Locale — front desk help is so friendly and helpful — casino is nice — restaurants have great food — the city is easy to explore and get around in.

Worst hotel in austria. I am in it now and there is no limit to my disgust. Plastic furniture, no water and a kettle. My agent by mistake a reservation for other dates in the future; they refused to change the front desk and demanded to pay for a new number. I booked a new room, but could not settle down right away — the reservation did not come to them. Have to wait said. Sent to dinner I wait in the restaurant Preslmayer, which is closed on Monday. All this is like a mockery. Hotel and service even for 2 stars does not pull. Better settled in Courtyard.

Good, solid hotel with excellent service instincts: room change for malfunctioning bathroom door. Should have been an upgrade, not a smaller room but apparently they were booked out. Everything else was good.

What distinguishes this hotel, in my opinion, is the good, central location in combination with the absolute tranquility of the rooms.
In front of the hotel is directly one of the small parks of Linz. Shortly behind a tram station. I would definitely come back!

Good city hotel in a very good location, right next to public transport stops and functional clean rooms.
Right next to the country road and only about 10 min. Walk at the main square.
We had a double room. Was well equipped according to the category.
We slept very well.
Reception staff were friendly.
Breakfast buffet was good and according to the standard.

Great hotel, despite it's age in super shape and maintenance. The sauna on the fifth floor is brand new, available 24 hours :) and the best is: very reasonable price.

Standort direkt im Zentrum von Linz. Nette Rezeption, Willkommensdrink und dem Preis angemessene Zimmer. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer waren schön und sauber, einzige Enttäuschung war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche und die ständig schwankende Wassertemperatur. Zwischen "Eiskalt" und "Hölle" lagen, ohne Manipulation der Armaturen, oft nur Sekunden. Trotz zentraler Lage sehr ruhig. Wir werden das Hotel für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt definitiv wieder in Betracht ziehen.

Great hotel in a great location. 10 minutes walk from the main railway station as well as 10 minutes from the historic center. Right next to the hotel is a huge shopping street with lots of shops, restaurants and a casino as well. Hotel has fitness facilities, sauna, restaurants, café and is very quiet situated.

A very well located hotel with friendly, courteous staff. Clean, well sized rooms and amenities and good value for money overall. It would have been 5 stars had some small issues been resolved in a better way. Overall, a good hotel in a great location let down by a few small things.

We spent two nights in the Hotel and were very satisfied. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was excellent and is definitely recommended. We want to spend this year, once again, a weekend here.

Central location, lovely breakfast.

The bedroom does not offer the most modern equipment (bed, floor etc). The bathroom is very pretty and well equipped. However, there is everything you need and the most important thing is "it is very clean". The ventilation of the room is noisy. And the walls are relatively thin so you can hear something more than you want. But for the price is perfectly fine. The breakfast plays all the pieces!

The location was excellent. With lift to the casino, Art Mile, Kunsthaus, Ars Electronica all within walking distance and very nice hotel with good breakfast.

Very nice and friendly staff very friendly even the Austrians are not known for this but I have to say I was reconsidered. The hotel is beautiful with casino inside and a gorgeous Spa I would go back to Linz which is a beautiful city.

The Schillerpark is ideally located very close to the city centre. So maybe you're leaving too much of it to get guests. The parking garage situation is not reasonable for guests "take a parking ticket of the casino" because the hotel park tickets are awarded, although the garage seems to be empty… Unfortunately, my impression was that you managed this hotel very unlovingly. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Edit! and review change! EDIT NOTE: The hotel has since refunded my payment and apologized for the issues I had. Everyone makes mistakes and they owned up to it and made it right! This is how customer service works and my new review rating reflects that. (ROOM A MESS! ) Checked into hotel at 6:30 PM Went to my room and it was a mess with blankets on floor and pillow bunched up. Looked in bathroom with all towels used and on floor. Went to lobby and asked for house cleaning. Return 45min later and room still a mess. Called front desk and they said sorry house cleaning is gone and we can't move you to another room. Paid over $200 for the night and I have no clean towels… NOT happy!

The staff was more than accommodating, friendly and helpful. The food was more than excellent and tastefully a dream.

Nice hotel. Very good rooms on 6th floor, but try to get a room with odd nr (better view). Good breakfast. Nice touch was the free beer I got upon arrival. But on the second day one of my three snickers I left in my room was missing… Never saw it again … First time this happened to me in a hotel room. Cost you a star… : — (

It was a lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a Sunday so limited bar and restaurant. Would gave been nice to have been able to make more than one cup of tea in the room though.

This hotel has a contemporary and comfortable furnishings, the staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly, the breakfast is superb and rich. I recommend to anyone who stops in Linz to stay overnight in this hotel!

Very centrally located hotel with comfortable and quiet rooms. Not up to the underground parking (narrow places) and wild parking without any respect of the spaces provided.

Good hotel also for meetings, though there's a smoking area in the dining area on the ground floor… a bit smelly.

Location very good, €69 for 2 persons is top in this situation. Wi-Fi was not perfect, but at least worked. Breakfast we not used. Top location.

Good location, rooms small modern well maintained. There were problems with the Wi-Fi. Never works according to the front desk and the computer in the lobby did not work, because supposedly a cable was stolen that for 5 days has not been replaced.

Room and breakfast are to standard, reception is friendly. I take issue with the smoking. My first impression was of the parking garage, since we arrived by car. It smelled like an old ashtray. The lobby is better, thankfully. However, our non-smoking room, in a non-smoking hall, smelled of smoke since our neighboring room was very much smoking. Then, to get to breakfast, you have to walk through the large smoking area of the restaurant. Even at 7 in the morning, the air was bad enough that my 3-year-old son covered his mouth and nose and ran at top speed to get to the relatively cleaner air where the breakfast is served. I don't plan on staying here again. If is a sad mark for Linz hotels if this is indeed "the finest and most prestigious hotel in town. ".

Panoramic junior suite very valid. View the location of the hotel is necessary to use the underground parking, though not exactly cheap.

Great modern hotel close to the city centre. From here you can get really good everything. The hotel also offers delicious breakfast and clean rooms.

Absolutely Perfect! The recently renovated suite was fabulous — — so spacious and modern with every convenience, including thermal sauna. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and extremely well maintained with so many fresh and beautifully presented items. The staff was very pleasant, customer friendly, and entirely accomodating to every request. For anyone visiting Linz, I cannot imagine a more ideal location and facility. Even the parking garage was impeccably maintained. It is great to see a hotel so well managed.
