INCREDIBLE and absolutely will be back in other seasons. Staff were wonderful, you get more than what you pay for with your room and the food was exceptional. A little sad we didn’t get snowed in and forced to stay another night 😅😅

There are so many positive things I can say about this hotel. We are having a really great time staying at this time of the year. Our cabin has fireplace and heater keeping us warm, the spa is great specially for honeymooners and there is a heated rack for towels. The space is big enough for a comfortable stay and the balcony facing the forest is just great. Rock wallabies and different species of birds are our constant visitors too. We also enjoyed our dinner at the Hellyers restaurant. The food was great—hats off to the chefs—and the couple serving (waitress & bar man) were amazing. They move with so much coordination while serving and they were just lovely—polite, professional and soft spoken. The wedding cake they made for us is also stunning.

I had an incredible 2 nights here in the premium spa cottage. It was quiet, private and super comfortable. The lady at the reception desk was just fantastic and nothing was too much to ask for, she deserves a medal!
I’m already planning my next short getaway here.

I liked the warm, cosy cabin, but it was quite small (we stayed in the Premium Spa Cabin — I'm not sure how it's different from the regular spa cabin as they look the same online). Check in/out was easy, all the staff were professional and helpful. However, the food was overpriced. The "breakfast basket" was $50 for four slices of bread, four eggs, bacon, two mini yoghurts, two juices and four packets of cereal/muesli. They're also delivering their restaurant dinner meals in take-away containers to the cabins — it was nice to have a hot meal delivered, but it was very expensive for simple food that was missing restaurant touches (e. G. $12 for sliced bread, without dipping oil or butter, $27 for a veggie curry served without rice, and more for a "pork belly" that was simply 3 pieces of cooked pork). We'll definitely bring our own food next time.

Quiet, clean, safe — just a very great facility where everyone has their privacy.

Because they made my birthday last year one of the best. We got delayed so the made us beautiful sandwich players and from my daughter: this is one of the best parmis I’ve ever had.

We loved our stay here. Cosy cabin, excellent food at the restaurant and the staff are awesome… They were even great with our kids!
Would definitely stay again if we come back to Tasmania.

We got stuck half way up, and Robert came to the rescue, thankyou so much for all the help even before we arrived at the village, and the staff were great, so warm and friendly. Just had an amazing meal in the restaurant tonight to celebrate my 50th. We stayed here last year, and this year 2 nights, we will be back. Thankyou wilderness village.

Cabin nice and clean. No restaurant on Sunday & Monday so came up here in prepared. When we complained to the staff she said she was the marketing manager and argued with us. All she was interested was in her being right. No concern for our complaints only interested in that her opinion was the right one. Then we we subjected to exorbitant price for a bottle of wine. A bucket list trip dampened by inadequate faculties and un-compassionate service. Think twice about booking here. Got more service from the discovery park. Wish had have booked there.

The most amazing place to stay and recooperate, I especially love the in room music and no television. So relaxing! The Spa is gorgeous, I really recommend the couples massage and the wild life is really friendly. We are going back next Month. The Restaurant was amazing too!

Five star every tthing. We stayed in the luxury spa cabin, simply perfect. We had dinner at the restaurant, amazing food, and five star service from the dining staff.

Great location but wouldn’t stay here again. Very out of touch accomodation, with a very poor quality overpriced restaurant.

Nice place. Good beds and plenty of room in the studio cottage. We stayed here as the rooms had a range top so we could cook if we wanted.

The spa cabins are amazing, so cozy, comfortable and surrounded by nature. The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The food at Hellyers is excellent as well, so a great all round place to stay! Hence my hubby and I just finishing our 3rd trip here and we'll be back next year!

This is a very beautiful place loved watching the weather and we had a possum on the verandah one night and two mornings there were many crows on the verandah. Saw a wombat in the area around the cabin we were in. Love the view it was great to wake up to.

We have a very good time here. Staff was very friendly and our room was so cleaned and warm. Delicious food especially the dessert!

Came here after a fresh dump of snow that blocked up most of the roads. Several cabins had the water pipes frozen but they relocated any affected customers. After ploughing the roads (while we sat in the lounge with the hilarious and welcoming staff) we were guided to our accommodation which was fantastic. I highly recommend staying here, its beautifully situated, well appointed and the staff were great. The cabins can feel a touch close together, but they are aligned in such a way so to obscure vision, which is good given the large spa in the room that faces out a window into the bush. Very relaxing.

