Just stayed 2 nights very simple room double bed TV toilet shower a great room and a great notes sleep close to the shops.

I travelled for work with Koh Living last week and wanted you all to know about an amazing motel I stayed in, in case you ever go to Yackandandah. It is is the Yackandandah Motor inn and is the neatest and cleanest motel or hotel I have stayed in. The caretakers for the night were Karen and Peter and they couldn’t have been more helpful or lovely. I even received a note on my windscreen which I have attached. Country Victoria, is there a better place to go? I don’t think so. Take a trip! You won’t be disappointed.

Centerally located right in the middle of town, the two pubs, cafes, thai resteraunt and shops are a close walk.
The owners are friendly and helpful with local information and the rooms and grounds are immaculately kept. The rooms are clean, tidy and well presented, very comfortable. Yackandandah is a lovely quiet picturesque town, very relaxing⁰ We highly recommend the Yackandandah Motor Inn and we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

Exceptional service. The guided tour of the room to show us how everything worked was a nice touch. Walked out in the morning and the car windscreen had been washed. Will definately be back in Yack and will stay here again. Will also recommend to friends.

We stayed here for one night recently and found the cleanliness, comfort and service great. It rained while we were there and one of the owners, Robert, quickly presented us with umbrellas to use! When leaving we noticed a note on our windscreen. The note said that our windscreen has been cleaned! Now that's service!

Immaculate detail, friendly staff who go above and beyond what you would expect for this type of accommodation (including waking up to our car windscreen having been cleaned that morning), fantastic location and cozy rooms. Note: my husband wanted to me to add that this is best motel he’s stayed in and he’s stayed in hundreds over his travels.
We will be back!

This is a great stopover on way to Sydney or Canberra. Clean, comfortable and excellent service in one of the most beautiful towns in Victoria.

Fantastic location in the middle of town with friendly, helpful owners. Great option if you're heading to ride the Yackandandah trails (located an easy 4km ride away).

The Yackandandah Motor Inn was absolutely lovely! Such a beautiful piece of the world and made even more joyous by this little Motor Inn. Everything was so clean and the owners were so friendly and helpful. We will definately return.

We booked in here to go mountain biking On the Yak tracks. The rooms were large, quiet, comfortable andexceptionally clean with a well equipped kitchen items. We went riding on a drizzly afternoon and the host could not done any more for us. He brought extra towels, a bucket and washed our cycle clothes for us. We would highly recommend staying here.

Very comfortable accommodation in the heart of town. All but next door to the Beachworth Bakery. Appeared newly renovated, retaining charm suitable to its location. Friendly host also washed the car windows on morning of departure before we were up.

This place is a 10 out of 10, just awesome. You find nothing that is more tasteful furnished and decorated — full of style and refreshing colurs — that is cleaner or more comfy or a host that is more accommadting and caring. Simply the best motel we experienced so far!

Very clean & tidy. Just a saunter around to the shopping main Street. The nice touch of cleaning our windscreen each day was most appreciated. We will return.

A lovely place to stay, comfortable rooms with all the requirements. Central location in the main street of Yackandandah, a very short walk from the local supermarket and several excellent restaurants. Owners were very helpful with suggestions on where to eat and what to do around town. We would definitely come back here. Thanks Robert and Chris.

Fabulous stay! Walked through our room, happy to answer any questions & pointed us in the right direction for breakfast the next morning. Super clean & super comfy. They went the extra mile & imagine our delight when we came out in the morning & our car windows had been cleaned! WOW! Thanks so much-highly recommend these guys!

Very neat and tidy motel in a great location. No food offered but no issue as it is right on High St with a number of choices for both breakfast and dinner.

Nicely appointed great staff great location.

My Friends have just spent five days here. They went with their grand kids and stayed in the family room. They said the standard was out standing and the owners Chris and Robert were amazing. the family room was spotless cozy and warm. the price was amazingly good. This is the second time they have stayed and said they will be back. Us too cannot wait to stay in this little treasure. A little bit of paradise in paradise they called it.

Great place, spacious and friendly welcome, even though we arrived late in the night with 20 minutes notice. Practical, charming & nicely furnished.

We stayed here for a quick visit. And OMG we were shocked. I have stayed in some expensive hotels and motels in my time, but rarely did they ever show the high standard shown to you at Yackandandah Motor Inn. It may be a little hidden but the service and friendliness shown by the owners is high, the cleanliness of the rooms was second to non, the beds, rooms and bathrooms were so clean. Well worth our stay and from our experience would recommend a stay here to anyone. Thank you.

Great place to stay. Decent size rooms. Very clean and staff is very helpful. Close to everything in town (not a big town to being with). Plenty of parking in front of rooms.

Very bad experience. Manager Robert was very rude and erratic making our stay very unpleasant and uncomfortable. He hassled me with text messages and phone calls before and after our stay making bizarre acusations. Never have I been treated so poorly as a paying customer. I will never be staying there again.

We were greeted with warmth by Rob who demonstrated great hospitality and ensured that we were comfortable in our room for the night. Check in was easy and a quick guided tour of the room we found that the room was very neat, clean and tidy with crisp sheets and extra bed covers and pillows were provided. The furnishings and the room were in very good order. The bed was comfortable and all amenities were provided from free WI-Fi to an iron and hairdryer, TV, small fridge, tea & coffee in the kitchenette and a good size shower with a rain head. Hot water was instantaneous for the morning shower and the bathroom was spacious there was enough area on the bathroom vanity bench for make up and all the basic traveller's bathroom items. The location was in the main street of Yackandandah so everything was at your doorstep the Java Cafe for Sunday breakfast was just 2 doors down from, the Yackandandah Hotel was across the road for a good bistro meal and the shops in the main street were an easy walk and had versatile merchandise to suit many needs and wants.

One of the nicest motels we have ever stayed in. Warm welcome, neat, tidy new room, mini kitchen and comfortable beds. Right in the centre of town with only a brief stroll to cafe or pub for dinner. Highly recommended.

Professionally managed with a genuine focus on customer service. On arrival Robert (joint owner with Chris) gave us a warm welcome and was efficient with getting us to our room after the three hour drive from Melbourne. The room (3) was well presented with some 'nice touches' with chocolates, cold water in the mini fridge and a some varieties of teas. Free Wi-fi was easy to log on and the television worked well. The bathroom was 'roomy' with plenty of towels. The shower pressure was good but the temperature of the hot and cold taps took some adjustment but once set did not change. The aircon worked well in external high temperatures without being noisy or being too cold. Parking spaces were comfortable with plenty of room for opening doors and it was easy to manoeuvre cars into position. The Yackandandah Motor Inn was centrally located in the town's High Street but far enough back to give us a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast at the motel is wisely not available as a range of Cafe's are available for breakfast and brunch are literally within 100 metres. The Bakery next door do a tasty curry pie and the Newsagent is only a few doors down for the morning papers. Cafes' are adjusting to the fact for some 'Yack' has recently been discovered which is frustrating if you are still on 'fast time' but 'refreshingly relaxing' if you are 'slowing off the pace'.
