We only stayed there one night. The location is excellent, from the room you can see the cathedral square. The room was small but nice as was the bathroom. Modern and functional common areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have to pay for the room in advance. To repeat for the magnificent location.

Perfect location (in the center, but aside from busiest areas), very good service, good breakfast. Prices adequate to the city levels. I would recommend and I would stay a second time.

We went for the Christmas markets and was right next to the main market. Great everything, really, a bit small but fine. Recommended.

Good service, nice staff, super clean hotel, perfect location. The room was small but smartly designed and it had all expected acessories: Hangers, desk, blowdryer, a lot of wall sockets. Unfortunately our room had a major flaw, which is the sound dampening: we had a connecting door to the room next to us, which completely ruined the resting experience as this door was not sound proof. We could hear the other guests talking, snoring, showering, peeing, etc… We could smell their perfume/deodorant! And the worse is, we were forced to wake up every morning at 7:30, because that's how early they woke up. I would not return to this hotel if there is a random chance of getting such room.

This is the very center of Ghent, with a very low price of the room. You can say that in the center you are cheaper and do not settle. Opposite the beautiful cathedral, next to everything you need for life, from souvenirs to products. The hotel has a fresh renovation, though minimalist, super down mattresses and thick blankets, and quietly as in the crypt. Only at the cathedral the bell will be called or the tram on the arrow shkrbnet on metal rails. The only thing, the refrigerator is not put in the room, and the Belgian beer drink super cold. Well, no kettle. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Within walking distance of the official brewery of Ghent, there you can refuel already in the morning.

Excellent location in the center of Gent. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast for 15 euros is quite fine and diverse. Given the price paid, quality is fine. Personnel very friendly. Internet in the room (free) is fast enough to play YouTube movies.

Hôtel is average at best. Aircon was noisy, room minute and bed basic. Great location with historic centre outside the door. So if you looking for just a room to sleep and explore the town, it will do.

Central Hotel comfortable double room with possibility of breakfast recommended to turn the center of Gent.

One of the nicest Ibis (Accor) hotels I've visited. The location is one of the key selling points, it's right in the middle of the city center, close to the shops and close to some nice places to eat or drink. The rooms are clean and the breakfast suffices. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location. Centre of town. Small, comfortable room with essentials. Friendly staff. News agent halfway to Korenmarkt so I could get my tram cards in the morning.

The staffs are very approachable and ready to assist especially the room attendant who assisted me, and the Pinay staffs. The room is immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful, it's unlimited and the selections are sumptuous and richly varied.

The hotel is decent, in the middle, a beautiful view from the window. But the room is very cold, the heating is only from the air conditioning, which buzzes terribly. It is impossible to sleep at night because of this, the air conditioning is very noisy. The floor is icy, the bathroom is cold too. And what was quite surprising is that there was no drinking water in the room! When a room costs 100 euros a night, I think a bottle of drinking water can be put in the room. The only thing I can praise is breakfast. Everything is fresh and tasty. You can fry waffles, make freshly squeezed juice. If everything in this hotel were like breakfast, it would be a great hotel!

Amazing location, in the heart of Gent. All main see sights are around and close to this hotel. Not expensive, budget hotel with normal, regular rooms which are very nice for 1-2 days stay.

Very well the breathtaking views hotel is an ibis does not disappoint the impressive bistass the Cathedral the Plaza Lleba of life at Christmas do not miss it.

Average hotel with average rooms and average continental breakfast. To spend the night and explore the city it is sufficient. Highlight: Service at the bar. Very friendly and attentive.

Privileged location next to the Cathedral of San Bavon and the Belfor tower and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, in the heart of the city.

Great location, functional rooms, breakfast is a bit pricey, restaurant service, with ready meals, can solve the problem dinner if arriving very late and the locals around are already closed. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great hotel. Comfortably priced, room was clean equipped with AC (which we foud was lacking in other hotels in Belgium). As others have said, the location is terrific, but we were worried about the noise — turns out the windows are practically sound-proof! In addition to all of that, the breakfast was vast with a ton of different foods and drinks to help you start your morning right.

