Crowne Plaza orovided me with what I can only describe as two days of faultness service. Tje food was fresh and deivious. Everything was spotless. Staff were attentive and assisted with a smile; tjeir manners were impevcanle even by internatkonal standards. As a business venue, the meeting resources were perfect and ample. Facilities for using one's own computer or similar were excellent, located to the side of the entrance foyer (pleasantly withon the hotel's ambience without being exposed to too much distraction). Overall, not cheap but worth it, you get what you pay for. Prices are compatible with the same standard intermationally. I would return for business and I would definitey return for breakfast. For tourists, it is just as good. It is not near a beach buy fronts the sea (you have to cross a main road) and is 5 minutes from the old city, the prettiest part of Santo Domingo.

Very good place to stay with family or for meeting place, either of the two options are super good, the attentions of their staff is super special they really strive for that are one of the best hotels in town and the best hotel in the Malecon area in Nue Strode Santo Domingo, its very clean pool, a wide and always full casino, comfortable parking lots and the rooms all 5 stars, you feel in the clouds, the attentions and the food delicious very well prepared and at its point really good its restaurant the Nabu well Cozy a delicate place with fine attentions. Recommended 100%.

Sea view, very cozy, is located on the Malecon of Santo Domingo a few meters from the colonial zone. It is ideal to stay when you want to rest or to know the colonial zone or to enjoy the warm breeze of the beach.

The hotel and its attentions are excellent, has a wide variety of services, but something that I find strange is that it has few parking lots… If you are a guest and there are no activities in the hotel all right but if there is a party you must entrust your car to valet parking and do not know where it is going to park…

Good business Hotel, located on the Malecon of Santo Domingo, allows you to walk and know the surroundings, near the colonial city. Comfortable rooms with sea view, good restaurant, pool area, gym and spa, meeting room, casino.

Very good hotel and the location better yet. It has a nice pool. Also the view of the room was spectacular worthy of the Caribbean! It is within walking distance of the historic area and is just steps from the Malecon! The hotel has a very nice bar, a souvenir shop and also a casino of games.

Horrible horrible. The staff here are so rude and unpleasant. The front desk charged my credit card 3 times. When I brought it to the supervisor attention she became defensive loud and denied it. I called my bank abd showed her the transactions online and she refused to cancel the extra charges. She told me it was my banks fault and I needed to have them cancel the extra charges. When I ask to speak to her manager she called someone who did not speak English. The manger used the supervisor whom I wanted to report for being rude to translate.

All rooms have a sea view. The staff is super friendly. The food is Riquisima.

Very nice hotel. Great workout room, nice pool area also. Not in the the best of areas though, not real comfortable walking around at night. Outside the hotel the only friendly people are the ones trying to sell you something.

A very nice place in a not so nice neighborhood. Most of all, I am dismayed that the hotel did not let us know we were arriving on their Independence Day and what to expect. We had rented a car and as we approached the property there were MASSIVE road closures and tons of foot traffic. The hotel, it turns out, was right on the parade route and streets were therefore closed. After 30 minutes of creative and stoic driving under severe pressure, my husband got us through to the hotel parking lot. Note to all of you… February 27th is the D. R. 's Independence Day!

Room in excellent conditions. Pool super nice with a nice view. Unfortunately, The food is not so good and very expensive. But where is located an Uber can take in less than 5 mins to better food options in the Colonial District.

The hotel was very good, the room was comfortable and the rooms were very nice… and you could not sleep. With the change it improved quite the thing, comfortable beds. Good breakfast.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santo Domingo is a hotel of a more executive profile, at the height of a senior manager or a boss who comes from abroad and wants to take a good picture of our customer service. This has beautiful rooms, from the simplest to the presidential, spacious and beautifully decorated, but if you want to use it in a personal way is also advisable, even if its prices are not the most economical on the market. It is a Hotel suitable for the realization of social events. Training workshops, launches and professional or executive meetings, because it has beautiful halls suitable for any of the aforementioned activities.

This is the first time that I have an excellent experience of the Crowne chain, the place meets all the expectations of a place to work and relax at the same time although it seems ironic, also appreciated the service and friendliness of its staff, the food is tasty and the room have a spectacular sea view, the hotel is highly recommended.

Be careful when you book for business travel, include you bteakfast option at booking. Otherwise the cost of breakfast is twice as much! Up to the 25 Us dollars. Each. What a rip off. Then the front desk and Mr Edward Manager would just laugh at your claim. Sheraton next door is about the same rate but with much higher customer service. Take it from Gold status IHG…

This hotel is right on the strip and is conveniently located next to many of the hotels and restaurants. They have a famous soup that I cannot pronounce or spell but I highly recommend this soup it's in my pictures… about 25 minutes from the airport. Rooms are up-to-date in the pool View is outstanding.

Love the place. The staff is really nice, always helpfull. It's located infront of El Malecón. The rooms are super nice and clean. Love the view from them to the ocean. They have a good fitness center, open 24/7 for some us, exercise junkies. The hotel is close to everything. You can get a taxy there or Uber to anywhere. No complaints whatsoever. Recommended. Will stay there again.

I love this hotel in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I've been to DR 2 times for business and I stayed here on my last visit. The service was great, food great and room was great. Wonderful view into the community and also onto the sea. I have promised my wife a visit to DR and we will definitely stay at the Crowne Plaza…

Hotel Metropolitan. There are rooms to rent for events. There are some points that can be improved: availability may be best, there are few parking lots.
The attentions of the service are the best, the bathrooms are well.
Drinks served at the bars are a little expensive.

Staff very friendly. Rooms clean all of not smoking. Pool little deep ideal to relax it. The parking is sees a little neglected is it only that missing for them 5th star.

It's a good hotel with a perfect view to the ocean, I can tell it has one of the best casinos from the whole city, I really recommend it.

A bit ran down. Needs remodeling. The carpet in my room was stained in several places and the walls and doors were dirty with hand prints. Also, for some reason a hotel personnel would come by every morning between 7:30am and 8am and would try to come in while I was in the shower. Also, the restaurant in the hotel serves horrible food and are extremely slow.
