeys. Blissful!

Its was a hidden gem. Rooms were rustic very clean. Lots of activities like basketball, mini golf, pools, kayaking. The staff were excellent.

Nice hotel management staffs are really friendly Foods are economic and good👍

Our stay at Ka’ana was PERFECT! From the moment we checked in my husband and I were in awe of the stunning hotel and grounds. We were so fortunate to stay in a villa and it was a dream!

Ka’ana Resort exceeded every expectation and is my top recommendation for anyone visiting Belize.

Stayed with a friend in the lime room (private room with shared bathroom/shower) and absolutely loved it. The environment is beautiful, and I loved waking up to the sound of nature everyday.

Lower Dover is a hidden gem in the Belizean jungle.

Blancaneaux Lodge exceeded every expectation and was truly one of the best vacations of my life.

What an incredible time we had at the Blancaneaux Lodge! From the moment we got there we were amazed by the beauty of the Lodge and it's surroundings.

We had such a great get away at Villa Cayo.

We stayed for 3 nights and the problem is we can only give 5 stars. Absolutely stunning view from the front of the Villa for morning coffee or watching the sunset.

Sattva is more than a holiday. It’s community, passion, peace, and restoring energy. We loved it here! Melissa’s food (and cacao smoothie!

When we wanted to extend our vacation in Belize, we were craving a retreat in the jungle to stay active, do yoga, and eat healthy. Sattva was exactly what we were looking for, and more.

Hidden Valley is an absolute gem. We stayed for 6 nights in February and had one of the best trips of our lives. 2 adults, 2 kids, and we stayed in both a family cottage and a villa.

This is the most beautiful majestic property in all of Belize.

We stayed in the Hibiscus apartment and loved it. The room has everything you need with a nice kitchen and cool AC. The shared balcony was a nice touch.

This was one of the best resorts I have stayed at. The rooms were clean and cool in the jungle heat. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Dominic and his family are welcoming, informative, and gracious. The land around the lodge is stunning, with views of Xunantunich in the distance.

TLDR: We were so happy to stay outside of San Ignacio town at this eco-stay. We loved to sit outside at sunset and hear the howler monkeys while gazing at Xunantunich in the distance.

Perfect location, on a busy road so some road noise but great budget friendly stay with lovely hosts. Will forsure stay again.

This place is a family business. Marta and her husband working to keep it clean, nice and cozy for thier guests.

Our family had an absolutely incredible experience at Martz Farm, but I'll say upfront: this place isn't for everyone, and that's exactly what made it special for us.
If you're an adventurous family

We stayed here for 4 days and it was completely amazing. We had 10 total people, 6 of them being kids ranging in ages from 7-13. We felt like family from the start!

Don Santiago Guest House is a nice, comfortable, convienant spot — clean property & rooms. Thank you to Hugo for having me — he is very welcoming & a nice man — … highly recomended.

A perfect spot to stay while you're in San Ignacio.

Our new hidden gem to stay in my hometown. The location is perfect and the room was clean and spacious. For the price it's definitely a steal. Towels and soaps included.

The staff was more than helpful and very friendly. If you need a tour or a shuttle? They're more than happy to arrange it for you.

We had the best stay at Hidden Haven, it was exactly what we were hoping for and more!
We are adventurers, we love to explore, see as much as we can and take in all the experiences.

Hidden Haven is a great place to stay with a peaceful location close to many Cayo attractions.

Checked in on the 26th of February and stayed 3 nights with a friend. We stayed at the bottom dorm with 10 beds.

Had an amazing stay at this hostel. I stayed here for a week, which was a few days longer than planned. The hostel offers many activities of things to do around the area and tours as well.

Javier was a great host and made us feel welcome immediately. The room was clean and the location was perfect for exploring the area.

Rooms have AC and curtains over beds, the beds themselves aren’t the most comfortable but not the worst, large communal area both inside and outside. Water pressure in showers very good.
