The hotel is mediocre at best, room sub par, no ameneties. But for us proximity is everything. Not sure how you could have a better location, especially at their price.

This is what you would expect from a "last minute low cost & budget" hotel. The room was dusty but — apart from that — clean and not too small; the building has no elevator. The location of the hotel is awesome (just two minutes from the Grand Place) but this comes with the inconvinience of the street noises.

This is a basic hotel in a brilliant location, overlooking Rue de la Montagne. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff are friendly and obliging.

Excellent customer service, the staff tries to understand all the requirements that you do despite the fact that the language may be different, you are too kind. The rooms very spacious, beds very comfortable, have in-room safe, bathroom comfortable and clean. The hotel is very close to the gran plaza. The breakfast offered is varied and good. The only against is that there is no lift and you must climb quite a few stairs to get to the room situation that is uncomfortable with the suitcases.

For the budget traveler it gets the job done. The doors can be noisy because they don't close completely tight and can move around in the frame quite a lot. Location is excellent for exploring Brussel's old town.

The hotel is excellent for a few days in Brussel at a great locatien near the train station and at a beautiful square just in the center of Brussel.

The hot water did not worked. Maybe 1 liter per minute. Or even half liter!

Very cold, toilet did not work. Bathroom was in bad shape. Breakfast was simple.

Friendly and helpful staff. The building is old, which is especially appreciated in the bathrooms. Otherwise, simple and clean. Excellent location and good value for/price.

Stay away from him. They gave me blood towels.

Nice and centrally located hotel with excellent connections to Grand Place, Gare Centrale and the local shopping streets/galleries. Interior and breakfast are Spartan.

The toilet was a bit stinky, but the rest ok. The breakfast was more than modest! Literally, one croissant plus jam plus coffee, and a piece of not very good cheese. Barely 2 stars.

The location is amazing. Very close to Grand Place (it's about a 2 minute walk) and the Central station (it's about a 3 minute walk). There is also free Wi-Fi, which nowadays I wouldn't consider it such a positive aspect of a hotel. Breakfast was very basic. The breakfast room was very small, adequate only to accommodate 10 people at best. The space in the room is quite limited, specially if you are travelling with normal luggage. The bathroom was enough only for one person;two people don't fit in! It wasn't the more cleanest place I've ever been. Compared to the price (160 euros for 2 nights and 2 people) it is a very bad place to stay. There is no elevator and the staircase is very narrow;very difficult to go up with heavy luggage. One receptionist locked us in for 10 minutes, to go outside and get a hamburger!

Great value for money, clean, great location close to everything would recommend, friendly staff.

Low cost Hotel from the great location very close to really everything, central station and city centre. Can move to walk. The rooms are a bit small, and the heaters may also make mad. The breakfast is in a small room, there are basically sweet and a little cheese. In the morning from the breakfast room is located on the first floor comes a bit of noise from the continuous positioning of the chairs, So if you are staying nearby and you want to sleep you might be bothered. However, positive experience for the location and availability of the staff.

Very friendly staff ready to help you with any information, well located, very clean and fresh. If you are looking for a simple and practical place, Hotel the Moon is your place. Is not a Hilton Hotel but it has all that you need.

Cheap and very close to the Grand place. Comfy enough but basic.

There is no elevator in this hotel! Important! And the reception desk is on 2nd floor. All of the rooms are above that floor. The most expensive room is on lower floor. The concierge will not give you any hand on lifting luggage, so be sure to have strong hand if you have heavy stuff. Besides, the location is too close to the plaza (it is right in the plaza actually) so you will hear loud music from plaza and restaurants all night. The only advantage for this place is it is close to restaurants or stores.

Nice place, great location, good value for money. Leaving the room key with a receptionist when leaving is a little unsettling, as they don't wear a uniform, could be anyone from the street.

The location was great. Stayed in December and the view from our room's window was beautiful. Room was small but clean.

Stayed here for a week over the summer. A great lil hotel smack bang in the middle of Brussels. Don't let how cheap it is put you off. Would stay here again if I ever travel to Brussels for a second time. :)

I think I stayed there will the cops came and got me and shipped me the the blind past.

Very convenient location for a great price. Compared to other hotels and considering the great location, I would highly recommend staying here. They have private bathrooms, which is a big plus. It is only a few minute's walk away from the main square. Parking is in an underground garage about 300 feet away from the hotel. If you are just looking for a place to rest your head, this is the place: it's hard to beat it.

A very small hotel! It is excellent! And close to everything! Good Desayunito price which is sufficient for lunchtime staff at reception although somewhat serious girls of cleaning and the breakfast room very helpful and friendly single rooms of good size and heating! Very important in winter. The bathroom tiny but in good condition I truth recommend it if you are not looking for extreme luxury that is the best choice.

Very tiny hotel in the middle of Brussels. The Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was disappointing, but 180 Euros for three nights for a couple makes it five stars anyway.

Kind of pricey for what we got. Great location. Guess that is where all the money went. Parking wasn't too bad. There was a parking garage nearby.

Location, location, location. Rooms are ok but being on the square, a beautiful spring day, and serenaded by live music outside the window make it perfect.

Perfect location. Only a 5 minute walk from the central metro station and right next to Grand Place, which is basically the most beautiful part of the city. There are tons of shops/ restaurants around the area. Breakfast was good (bread, cheese, coffee, orange juice, jam, nutella, pastries) and free wireless in our room was awesome! Staff weren't particularly helpful. Rooms were clean and they provide towels/ hair dryer. Cons — if you're expecting a lively decor, this is not for you. Rooms/ hallways are dark. Additionally, we didn't like having to return our key every time we left because they basically handed out keys to whoever came it. No security! Also, we were lucky to have a room facing the back. If you're in the front, the view is much nicer looking over a main square but you will definitely regret it at night. It gets very very loud until late hours of the night since it is a major area.

Poorly maintained. Our room was shabby and the bathroom was not clean, all the light fixtures were missing their covers providing a real flop house ambiance. The hallways were pitch black and we had to push a button to temporarily turn them on. With the front door of the hotel always open, dark hallways and the lack of a dead bolt or chain on the door we felt unsafe. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS DEPRESSING! We got a room at the Ibis across the street for only 9 euros more a night and it was excellent. The clerk at the Moon was nice enough, but insisted that we had to pay for our room and assured me the manager would contact me to address our concerns. Naturally he or she did not contact us, they had their payment why would they?. We are disputing this with the credit card company, what a hassle.
