Hobart Hotels near North Hobart Oval

I was very disappointed when I tried to call for many times, and get hold on the phone with NO answer from reception about the car parking.

Great views! We enjoyed the open space of the hotel. Comfy bed. Clean. Good lighting. Big windows. Near lots of good places. They held our luggage for us before our flight which was super helpful.

Arrived on an evening flight, quick check-in and had a great corner room on the 11th floor.
Clean with good facilities and plenty of space.

I booked a king bed and had a lovely view of Hobart city and the harbour side from level 13. The room was cosy and clean with great amenities.

Check in and out was seamless. Hobart is an easy town to walk around so the position of the hotel was good and if you are hiring a car to travel around the Island, Avis is next door.

We booked an apartment room which was brilliant for our week-long stay — small kitchen and separate living/dining room on Level 9. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at The Rox in apartment 6 (Elizabeth).
The apartment is beautifully restored with thoughtful vintage touches. Mary is fantastic, very kind and helpful.

Location was central to restaurants and weekend markets. Apartment was comfortable with well equipped kitchen and laundry. Free parking was an added bonus.

Very comfortable hotel in a good location in town and a very short walk to the harbour and information centre where many day tours leave.

We recently enjoyed a 5 night stay at Movenpick in a Harbour View room. The view was fantastic! So lovely to see the sailboats and the sun rise and set.

This place is my home away from home. The lounge area is so cozy and the staff are rad.

I've been meaning to stay here for years, rather than just coming in for cocktails during happy hour. Well worth it!
The staff/owners are so nice and helpful. The whole place is funky and quirky.

The hotel is spacious, clean and adorably retro. But in saying that, it has been kept up to date.

We came off a red eye plane trip from Perth WA and as we are in our 70s, we were knackered. They found a room for us quite a bit earlier than check in time. We were very grateful.

The staff at reception is excellent and they pre-empt the need of the guest. The ensure the stay is as seamless as possible.

We loved staying at this stately home in a beautiful historic neighborhood. The downhill walk to town was a quick 10 minutes. Returning was uphill, but not onerous.

Lovely 1 bedroom apartment includes huge, clean and modern bathroom. Extremely comfortable king size bed with soft linen. Nice little kitchen nook and separate living area.

Nice old buildings full of Character, rooms had no aircon (only heating) but the room didn't need it, it seemed to keep a nice temp throughput our stay.

Great pub with friendly accommodating staff. Rooms very clean, comfortable and good rates. Pub meals are very good too. Located 15 minutes walk to Constitution Dock and Salamanca Market.

Stayed here with the family, could not fault the hotel. Staff, service and cleanliness were excellent.

Great apartment, comfy beds, excellent bathrooms with bidets, well setup space, light filled and quiet. Awesome team of friendly, helpful and professional staff. Common areas well presented and clean.

Neat, very clean. Simple, basic. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Shower quite small, would be very difficult if you were tall or stocky.

Great location to be based — it is not a 5star hotel, it’s basic, clean and cheap! If you are on a budget it’s ideal! You only need a room to base yourself out off and to shower and sleep in my eyes!

We had a great stay at Argyle accommodation. We chose Argyle as they are pet friendly, it is centrally located being right in the middle of the CBD, a very short walk to Woolworths.

Amazing stay, Ange is Super generous and accommodating, tailoring everything to us. Perfect central location, great prices and most importantly for us dog friendly — couldn’t ask for more.

I'm not sure why I chose this location to stay, but good reviews will always help me make the decision on a hotel/motel.

My wife and I spent five days at the Tower, last week. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room had everything we needed and the staff were great.

A lovely hostel, I made a reservation before and after my booked tour with Under Down Under in Tasmania and also spent several nights there during the tour.

My wife and I had a fantastic 3 night stay at Sanctum Boutique Apartments.

The rooms are comfortable with all utilities and amenities you'd expect in a modern hotel.

Clean and spacious apartment! Great for a stay in Hobart with walking distance to the city and a lot of restaurants/breweries/cafes close by.

It's a good place to crash if you are on a budget. The rooms are not great, but you meet some interesting people in the dining, lounge and rec areas.

Stayed here for two nights, room was tidy, comfortable nights sleep, wash areas cleaned daily and had no issues. Lawrence on reception was very helpful and informative.