Nice tidy hotel right next to the cathedral. Location couldn't be better. Stayed in a double room; bed was comfortable, but room and bathroom was tiny. Great price though, so can't complain. You get what you pay for. Definitely recommended.

Functional Hotel Manon Bello.

Very nice hotel, cozy rooms with air conditioning. Room service was great. Of course the location is one of the best. Everything was clean. The breakfast was good, but coffee could have been stronger. The staff was friendly and helpful in everything.

Very expensive hotel for tiny rooms and uncomfortable bedding. Proposal of a room with a kind of window overlooking the cathedral (+ €10). Parking (tiny) not included in room rate (€26 per day! ). Better to go to a nearby Qpark. Ghent is a small town, all hotels are actually in the center. Do not book at IBIS there is much better!

The location of the hotel was nice. Breakfast was superb. However, my concern was our room. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. During our 2nd day in the hotel, my boyfriend and I went to Brugge the whole day then we came back to the hotel like half past 10 in the evening. Surprisingly, no housekeeper went to our room to clean it. We used the same dirty towels for 3 days. Quite disappointed.

We have asked for a room for 2 nights. Next day the key stopped working, when we asked why, it turns out they only registered us for 1 night. All our luggage was still locked inside and no one has warned us. The staff was really unpleasant, no one apologized or offered any help with finding an alternative accomodation. Really disappointing experience.

A top location. Absolutely great staff, very good Breakfast. Rooms are like all ibis hotels, clean, appropriate and absolutely suitable for city trips. I always feel comfortable here.

Very nice location for a stay in Ghent. Very centrally located, right off the trams. As we were touring Belgium on bikes it was important they had a secure facility for storing our bikes, which they did. The rooms are not very large, and everything feels a bit industrial and modern, but it is all functional and comfortable. The hotel is directly across from St. Baafs Cathedral and has some amazing views of historic Ghent.

Politics compared to dogs not very clear. … once they can go to the hotel bar, the other day it is forbidden. Be clear.

I don't feel me welcome at this hotel. This due to the lack of professional attitude of the desk staff at the check-in and check-out. They don't liked it to help us out, a very very cool and detached attitude. They don't told us the way to go on their hotel, don't asked if everything was OK, don't wishes us the best and a good voyage and refused to give us the bill after check-out. Sorry, this are BASICS for me as guest and this is not worth a 3 stars hotel! If you know that we had to pay around 100 euro for 1 night for 2 persons (excl. Breakfast of 15 euro pp), sorry this price is TOO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU GET, even a low budget hotel or not.

14eur for 'petit' breakfast, room ibis small, good location.

Room smelled bad and stale smell from bed was awful. They took €300 deposit on arrival, and although room has been paid, deposit not yet paid back to my credit card. I am phoning them to find out why not. Unable to reach them so far.

Just got home from a loooong trip due to the planeless skies. My stay in Ibis Gent Kathedraal has been exceptional. Great locations, nice rooms but mostly the staff's hospitality has no limits! Reception, bar and housekeeping was very accomodating throughout my stay and very helpful with solving my airplane ticket issues. Thanks to All, and for sure will be back with you in the near future.

Despite the nice rooms I was a bit puzzled about their attitude towards customers. We ordered a room 2 months in advance for a price of 89 euro's per day. When we got there we were asked if they immediatly could charge us 750 euro for the 5 days. I declined and told them that 750 euro was not the agreed price. However, the extra 51 euros/day were for parking and breakfast. As I didn't have a car and didn't want their breakfast I was told to pay a price of 495 euro or I could have no room. I paid the 495 immediatly. When we were about to leave they wanted ud to pay an extra of 20 euro because we had stayed there during a weekend. I declined to pay those extra 20 euro's and left the hotel.
