The Classic by 2GO4 Grand Place Hostel

I enjoy this hostel. Great atmosphere. Fans would help in rooms during summer. No freezer and small fridge but nice little kitchen and common room. Place has style!. Price is reasonable.

A great hostel with a lot of character in their common space. Motorcycles, writing machines, interesting art. Soft drinks, beer available in vending machines for affordable prices. Slept like a princess, most interesting hostel I've been at. Left early so I don't have any input on breakfast.

The Grand Place location is ideal, about 50m away from la Grand Place. It's a satellite location to the bigger 2go4 hostel, about a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are quite nice, very clean and the bathrooms are impeccable. There is a common room and kitchen but no reception at the satellite location. Only draw back is being difficult to socialize as the events for the nights aren't posted anywhere. I did not want much socialization so this was not a huge issue for me. Great spot and would stay here again.

The hostel in general is not bad. The private room was however on the fourth floor with two steep ramps of stairs not serviced by elevator. Payment only possible in cash despite having anticipated that I would pay with paper. On the last night while I was sleeping they got into the room two guys because in reception they had assigned them by mistake my room (! ).

The sink outside the room. All clean. The best is the situation. Close to the centre and with transport, with atmosphere in the evenings (a little noise)

The service is excellent, though interaction with the staff and guests can be difficult due to the nature of national/international hostels as a whole. The staff speak English, and have enough intuition to deduce basic conversation in several other languages. The amenities are clean and clear of infestations. Most hostel guests are cordial and friendly. Room sizes are respectable, lavatories and showers are readily available, and Wi-Fi is provided at no charge.

This is a five star hostile from 7 AM to 10 PM. Then they close the doors to ALL of the common areas and it changes into a high-security prison. If you get up at night all you can do is walk around up and down the staircase or hallway or go outside, Which is not very practical when it is 20°. Otherwise, very clean and the staff was friendly.

We GOT STOLEN 2 of our bags in lockers with padlock. The reception said it was not guests but stranger from outside, so they couldn't help it! (It's definitely worse and creepy! ) strangers can get to inside easily! Robbery came into the hostel and even into our room easily without key card and broke the padlock and took our all of bags. There were our 2 loptops, 2 cameras, gopro, external memories, passport and wallet. Literally everything of us for two years of world trip. There were NO CCTV and staff doesn't care about this situation. Never asked how it happened and never came to my room to see what happened. Never checked the other room or guests neither. Even hesitated to call police and called too much late. Police men gave us the report through mailbox (since this hostel close from 11pm), but the boss who is only one having key of mailbox. Never showed up until the late afternoon. Worst experience ever. Not even robbery but also the treatment of this hostel.

Lovely hostel. Had to check in at different place than I was staying and the 3pm check in was a bit inconvenient. Clean hostel would stay again. Mon the Celts.

Room for 2 really small and narrow. Maximum width 60 cm of corridor.

Very good hostel with great staff. Has an equipped kitchen with fridge and chocolate and coffee to drink, good Wi-Fi and a meeting room. **careful, there are 2 hostels under this name, the second one is next to the grand Palace, and does not have a reception.

It was a standard hostel experience for me considering the price. I found Having to pay a city tax on top of my bill quite annoying also but this is not a mark against the hostel just something to be aware of. The location was a short walk from the city centre and the rooms were cleaned daily which was a bonus. I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm ensuite that wasnt overly cramped, there was plenty of ventilation and a fan. The hostel also had an elevator which was very useful when your room is on the 3rd floor and you have a lot of luggage. Do consider this hostel does not have a laundry and does not allow you to take bikes inside to be stored. However there is a laundry within walking distance and there is an area outside the entrance to lock your bike to. Don't make the same mistake I did and leave your water bottle on your bike as it will be gone in the morning! So if you're biking do consider bringing a heavy duty lock and wrapping it through your wheels.

This place is swell if you need a place to stay for a couple of nights. I had a rental car, so I had to park down Rogiers parking area which was maybe 10 minutes walking. The common area close at 11 which was unfortunate. It is a god thing also so travellers can get rest if they need it. I loved the racing/car/industrial motif this place had going on. It was real hip. Didn't know they had a kitchen till the next morning, but a great amenity if you are staying for more than one day. Wi-Fi was great! I didn't like however, I was short on euro for my linen, and I had to give driver license for collateral. But I'm glad they worked with me. All in all, I would stay at 2go4 again!

Even informed of the cancellation 39h00 before (7 the morning before) by phone and email and this following a car accident.
I tried to reach the managers several times (who hide behind their employees) in order to find a compromise.
At your peril …

The room was very good Unfortunately the rooms are shared (my on the floor will hold with about 10 people).
Solution a bit spartan but acceptable for the optimal location of the hostel.
