It's just getting tired and needs some heavy maintenance, not sure if it has changed management but it has gone down hill. The only redeeming feature is it is close to some amazing restaurants. DO NOT EAT in the hotel restaurant, we sent food back. Make sure you book a parking spot.

The staff were friendly & helpful. Recommended a Chuck’s Wagon for a burger & beer, which was a great place. Nice little cafe’s in the area and very walkable to the CBD. Plus there is a free bus to take you back to North Adelaide when your cold & your feet are sore.

Most expensive room on the property, yet smelt like dog / pets, a very strong pet smell, including carpet stains that were not properly treated! It was the first break we had had away from our children in years (since March 2017) yet we were rudely woken by a child running up an down the hall way am jumping an playing on the stairs (just outside our room) NOT IMPRESSED!

Absolutely horrid food, $19 for chewy bacon (not crispy either) and scrambled eggs that tasted and had the consistency of old custard!
The bed, had a lovely sign saying, welcome to the cloud! Yea the cloud with bricks in it! This was a very very important weekend end away for both my wife an my self (ten year wedding anniversary) now we wish we just stayed at home! Constantly had that feeling of being watched! Bree was absolutely up her self, and stereotyped us straight away apon arrival, unexceptionable! we paid weeks in advance in full with the intent to stay longer, 5 mins after arriving I canceled the etc day, an by the next morning we cancelled our last day aswell so instead of a 3 day holiday to relax as a loving couple we could only stay 2 nights! The rooms are so out dated! Bathroom was mediocre again very out dated, we got so angry, because even our shower is better at home!
Oh and about the shower, water kept going freezing to burning, so we couldn’t even have a good shower!

Left item behind, got told would post out that day and charge my credit card for a $2 postage fee. No parcel within a week so called, Motel said would chase up and call me back. Had to ring 3 times to finally find out had not been posted and they charging me for collecting after spending $375 on room. Terrible service from front desk.

Room was neat, carpets well worn but beds was great. Not to lose future business, the House staff need to be careful when writing room no’s. Down as I am very concerned with receiving a call from Front Counter Manager Bree, questioned about the whereabouts of the rugs we “apparently” rang through for and did we “accidentally take them”
Bree became hostile when told we did not ring for rugs and with my question if the $100 security charge had been cancelled. Bree’s tone and response leads me to believe she was having a “bad hair day”.
Would be great place after a skinful at the footy though.

Stayed with my son. Ladies at reception were friendly. The room was spacious. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan which made it very wet humid and uncomfortable. There was mould. All and all a nice place. Cheap but needs renovations. New bathrooms. Ventilate create fresh air please.

Room is comfortable traditional wardrobe shower over bath ramp access is via side entrance lottery for free car park great self laundry.

Stayed here for 1 night during a busy time in Adelaide. Got a free upgrade and discount on dinner. Dinner was great besides the wait and the rooms were good with a balcony you can smoke on. Will be back.

What a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The staff are so friendly and hospitable will def stay again.

Great location in North Adelaide. Plenty of places to eat and a comfortable walk into the city centre.

Good central location, quiet room, fold out lounge unusable as it covered the bathroom door, no disabled bathroom rooms on ground floor, lovely staff, usual OK breakfasts, overall price good.

Perfect location to just about everywhere in Adelaide. Great rates and friendly staff. I've stayed here 3 times and will continue to come back, so convenient!

Well maintained, proximity to the oval and in the heart of adelaide hills main street. Nice pool and spa facility with well stocked and tasty inhouse restaurant option. Room was decent as well.

I booked this place in advance for my wedding dinner party.
I provided the number of guest, their names, a table layout and which guest had what meals.
We arrived at 6:30pm and in advance I was told the food would be out at 7:15pm. By 8:00 food just started to arrive and by 8:30pm we still have a hadful of guest without meals. Including a 4 year old, father of the bride, sister of the bride and others.
When I spoke to the manager, a received a very desensive attitude and no… help or apologie.
Most guests, myself included we not happy with the meals we received and I even had a meal mix up with an allergy order. I would not recommend this place for large groups of important events. Disappointment on my wedding day.

Great service and a good low price. They encourage people to book directly to avoid the higher online costs. The staff were friendly and remembered us between visits. The shower pressure was amazing, and the rooms were quiet. Nice sauna/spa/pool area outside the dining room if you don't mind an audience around breakfast and dinner times.

