Duxton Hotel Perth

Such a beautiful hotel. The rooms were really clean and the bathroom was modern and spacious. Amazing (and well used by us) touch having a filtered water tap! Only fault I had with the rooms was the pillows — every pillow in our room was awful, would've been better off sleeping on a pile of clothes. Yes, there is a pillow menu but by the time I got to bed (11pm) they did not answer the phone so couldn't get a different pillow.
Every staff member we came across was super friendly, professional and helpful. The pool area would be great if it was bigger, but it did the trick on a hot day. Buffet breakfast was really good but sooo expensive.

5 star prices with 2 star service. Requested interconnecting rooms as travelling with 2x kids. Checked in and door between rooms locked. Phone in main room not working. Had to wait for staff to open interconnecting door and they then had no door stop to keep the common door open. Left as in room 2, door slammed in then locked in room 2. Had to again wait. Notified concierge night before of check out to arrange for car to be ready as had early flight. Got downstairs and not ready. Again waited. Additional charges are thick and heavy for their services, however we are expected to disregard regular discrepancies on our end. Staff need to up their manner. Noticed no greeting to customers entering and exiting hotel. Ordered cocktails by the pool which were made beautifully and delivered professionally. Probably the only highlight. Also ordered overpriced cheese platter which was dull and underwhelming.

First time in Australia and first time visiting Perth. Excellent location and great facilities. Staff at reception super friendly and very courteous. The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy. No noise at all. A really good night sleep. Buffet breakfast is great value for money. Overall highly recommended and will come back when I am back in Perth next time round.

What a fabulous hotel and so well situated for walking to most of the sites. Lovely big bedroom with all necessities great lift system no waiting around for ages. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, lovely breakfast, lots to choose from, you’d be hard pushed to fault it, nice bar although it doesn’t stay open very late. You can eat in the restaurant in the evening however we were too busy to take advantage of that. All in all a lovely hotel which I would thoroughly recommend.

We booked two rooms on new year day. I am impressed with services and food quality. I called two hours before check in time and requested early check if possible. Sarah at the reception made it possible for us.
We had lunch at Fire Grill, Cheff Bob made everything thing on the menu very delicious. Pasta was finger licking.
Overall every thing was beyond expectations.

1st time staying in Perth and found myself staying at a very centrally located hotel. All local amenities are close by. Excellent welcome from all hotel staff, reception were very helpful and accommodating. Hotel rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner offered great selection of food and beverages. Overall an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Duxton! The hotel feels like a true sanctuary—beautiful, luxurious, and peaceful, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The valet parking was especially convenient for my elderly mum, which made everything so much easier. Incredible value for money—highly recommend!

I have travelled through more than 10 countries and stayed in many different hotels, and Dutox, truly has excellent service.
Today, I accidentally left my phone in a taxi. Andrea, who seems to be the hotel manager, helped me a lot. He contacted customer service for me, called and texted the driver many times, and was always willing to help, reassure, and stay by my side. He is very polite, friendly, and professional. He pays attention to me and even to other guests as soon as they walk into the hotel. I am truly very grateful to him.
The hotel is very clean, and the window view overlooking the lake is beautiful. The bed is soft and comfortable, and all the staff are very friendly. If my friends or family come to Perth, I will definitely recommend this hotel to them.
And finally, thank you to all the staff who helped me contact the driver to retrieve my phone, especially Andrea — he truly is an excellent hotel member (or mangager) ♥️

I had my daughter’s year 12 graduation party at the Duxton Hotel (Perth, WA) last weekend. We received outstanding customer service from Shoba who is the Director of Conferences and Events. Shoba went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Shoba was always available when we needed her, she coordinated every detail beautifully. Thankyou Shoba for all the effort you put into my daughter’s celebration, your dedication to your job and to Duxton Hotel is truly inspiring they are lucky to have you.

