The staff was nice, location is within walking distance of some cool stuff, “free” American style breakfast looked disgusting with watery eggs, the Wi-Fi did not work at all, disappointing, but it is right by a castle.

As a single backpacker, the room extremely good. In the city heart of Brussel. I can go anywhere from here.

Normal place, parking nearby, center nearby, clean, inexpensive, breakfast decent. With the elevator, of course, a joke, but apparently in another way.

Very well located Hotel, in the heart of the city, spacious and comfortable room, with a desk and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast service is of good quality and very varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. 3 Star Hotel recommended.

Excellent location, but definitely outdated. Tiny bathroom, extra small elevator, basic breakfast with very bad coffee. Internet connection also slow. But good rest, as I had no view: windows go inside the tiny "well" — so very quiet.

Selection Chambord because it is well located. Apart from the location, this hotel is good for the rich food (breakfast) and close proximity to public transportation. I recommend it.

Single room is too small Wi-Fi is really slow. Tv and its remote control are problem and don't work properly. Hotel is situated at the hearth of Brussell. Breakfast is standart and offers no special thing. Stuff is smiling and helpful in manners. You can find elevator but it is too slow, narrow needs patience There is No way but waiting.

Access to center was so easy, great breakfast provided, nice view to chocolate shops ;) the room also was as it described on website. Highly recommended Only problem was weak Wi-Fi connection!

My second stay in the Hotel Chambord. The location is ideal for my business trips. However, the Wi-Fi is unbelievably bad. I needed to do important work for the meetings I am in Brussels to attend and it was impossible due to the inability to access internet reliably. Do bother trying to stream a movie or access your email. Average download speeds were.

There is no minibar in the room. The bottle dispenser in the lobby had exhausted water. At the front desk I was told "go buy it at Carrefour". Shameful.

Close to the metro, to the center, to everything. Room was clean and nice. One problen is Wi-Fi, it was good only during the daytime.

Only defect, room unavailable at the time it was agreed (waiting for 2H). But staff pressing the next day to leave the room on time.

Staff's people too friendly. Hotel is near of fast food shops, a largest avenue to buy rich stuff's, but walk too. Breakfast is too nice, you have a lot of variety of food to take it. Room's are too nice, however, I don't know why the air aconditioner is turned on in winter LOL you have to call reception to turn down each day when you stay because turnes on automatically.

Hotel very well located at the exit of the subway station Porte de Namur to come directly from the station of Midi. Very comfortable and quiet room.
15 to 20 minutes in a straight line to the Royal Square and then the Royal galleries. Very nice staff. Attention hours of breakfast included different weekdays and Sundays.

Very affordable and clean hotel, close to metro "Port de Namur". No bar or restaurant but there's plenty of nice places around, such as Kipkot or l'Ultime Atome which are at a good 10min on foot. Rooms have big terraces which is a nice feature.

Well overall. But a bad odor in the bathroom, and the heating pushed to the bottom not adjustable are slightly disappointing. Very good location otherwise, no problem to leave until the Grand place on foot.

Good location, just near the underground. We had big room with a good view. Breakfast is not good, but nothing special.

Very average. The "economical" room is very low-end for a very high price even in Brussels. Bedding and pillows av Replace absolutely! Can lunch OK but only very industrial products…

Nice location in center. Good breakfast with nice large and wide window to street life. However, Wi-Fi was really bad.

Nice clean rooms. But thought there would have been free coffee/ tea making facilities in the room. Smell from the sink and bath drains was obvious when you enter the bathroom. But smell was not overpowering.

Bad internet, small rooms, dark rooms, bad ventilated rooms, receptionist not very friendly specially the morning shift. I arrived from my long journey at 11 am and the receptionist told me that my room is not ready, check in time is 2pm, I said I know and totally respect but please try to help! He answered; I can't tell the room service to do your room first, after some discussion, he concluded; if you don't like it you can go another hotel! On the good side, location and breakfast.

