Nice looking motel. I think a must visit place.

It was an awesome experience. Enjoyed thoroughly my stay there. The place is close to nature and the staff is very talented and friendly. I have been there twice and the place is extremely good for both singles and families.

One should enjoy and relax to the peak. Extremely talented and welcoming staff. Clean and fully heigein washrooms. Nature lovers must visit. It was worth spending time there.

Mostly very good experience. Big room, stayed warm, comfortable bed. Mostly clean, but bathroom floor hadn't been swept/vacuumed when it kind of needed it. Still would return.

Great, homey, old style motel with a modern makeover. I really like the campus-style layout, with clusters of rooms in separate buildings. Roomy parking and friendly management.

Reasonable room, warm and comfy. Everything in the fridge was frozen though…

Great place to stay at an affordable price. (Cheapest I could find in Benalla) close to the city centre. Customer service was great too. Thank you so much for the stay. My only comment would be to please put a microwave in the single economy room as the food shops close early in Benalla so there mo way to heat any food up in the room.

Really great simple motel. Clean and sorted and organised. Great value. Super nice people. We used as a stopover as we headed nth from an evening arrival at tullarmarine. Couldn't nut out the heat pump at 930pm and the manager sorted for us at this late hour without even a hint of annoyance and only smiles and helpfulness. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Room was adequate for a night between desinations. Not near town, so ideal if you just want to get straight to sleep. Room was pleasant, if a little old.

Very basic room. Upon arrival the room was found not have been serviced after the previous occupants — no pillowcases and the bin hadn't been emptied. Thankfully, as it was a 2 night stay, the room was serviced on the second day. Although, as I had an early departure the next morning, I found it necessary to request crockery and cutlery as almost nothing was provided. Overall a disappointing experience.

Excellent front desk service! The gentleman there was extremely helpful and accommodating, even when our online booking through an external site failed. The room was just what we needed, clean, comfortable and modern. Of all nights spent in different hotels/motels, I have never had a better nights sleep than I did here! Will definitely be coming back to Rose City Motor Inn!

Beautiful fresh, clean, welcoming room. Room looked newly refurbished. Lovely managers who were happy to stay up late so we could get a room at short notice. Much appreciated, would highly recommend.

The motel is on the edge of town, but it is only a couple of minutes drive away from the CBD. The rooms are old, but have been freshened up to look more modern. It is quite comfortable. The free Wi-Fi is slow and had been dropping out on me the previous night. There is not much road noise, so I'm happy.

Found it to noisy, lots of trucks going past. Wi-Fi was also very slow Nice rooms but there were a lot of dead bugs under the lights.

Would not recomend this place. Take your buisness elsewhere. (In response to your response Peter) 1. I do not smoke 2. The others (From our company) used your cigarette bins out the front. 3. The person staying in room 2 was NOT from our company and was probably the person who left all the cigarette butts and other rubish that you are complaining about… yes he was having a drink with us but we are not responsible for his actions nor do we need to pick up after him. 4. We put all but 2 of our empty bottles in the bin because the bin was full. The two left out were placed in the ashtray bin out front which should of been cleaned anyway so don't see a problem with that. 5. There may of been 5 beer bottle caps left on the ground at most. 90% of them were in the bin… perhaps if you had a bottle opener in the room this would not of been an issue. Your complaint is not warrant and myself and the others took offence to your email that you sent my company. next time take some photos for proof and maybe check who stayed in what room before you have a winge. I stand by my review 100% and don't worry we will never stay here again nor would I recomend this place to anyone. Next time get your facts right.

Set amongst beautiful gardens the friendly helpful staff made us feel welcome. They had plenty of local knowledge and happily provided info on the many local attractions including the Winton Wetlands. Very clean comfortable rooms and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a smorgasbord very well priced also. Easy to find at the roundabout as you enter Benalla from Melbourne side.

Solid breakfast for a cheap price. Sorted out trailer parking for us. Good stuff.

Stopped over on the way to Melbourne and stayed in a premium room with breakfast and found the room clean and spacious with comfortable bed and overall good value. Would definitely stay again.

Nice motel on the main route in Benalla. Clean and comfortable rooms which are spacious. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