Dear Mr. Owner of DUXTON HOTEL PERTH,
Thanks for your response. I believe you have been clearly misinformed by your staff or in addition to not cleaning dishes dishes and plates properly your hotel also does not do proper record keeping.
Hence please NOTE THE FACTS BELOW:
1. I did order room service on 15th October. This is evidenced through invoice No. 00058586 which I can send over e-mail. If you believe that this invoice is incorrect then I would request for a refund since you have clearly overcharged me by your own admission. According to you, as you have publicly stated, I did not order room service.
2. No complimentary wine or fruit was offered to me and nothing of the sort was accepted. In fact I only received a clean empty plate when I complained regarding the dirty dishes lying in my room.
CLEARLY MR. Owner of duxton hotel, you are publicly stating untruths by saying that I did not order room service and that you offered me a bottle of wine and fruit that I accepted. I have evidence in the form of an invoice that shows a room service charge which clearly contradicts your claim that I did not order room service. Please get your facts and records straight. ALSO NO OFFER OF WINE OR FRUIT WAS MADE AND HENCE THE QUESTION OF ME ACCEPTING IT DOES NOT ARISE.
I urge the hotel to look into its recordkeeping practices which are clearly not accurate.
From my experience at the Duxton Perth I will always consider ANY HOTEL OTHER THAN DUXTON for future visits to Perth.

We have been hesitant to try older hotels on St Georges Tce but The Duxton is modern and classy — from the grand entrance, to the hallways, even the carpet in our room was grand. After a problematic check-in, Pema listened, understood our concern and really ensured our stay was enjoyable. A true professional and gentleman, it is easy to see why he is the manager. Thank you, Pema.
Would I stay there again? Yes (sooner rather than later)
Would I recommend? Yes.
Would I purchase as a gift for family and friends? Yes.
I should also mention that the Swan Lounge, even just little canapes were well done, and tasty… I find it is worth the price. We would happily attend again.

Just finished an AMAZING staycation at the Duxton Hotel. The excellent facilities, cleanliness of our club room, buffet breakfast, club lounge and wonderful staff are what made our stay so memorable. We received outstanding customer service from Asta and Nikki over the phone during booking to Pema the duty manager, Joanne, Rads at the restaurant, club lounge staff and Aneesh our valet driver. All of the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and their efforts were very much appreciated. We are certainly looking forward to returning again to the Duxton!

The Good:
1. Spacious room and modern bathroom with walk — in shower.
2. Large T V. And efficient Wi-Fi.
3. Comfortable bed and quiet room.
4. Close to cafes.
5. Very co operative staff. Allowed us a late checkout!
The Bad:
1. Avoid the restaurant. Outrageously pricey!
2. Lower level rooms have blocked views. Go for a higher level.
3. Flight Crews stay here. They can be noisy coming in late at night or early morning.
4. Don't park here. Very, very expensive.
All in all, in summary, it's a very good hotel, it's expensive, location a bit out of the Perth action but we'd come back again.
All in all, its a very good hotel!

Didn't stay there but my family did and by all accounts it was a luxury stay for 3 nights after arriving by train from Adelaide. I did have a smorgasbord breakfast in their luxuriously appointed dinning area. Food was well above average with a large selection of both hot and cold, savoury and sweet, with the option to order from the kitchen. The hotel itself is positioned in the heart of Perth, within walking distance to.

Had a really great stay at Duxton Hotel Perth. The hotel has an excellent location in the city center with easy access to the Swan River and shopping areas. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view from the upper floor.
The staff were very professional and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast was diverse and delicious, and the Firewater Grille restaurant offered excellent food. The facilities such as the pool, sauna, and gym were truly complete.
The only downside was that the price is a little higher than average, but the quality of service and comfort of the stay make it absolutely worth it.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at the Duxton hotel on multiple occasions. We stay in a club room and find their club lounge very enjoyable with nice snacks and excellent drinks service. We normally take advantage of their lunch buffet which is nice and excellent value. Breakfast buffet is also lovely great choices and a made to order egg station. It is a very classy hotel and their staff provide excellent service. We are looking forward to our next visit in a few months time.

I have stayed in many different hotels in Perth but this one stood out for all the right reasons! I was upgraded to a Club room which was very spacious and beautifully clean. There were lots of bathroom items/toiletries supplied and there is a filtered water source for drinking water without the need for plastic bottles. The Club Lounge was an unexpected bonus with complimentary snacks and drinks available every evening and overlooking the Swan River.
There were so many little touches that made our stay extra special and the thing that probably impressed me the most was the incredibly friendly staff — from the second we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and the customer service was absolutely exceptional on every level which I can’t say about many other hotels in the city.
We had a wonderful weekend and will most definitely stay here again — in my opinion this hotel is by far the best hotel in Perth!
