Reviews of Getaway Studios Leuven 3*
We had the "deluxe" room for 80 euros a night for two people and were a bit disappointed. This is more like a hostel and perhaps the larger rooms with more beds are better value for money if you're in a large group. On the plus side, it was clean and contact with staff via email was good. Not so great was the very noisy pub across the street.
Best place to stay. I really feel at home here and had the best night sleep ever.

On the occasion of a sporting competition (specifically, the 24 Hours of Hannut Puzzles), I stayed two days with several teammates at this hotel at the end of October 2016 and repeated in October 2017. It was quite a hit. Fully equipped rooms with kitchen and utensils, ironing board, hairdryer, etc. Spacious, with two work tables, lots of silence, a bay window that looked like taken from the film "The Indiscreet Window" or "La noose", and spacious and comfortable beds.
Located a stone's throw from the centre of Leuven and on the corner with the city's main pedestrian and shopping street, so any culinary or tourist management is immediate, apart from the train and bus station being quite close, about 800 metres away. With the staff you can speak English without problems, and I do this extend to virtually all of Belgium, where anywhere you can be served in Shakespeare's language.
In short, as Hannut's quote is annual, it is fortunate to have a place to sleep with these qualities and at a good price.