Loved its simplisty. … they have perfected Keeping it simply while still being very considerate. They offer heating blankets, kitchen, car parked right at the front door and other services without adding the heavey marked price. Loved the wild life that visited…

Stayed 4 nights in spa cottage. Very modern and clean. Lovely, private area with Bush views. We ate at restaurant one night and self catered the rest. Spa very nice, however the water very slow to fill as tap flow was very low.

Beautiful place go see tassie devil display. Well worth the drive. Discovery caravan RV park very good.

Visited for dinner only at the restaurant, tried a selection on offer from the menu. The venue was high class and the staff were lovely. Now, I'm not a trained food critic so can not find enough of the eloquent superlatives to accurately describe this meal, so all I can say is … Everything we tried was truly amazing!

Comfy bed can ease all the pain from hiking all day. The shared kitchen is quite functional and the shower room is clean and warm. Had good experience staying here.

A great place for a private getaway to cradle mountain. Just a few minutes drive to the visitor centre. Clean friendly restaurant and staff friendly and helpful. Dissapointing expensive breakfast served on small tasting plates though. Dinner at the restaurant is tating plates only and I would recommend planning only 1 meal only there as the selection is limited particularly if you have dietary requirements. Suggest you go next door to the cradle mountain hotel for an amazing buffet breakfast for 2 dollars more The hotel dinner menu is great and reasonably priced. A buffet dinner is also available there as well. Perhaps you may prefer to do your own cooking in your cabin. Good kitchen facilities provided in the cabin.

Great cabin super private loved the wild life we seen so close to our cabin bath was awesome worthwhile to visit but not exactly cheap but worth the money.

Awesome hiking tracks, lots of wildlife, the cottages are clean and comfortable. Staff is really friendly! Would surely recommend!

Wonderful place immersed in nature. The nicely decorated cottage with balcony and jacuzzi. Much appreciated after the long walks in the park.

We stayed here in Villa 4 just past the office last week for one night. All very clean and quiet, loved the simple and secluded spot, all we needed fridge beds and good hot water showers. You need to have your own food as the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday nights. We were able to buy all we needed at the small shop at the entrance to the caravan camping park next door but quite expensive. The Hotel pub / lodge some 2 km into the park has good meals and drinks also bit expensive like all mountain villages. We recommend these villas as they are only 200m from the visitor bus station across the road.

Good location clean everything available for food preparation is unfortunately due to the unique position and exposed position very expensive.

Clean, warm cabins with good self-catering equipment. Wildlife at your doorstep, literally. A couple of staff not too friendly, but others were welcoming. Very close (walk) to NPWS office for shuttle bus and tickets.

Stayed in the premium spa cottage for 2 nights which was lovely with a gas fire and central spa and lovely fluffy towels. Did the Dove Lake walk which took approx 2 hrs and can highly recommend as it has a wonderful view of Cradle Mountain. On the morning we were to leave there was a lot of snow overnight so we couldn't leave as early as planned as it was unsafe. The staff were wonderful providing regular road condition updates. Fearing we were to be snowed in I was quite upset but the staff were very supportive offering coffee, cookies and a hug. When there was a break in the snow the Manager Grant was wonderful going the extra mile and snow ploughing the entrance road down to the main road for us. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy all Cradle Mountain has to offer. Thank you Graeme and Tania Dodds.

We are only here for one night and we were excited to dine at your restaurant as there isn't much food around here. We waited an hour for our share plates while we listened to other diners asking for their meals. The waitress said to them, they were one down in the kitchen but when you look over at the kitchen, they are laughing as if it's their service has finished for the night. The first share plate arrived and then we waited 30 minutes for the next share plate. Once we received all the share plates, I felt as though I had ordered a meal from the canteen at a footy club. We received no apology or compensation for the miserable meal. We ended up going home to eat our breakfast. I recommend going to Sheffield to buy some pies from the bakery and heat them in your microwave for dinner. On the upside, our room was beautifully warm but it would want to be.

Cannot recommend this village high enough the room was very well done and spotless
The restaurant food offered a great range of food that was gluten free we enjoy the concept of sharing meals but maybe could offer full meals as well
The bar might need updating to offer more of a range of beers cidar
Over all the service was fantastic from the reception to the restaurant
Can't wait to stay there again.
