Hotel

A normal hotel, near the station and a flixbase stop. The staff are very friendly — and leave the bag and an umbrella to borrow. The rooms are tired, the night another will go.

Central location at the train station Very good connection to local public transport Room was clean, standard equipped as all ibis hotels. Breakfast was good.

Friendly, helpful, clean. Good selection at breakfast, nothing was missing. I would only have liked free parking. But since we are here in the middle of the city, this is probably not possible. There is a parking garage right next to the house. Costs 6, — € extra. And also the price with 88, — € is also to be discounted. And for my trailer I also got a free parking space.

Hotel without Air conditioning… avoid this hotel. Near to train but We could not sleep here. Staff tried to do the best but an Hotel without an Air conditioning system can not be offered for summer time. Opening a window is not a solution coming from staff. Resume: prepare for sleeping without AC.

The staff at the reception is five stars but unfortunately the rooms did not meet the expectations. Bathroom could be better cleaned, especially the shower. Sleeping with open window due to highway noise is impossible. The food at the restaurant was disappointing and way to pricey for what you get. I had a Wiener schnitzel but what I got for 16€ was a joke. That’s why I’m going to avoid the breakfast too, I guess you can get a nicer deal somewhere in town.

Good located, next to the Main station. Very nice staff. Have smoking rooms. Old style rooms but clean. Missed the coffee and water heater from the room.

Nice and modern rooms. Pillows are super comfortable, staff is nice although there's usually only one person doing the checking and it can get a little bit crowded. On the downside, the rooms do not have AC and in summer can get quite warm. There's a room ventilation but whenever I've used it, it just makes the room smell like a club, just cigarettes smell…

The location was just fantastic opposite the main railway station.

It'S pretty good. The rooms are not very large but they are comfortable and have quite luminosity. The Hotel is very well located in front of Linz Central Station and has good connections to the city centre.

Great, friendly staff. They take care in your comfort and stay. A real joy. Easy check-in / check out. Hotel well maintained, rooms always clean and well serviced. Quiet at night. You'll get a good nights sleep. The food is tasty. There is a minimal but tasty 24 hour grilled sandwich menu. There is a bar next to reception — beer, drinks, non alcohol, coffee drinks. Internet in the rooms is free and connection is very good. There is a computer and printer near reception if you need to print tickets. Next to the hotel is a large food market for any snacks you need. A 10-minute walk to the main pedestrian street. 25 minute walk to the main square of the city and Danube river. And directly across from the hotel, is the main Linz OBB train station and the bus stop for Flixbus. The best stay in Linz… and I've stayed at them all over the past 6 years! Did I mention the reception and bar staff — the best asset in the hotel!

A hotel near the center with a nice architecture. Clean rooms, good service with very nice and helpful staff.

I stayed here for 3 nights and it is a very good 3 star hotel close to the centre of Linz and the train station. Made even better by the manager Ira Gronbeck who was always friendly and who card's about the people who visit. May have to come back soon.

To reach the tribe hotel in Linz, main railway station, City foot. Landestheater Linz, for the theatre requires a walk of 20 minutes. Room okay, Breakfast very varied. Only Mango, the Breakfast room is too small.

Pretty cool place to stay, can’t rate the price cause I wasn’t paying. Can recommend :-) 4 stars cause I’ve seen better for sure :-)

Good hotel. Well maintained and clean. Very good service. Staff is friendly. So everything is very good.

Great Ibis. The best part: some unique items at breakfast table like waffel dough to put in waffel iron and an unique juice. Never seen before. Certainly worth to recommend to check out for a hotel in Linz. This one is also just in front of train station.

So I find this hotel near train station perfect.
In one day I was unfortunately in an awkward situation, but here I was helped very discreetly.

Great location, 10 minutes walk from downtown, opposite Linz Central Station.

Decent bed, clean rooms, very good breakfast. But this is the only hotel I've been so far where you need to pay extra for Wifi — 6Euros/day. The so called "free Wi-Fi" is not usable at all — not even for checking your email. Common guys, wake up! we are not in 80's any more.

I was honestly disappointed because of the positive reviews.
Booking by phone very impersonal and repellent.
Room was OK however the bathroom was not really cleaned… hair and mildew in the shower hair on the towels and the empty vodka bottles from the predecessors still in the bathroom!
Lady at the front desk very impersonal and slightly repellent.
The only thing that could really convince was the breakfast included. The waitress/waiter.
It was noticed that these have fun at work and want to do the best for the guests!
On the whole for a night OK.

First of all I have to say that breakfeast was very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is very nice too since you are directly vis-à-vis of the train station. There is also a pedestrian zone that can be reqched in about 5 minutes by foot. Overall my stay was nice and I would definetly stay there again.

Great Ibis Hotel near the train station, very simple but perfectly adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet very extensive and everything needed there. Great hotel for a short trip to Linz and the arena very close.

Just okay kind of hotel. Except close proximity to Linz railway hotel there is nothing great. Rooms are really small. There is no tea maker / electric kettle in the room.
Staff is relatively good.

Breakfast beyond the standards Ibis Rouge… varied choice of a 4 star minimum!

The beakfast was great every day but the room was small, uncomfortable and very loud thanks to a school group. They were shouting in front of my room and under the window etc. My request had been ignored so I couldn't move to another, less noisy room. The staff "did not notice anything extraordinary".

Functional Hotel near the center. Great service.

The impression when you get into the hotel is unfortunately not confirmed in the room. It reverberates a lot, the showers unfortunately already have small mold corners. And because there is no carpet in the room, the beds slide back and forth when you sleep a bit wild like my son (9). But the Viennese schnitzel in the restaurant is the hammer.

Turned up very last minute (at 2 in the morning with a group of 22) after some slight issues with our scout trip and our original overnight stop. The staff were fantastic and very helpful — sorted us out quickly!

Poor restaurant menu, lacking choice for the evening meal. Breakfast was really good with good selection of food and regularly topped up with fresh food and drink. Aircon/temperature control was not the best in the room. Shower door was awkward to shut because of the lack of space. Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a good location.

I came here with my scout group, after plans to stay at a campsite fell though due to illnesses and timings. The staff were extremely helpful, even when we rocked up with 23 people at 2 in the morning. They also helped us to arrange going to another one of their hotels in Bonn, Germany, as we still needed to rest the drivers. Overall I would definitely recommend that you stay here as the staff were helpful; the rooms were clean; and the beds were definitely more comfortable than a camp bed on rocky, bumpy ground!

I imagined it better. Very dirty, the shower had hardly any pressure. Breakfast has had a weird taste. Yes it's good that's everything… Wouldn't I recommend any more…

Everything was perfect during our one night stay. The location is really good, because of the Linz Hbf and several mins walk to city center.

Good location opposite the main railway station, the city centre is easily reached on foot. The rooms are small, but clean and adequately equipped. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.
I had a very short stay, next time in Linz I must look for a hotel.

Good Hotel opposite the main railway station. Super price-performance and extremely friendly staff. Rooms very very small, but comfortable beds. Just suitable for a short visit in Linz.

Very friendly and protecting staff. Rooms are rather below average. Carpet dirty, the faucet dripped, ventilation looks tentative, Plastikmöbel look very cheap. Breakfast plentiful and good. Very good beds, mattress. For short stay is recommended.

Easy check in, good internet connection and right across the street from the Bahnhof. Hotel Ibis great place for any quick tourist stay.

Who short stays is likely to be satisfied. For the price quite ok.
