We always stay here when visiting from Vic. Don't book through a parasite online service. Phone and book direct. Ask for the online discount. Brilliant curry accross the road. Shopping centre next door with chemist and servo. Lovely people. Ask for fresh milk at the desk.

Great rooms, friendly staff, one of the better motels in the area.

Fantastic family owned business with friendly helpful staff. Basic rooms but extreemly affordable and has multiple facilities nearby including public transport into the city.

Unfortunately the person in our room before us had blocked up the smoke detector and had been smoking in our room. There was no extra rooms available and while the staff were very nice about it all they did not actually do anything about our stinky room.

Don’t use Wotif to book the accommodation if your kids traveling. When search for best price on hotels, you may come across Wotif but your will not realise the compromise behind that. I got a bad experience this month when book for my family (including 10YO son) Wotif booked my selected room through Expedia but when I check-in they deducted additional $50 for my son saying his booking not part of the offered price. The worst part is “Welcome Inn 277” or “Golden Chain” in Adelaide deducted this money without my consent. I don’t recommend anyone to stay in this hotel as they will access your credit and do what they want.

Handy place to stay in when coming in to Adelaide from the south, price is reasonable and the staff always friendly, you have numerous places to visit while you stay.

We left our booking till late and needed rooms from the 30th of December. The staff were very accommodating as we had family arriving on different dates. We were able to book two adjoining rooms, which worked well for us; they were not big but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Air-conditioning was excellent as were the staff. They were very friendly and accommodating as we stayed for a week and our rooms were cleaned after we left each day in the morning — even on the two days when we all slept in and didn't get out of the room till lunch time. They gave us a good deal on the price and we would recommend them to others. There is a supermarket that is a short walk away and a shopping centre that is a 2 min drive away. It is very easy to travel to the city, airport, beach and hills; all approx 20 mins away by car. They also had free Wi-Fi.

Stayed for one night for each of the last three months. I was remembered, looked after and made welcomed each time with the same friendly enthusiasm and genuine care. The staff made sure that my breakfast was exactly as I wanted each time. Very well priced for the comfort, cleanliness and facilities offered. The location is perfect for my business needs. I will continue to stay at Welcome Inn 277 each time I visit Adelaide on business and recommend it to anyone else that cares about convenience of location, personal attention, comfort and assistance at a good price. We stayed here for two nights and I won't complain about a thing! With regards to the cost of hotels/motels in Australia, this is very reasonably priced. Nice clean room with a comfy bed and plenty of channels on the TV. Complimentary Wifi included — free of charge (its good internet too). Powerful shower to boot. I asked for a late check-out of 2 hours and this was no issue at all. Would recommend this to my family and it is certainly a good un.

We hired 4 bedroom house for 250$ /night excellent value.

Friendly and clean, the staff and free internet were great.

I thought the place was great, nothing fancy just clean, comfortable, and covenient. Had an issue with a noisy neighbour and the staff were fantastic, they attended to the issue straight away, real friendly people.

Affordable accommodation, home cooked breakfast, in a great location. Friendly staff and great service! And to top it off I got free internet. Deffinatly going back.