Five stars for the price below comparison with others, but overall they would be 4 stars I would give.

Location is best for tourists, as important tourist attractions are all within 10 to 15 minutes walk. The staff were extremely friendly and rooms were very clean. Including breakfast is a bonus! Worth for the price, definitely recommended.

I would like to thank the staff of the hotel which we were extremely surprised. The other opinion seems to me fanciful as the reception, the rooms, the excellent breakfast and the flexibility are assets to this hotel. Thanks again for your reactivity.

Good hotel. Air-conditioned. I stayed in a room on the 6th floor with a magnificent view of the city. The breakfast is offered in buffet style. Mouth-watering!

The room makes a luxurious impression. The cleanliness is also good. Very friendly front Desk. The Breakfast included in the room price and rich. The only downside to this is give the radiator gluckernde noises, what the night is a bit disturbing.

Renovated family hotel well located. The week-end rate is unbeatable.

Disappointed with the room, moisture problem in the room, to have heating you have to pick up the appliance at the reception and then go down the appliance for the other rooms, I've never seen that, damage.

The rooms on floor zero are very narrow and dark without any internet or even phone network. Recpection staff kind. Breakfast good variety. Very clean.

Great Hotel, excellent locatoin, friendly staff, delecious breakfast, tidy and spacious, modern room! It's a perfect choice for a holiday and sightseeing in Brussel! We loved it!

I'm putting this review up so that you can save yourself the torture we endured by not staying in this hotel. On all of the different hotel sights, we saw the beautiful pictures of the rooms, the piano bar, the breakfast room and fell in love with the hotel. We were fantasizing about eating breakfast on that nice balcony with a table and chair they show. Of course, this didn't exisit in our room. The balcony didn't even have a table or chairs. The reality is that we were scammed. It shouldn't even be called a hotel room, more like a giant dirty closet with the bed inside. There's a 1930's elevator that only fits one person and one piece of luggage. Next to the elevator, was an abundant collection of pamphlets for call girl/guy service. Birds or rodents are scurrying above your head in the ceiling while you try to sleep at night. That's if you sleep at night. During 3 days of our stay, the room was boiling hot. No fan and no airconditioning "what do you think this is, a five star hotel? " as commented by a large bald employee working behind the counter when we asked if they had fans. The carpets were dirty, the comforter looked like it dated from the 1960's, the room has only one working outlet to power the fridge, alarm clock, TV, and desk lamp. Hope you're not thinking about using the hair dryer in the bedroom! It rained, and the water leaked through the shut window and soaked the carpet next to the bed.

Avoid at all cost. Rude stuff. Early booking and paying is pointless. You might end up with room that you didn't pay for and this to be your fault. Location ok. Worst hotel in Europe.

Very disappointing.
Single room too little was too similar to a very small student room.
Only one elevator and limited to 2 people.
Shower repair (room 64).
Breakfast very little change and little bit qualified staff (have to ask that they fill out the buffet of scrambled eggs, Ditto for Bacon, Ditto for the knives, towels and plates).
If you leave your table to go to the buffet, you chances are that it is free before returning to your table, this happened to me 2 times in 15 minutes.
In short, hotel "DE LUXE" to strongly discouraged.

Room Nr. 3. Horror. No air conditioning. But window leads to back yard with a bunch of air conditionings engines. Producing hot air.

I stayed in this hotel in the summer of 2012. At my arrival the first thing that the staff considered suitable to be done for me was to cheat me. Althought I had payed through my travel agency for a standard room they tried to offer me year economy room. Although my price had included 30 minutes free internet in my room I had to pay for this facilityJe am stayed in this hotel for the summer of 2012. Went to this hotel on a Eurostar deal and was very pleased with it. Helpful staff, convenient location, very clean, nice decor, good breakfast. Only down side was slightly hot room but as it was — 2 outside, this may have been a blessing in disguise. Would go there again and definitely recommend for an easy Brussels break.
