Genrous accomodation. Perfect scones at Devonshire tea, friendly service and an amazing heritage manor house and buildings. Perfect!

We had our wedding at Glen Derwent, Liz and Rob were fantastic, they made the whole day easy, we stayed in the accommodation they were so comfortable. We honestly couldn't have picked a better place to get married at.

Beautiful friendly service amazing food and wow the price WOW!

I popped in to Glen Derwent this morning with a friend. We experienced the most delicious scones and tea in the garden alongside the croquet lawn.
I was thoroughly entertained by the peacocks, ducks, chickens and their young skittering all over the place. The rose garden is exquisite too with the biggest bumble bees I’ve seen in a very long time. If you’re passing by I recommend you stop in.

Beautiful place to stay. We stayed in Tank Cottage, it is so cosy, we could not have been happier. Thanks for having us.

Liz is the consummate host. The rooms and bathrooms lovely. I've visited a few times, but this is the first time I stayed overnight. Will be back. Sad to leave.

Lovely Devonshire tea this morning at Glen Derwent. Cold and rainy day and we rocked up unannounced. They soon lit the fire and produced beautiful home made scones with home made jam. And lovely chutney for the savoury scones one of our group chose. Very friendly. Showed us the accommodation which looks great and can be tailored to suit lots of situations. Eg friends and family reunions. Beautiful gardens. We’re locals but will return. Thank you.

Glen Derwent is a beautiful place for a lovely Sunday breakfast (the high tea is amazing too! ) The food was plentiful, delicious, well presented and the staff were very attentive.

I thoroughly recommend Glen Derwent for High Tea. We visited yesterday for my birthday.
The food was delicious and plentiful. We couldn't eat it all!
The tea room was beautifully appointed with gorgeous perfumed fresh flowers on the tables. The service was warm and friendly and the peacock and pea hens were an added bonus. We will revisit for lunch on the spring to experience the wisteria in full bloom.

Had a wonderful Afternoon with my daughter and Granddaughter yesterday. Out High Tea was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Everyone involved should be very proud. Thank you we will return.

What a lovely setting with friendly hosts and service. The Devonshire Tea included scones that were the lightest I think I've ever tasted. Lovely cottage to stay in and the other rooms are delightful. Take some time out and make the effort to drop by, well worth the visit!

Really enjoyed the tour & discovering the hidden paintings. Will visit again for afternoon tea.

I stayed at Glen Derwent and attended the Cracker Night celebrations. Awesome event. I hope to be there again next year.

Had an amazing High Tea for Mother's Day at Glen Derwent and it was spectacular. What a beautiful hidden treasure. We will certainly be back. Would love to do this again in the spring or summer months. Well done for today. The pressure was on and you didn't succumb to it. Beautiful place and our seats by the little 'fire' were very welcomed and I feel we had the best seats in the house. I'd give 10 stars if the rating system allowed it.

Went to check out the place for an event later in the year. Lovely friendly owners, peaceful gardens, rustic rooms. Great place.

The surrounding are beautiful from the gardens to the buildings. The hosts and staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had my best ever Melbourne cup with a delicious High Tea and an entertaining fashion parade with a difference. Glen Derwent is definitely worth a visit. Thank you Liz, Rob and team for your hospitality.

We love Glen Derwent, have enjoyed afternoon teas and now an awesome Melbourne Cup event and high tea. A beautiful, historic home and gardens, delightful hostess and staff and wonderful food. We just can't recommend this venue highly enough.

We had our beautiful wedding at Glen Derwent this weekend! Liz and Rob were amazing hosts going above and beyond any other. Such a caring, warm and welcoming venue for all ages. The wedding party and their families stayed with us at the house for the weekend. Liz and Rob made us all feel like part of their family, even entertained the kids with the animals and baking cupcakes while everyone was preparing for the day. Our amazing photographer Steve from Wittle White Wolf and amazing Videographer Dom from Captured Moments Productions claimed this venue a candy store for their work! Definitely put this venue on your list you certainly won’t be disappointed!

Had a lovely lunch with 5 friends at Glen Derwent today.
Sitting in the glorious sunshine at a beautifully laid table, enjoying a choice of creamy potato & leek, or mushroom soup. I tried both, very delish. Served with savoury scones. Then came a platter of mini Shepard pies & savoury quiche served with home made relish. Finished off with a very nice shortbread all made with love by Liz. Hugh pot of tea & plunger coffee, bottomless of course.
Topped off with a tour of the house & garden. Thank you Liz for a wonderful afternoon.
