We loved our stay in Stanley at the Ship Inn. Everything in the room was perfect, the gardens and amenities were immaculate.
Even the checkin process was clear and easy.

Stayed in lots of of great accommodation all across Tassie but this place is the pick of the bunch.

Wow, wow, and wow — what an incredible place. If you make your way up to the Nut and look down, you’ll see exactly why this park has the best real estate in town.

I live in Melbourne and travel frequently for work and have seen some beautiful places in Australia.

We stayed in King Suite No. 1 for 2 nights early in April 2025 at Noah's on Victoria Street. Talk about attention to detail, this place is tops!

This is a great B&B. Our room eas spacious, comfortable, and clean. The shower was great.
The room has modern facilities yet retains its old cottage charm.

Utterly fantastic town. The proximity/isthmus, scenery, and architecture are all a credit to Tasmania. The Nut just adds to the value of this wonderful town.

Great location and super great sea view. Just be reminded that check-in and reception is in a different location at Stanley Hotel (2min drive)

Everything about Poet’s Cottage was excellent. The hosts were very attentive and all communication with them was quickly addressed.

We expected top quality and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Geraldine and DAvid were wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were outstanding. Our seaview room was gorgeous and access and parking great.

What a pleasant surprise this gem is. So very comfortable with everything you need plus more. Very nice views too. I’d come back!

Superb accommodation in stunningly beautiful and historical Stanley overlooking the bay at the base of The Nut.

Friendly and helpful staff with great recommendations of the local area. Great sized room with all you need. Pay the extra mini bar fee for the red liquorice in chocolate, beautiful.

The receptionist at lunchtime was great and very helpful.

Awesome place to stay. Rooms are small but all you need is in there. Comfy beds and very clean.
The meals are amazing!. The man that greated me and helped me out when I got there was lovely.

Been to Strahan on many occasions, but first time using Stanley Hotels apartments. The twin Pol and Pen are walkable to penguins, the Nut, to food and coffee places.

Loved the view and location right in the heart of Stanley 🤩.
The 2 Double/Queen beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Definitely need an upgrade.

Great two day stay. Cute town and lots to see. Big studio type room. They charge if you use washing machine and dryer.

This is a stunning accommodation with all the conveniences. Horizons showed me that being right on the beach is not necessarily the best. The view was so relaxing and spectacular.

This was my fifth stay at Horizon Deluxe Apartments — and it never disappoints!

Very nice and clean rooms. Guest laundry included. 6 km from town and the Nut. Quiet and isolated.

We had cottage number 4 which is 2 storeys. It was very quaint, cosy, comfortable and clean, with a lovely ocean view. Walking distance to numerous dining options and a supermarket. Highly recommend 🤗

We had a wonderful three night stay at the Ark. It is well located with views overlooking the ocean, with convenient parking and a short walk to cafes and restaurants.

The Ark is beautifully located in Stanley with water view frontage. We stayed in the Admiral room which was upstairs. It is a very spacious room, including a large lounge area for relaxing.

Quite location out of town featuring lake view from all rooms. Not a huge 2 bedroom place but very nice — well presented and spotless.

What a beautiful place to stay and it’s dog friendly! We had such a lovely night stay here and the owners at very friendly.

This property sets the bar for all other properties we go to now. The extra thought that went into the little details made it fabulous. Just the thing after a long day exploring.
