Review of RACV Hobart Hotel 4*

We recently stayed at this hotel (Sept 2015) for 6 nights. Overal we had an amazing experience. Our flight arrived in the evenning and by the time we arrived at the hotel it was almost 8pm. The staff at reception were very helpful and the check-in process was very smooth. We were also informed that the restuarant would still be open for a meal if we like. The room was a lovely room with all of the modern ammenities, including nesspresso machine, mini bar, spa bath etc. We had a great view of the city centre (although not much to look at) as well as Mount Wellington around to small parts of the Harbour. The hotel is very centrally located having only needed to use the car for day trips to Port Author and Huon Valley (a great driving trip recommended by the restuarant manager). The restruant served breakfast daily which was either a well stocked buffet or made to order food (when the hotel wasnt fully booked). All of the staff, from reception to the food and beverage and cleaners were all very professional and friendly offering advice, and a friendly chat about things to do. The only negative thing that comes to mind, (which is very insignificant) is the street access to the carpark is a little bit dificult at first as it down a lane way off a side street, perhaps this could be provided to guests prior to their arrival, however as I said I believe this is a very insignificant aspect of our stay. Check-out was quick and very smooth, all up it was a wonderful hotel to stay at and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Hobart.
