Fantastic hotel. Junior Suite is excellent for those with young children who need a separate sleep area for the children.

Everything was wonderful! Super friendly staff, fantastic breakfast & really nice rooms! We will be back!

Super location in the center, overlooking the canal, stunning interiors and perfect cleanliness. Each room is unique in design. One view of the rooftops of Bruges from the last floor is worth it. I do not like: The quality of plumbing, there is a shower nasty flowing, there is a sink clogged. Nothing Breakfast is 4 points out of 5.

Hotel is beautiful. Coffee and food way over priced. Lady on reception was very abrupt. Refused to take card payment under 100 Euro!

My son offered me 2 nights, the staff are attentive to the guests, the room is very clean, the bed super comfortable, a very hearty lunch, nothing to say about this hotel that good, thanks to everyone.

Our recent stay at the Hotel de Orangerie was one of the nicest hotel experiences we've ever had. We decided at check in to upgrade to a lovely canal suite, and adored the decor and warm feel of the room. It was a nice contrast to the snow that was coming down outside on the canal. The front desk team members helped us to make a reservation at a great local restaurant, and told us about the city and where to go. They also brought us robes to our room, which we enjoyed. We also made a reservation for high tea in the hotel's dining room, another experience that helped make our stay in Bruges a very special one. The tea was great, complete with delicious tea sandwiches and the perfect table by the fireplace & canal window. We would highly recommend the Hotel de Orangerie would love to come back if we're in Belgium again.

Lovely hotel, well placed just behind the bell tower in Bruges. Beautiful dining room and lounge. Large comfortable room. We even got an upgrade which is always good. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel. Superb location, amazing decor. We were there in February and could not take advantage of the veranda overlooking the canal. That would have been an additional bonus. When making reservations, include the breakfast in the price. It is very good.

We were out of sight in Bruges and we stop at this hotel to do ' afternoon tea '.
Everything was perfect: the quality of all the food, the amount (at all times we were told that if we wanted to repeat something we said it was not necessary), the value for money and the attention of all the staff who attended us that was extremely friendly.

Bruges, Little Venice, being full of canals and bridges, is absolutely seductive. Very quiet city which on Saturdays is crowded with people. The typical dish is the toast with cheese, also the fries with melted cheese. Red wine and beer, like no?! There are many hotels, preserving the same medieval architecture as the whole city. You can stay in any of them without a doubt but I stay with the Orangerie for its peculiar charm, that imposing decor and location between waters, vegetation and boats that pass snooping. Excellent service and atmosphere for lovers of tranquility, intimacy and the beauty of nature that boasts of painstaking care.

Great for afternoon tea on the patio by the river. Friendly staff, you will be well looked after. Would return.

The worst afternoon tea experience EVER! On arrival, my first impressions of the hotel was that it was decorated beautifully for Christmas and in an ideal location close to the markets, but unfortunately from the moment I encountered the so called members of staff at the hotel, my experience went from bad to worse. We arrived early and was seated straight away in a room which was cosy, traditional and overlooked the canal. My partner was seated on a stool that was tiny and wobbled but we didn’t complain as we were just happy to be in what we thought was a lovely hotel. The afternoon tea was booked for 2pm and the waitress came over to ask for our drink orders around 2:10pm. We asked for English breakfast and coffee, along with some table water. Asking for table water was almost frowned upon, which we found odd but never the less continued to enjoy the experience. The waitress came over again shortly after with our food and drinks but left hastily without explaining what was in the sandwiches or what the cakes were – in my experience, this was unusual. From there on, we were left to it. An hour passed and no one had come into the room to check on us or ask for any refreshments. I felt that we had been forgotten about and as I hadn’t seen anyone in some time, decided to venture to the kitchen to ask for some fresh tea and water. The waitress looked surprised but did bring fresh tea and water over to the table and left again without saying a word.

It's a beautiful place. The atmosphere is soulful. In the middle.

An absolutely wonderful experience and a great hotel. The warmth and kindness of the staff was a particular standout. The location and furnishings are also spectacular. My only request would be for more late-checkout options; however, I realize this is not always practical for the hotel. Thanks to you all!

Nice hotel — fairly old fashioned but quiet and gracious. Went here for afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and delicious. Helpful friendly staff and a lovely location with a terrace overlooking the canal.

Beautiful boutique hotel, you breathe history and you are fine. Much quality, high prices though.

It's pretty, certainly. The accommodations are medieval, however. The Wi-Fi is spotty at best, the shower is a tub with a hand faucet, and the ceilings in the basement room are low enough that I hit my head whenever I got up. They attempt to charge $20 per person for breakfast at their buffet. Don't bother.