Lovely quiet and quaint inn, outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms are neat and tidy, however slightly outdated. Pool and spa are a great addition. Minimal food and beverage options but with O'Connell Street just outside with an abundance of options it is not an issue. Great location and friendly staff.

This place advertises "free parking". However, 3 days before I was to check into the hotel, they sent me information that was buried in a lengthy email that there was actually a charge for parking and that you aren't guaranteed a spot. What the heck am I supposed to do with my car? Park it in Melbourne? Free parking was one of the main reasons why I booked this hotel. They should not lie to nor mislead their customers.

The hotel is expensive compared to the local competition — especially downtown. The breakfast is very light. Especially for its price. The rooms are OK and air conditioned. There's free parking. There is Wi-Fi… But very limited…

The biggest problem here is parking, it is best to make an appointment with the hotel early, because the seats are limited, but the reception staff is very sincere apology, the hotel out of a whole street are restaurants, the hotel has ATMs, rooms are a bit old, the overall walk a classical style bar, I personally recommend Adelaide Granada Motor Inn, the room is spacious and bright, the room also has a microwave, toiletries to double, here on 1 parts also have very little weight, the map shows 4 stars, but I think it is OK.

The area has a wide variety of places to eat. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed.

We only ate at the restaurant. Excellent food and service and you could actually here yourselves talk, nice and quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean, polite and helpful staff. Will not recommend to eat there though since there are many good places to eat just opposite the street.

We stayed here last night, 1/9/17 and the whole experience was very good. The room was very well appointed and the receptionist was very pleasant and made us feel quite welcome. I would recommend my friends to stay here if they required somewhere to stay.

Have stayed here on business on several occasions for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. The location is very good and room rates are reasonable. Close to many restaurants and pubs. Seems like management has changed and counter staff are not as friendly as days gone by but I'm sure they will improve.

Another great stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Close and handy to everything (well, lots of things). Clean, comfortable rooms. If you can, arrive mid-afternoon to increase your odds of snagging a car-park (or call ahead and pay $20 to reserve one). Great value for money.

Booked and paid for a spa room via a booking site. Cost quoted was $157.50 confirmed in writing. When I arrived at my room there was no spa and was told that there were not any spa rooms left even thou I had booked a week earlier. I was still charged for a spa room ($159.86). I was told management would be in contact with me the next day via email. Didn't happen. Upon checking my bank statement found I had been charged another $5.81 for no reason. This is disgusting to be charged for something I did not receive. The rate for a non spa room on the night I booked was only $103. As I was having surgery the next morning I specifically wanted a spa to help calm my nerves. I was offered a free breakfast after I told them I had to fast from midnight. Very poor service. I should have at least been refunded the difference not charged more.

Absolutely loved the Adelaide inn. First the staff were so amazing and friendly and made my bad day so much better. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the beds super comfortable. The restaurant had a wonderful ambiance and the food super yummy. Overall fantastic value for money.

After staying many times over the years, last night no guest parking and this morning no hot water in room 204. Not happy. Told manager would be in touch — nothing as yet. Not a good sign for what was a great place to stay!

Great, affordable, clean place to stay. Only thing that is disappointing is parking is very limited An not being from Adelaide an not knowing about residence parking etc an not seeing the sign from arriving when it was dark. We got a fine on top of our stay. So cost more then we were hoping. I think people should be advised on arrival were the best places to park (so we don't receive a fine) if parking if full. Because I seen a fair few tickets on cars done the side street of the hotel.

Ageing hotel but clean comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Free parking and Wi-Fi.

A little aged, the rooms could do with an update but it's still quite cosy and comfortable and fairly large for the price. The spa suites feature the older style 3 person triangle spas rather than the large twin ovals. While situated in a convenient location it's free from noise and low on traffic and there's free on site parking (FREE? In Adelaide!? ) which could save you $15 a night over other hotels.

Enjoyed a delicious high tea in a fantastic setting.

Have not been to the Fox restaurant for some time. We went there for high tea the food was of a high standard and our service staff being a young girl was exceptional in everway. The only suggestion is that the restaurant lack back ground music.

This was our second stay at the hotel of several days, and my husband and I are very happy with all aspects of the hotel, except for the small car park. Rooms very clean and comfortable, great beds and air conditioning. The restaurant food and service was excellent. More important the reception staff were terrific, very friendly, experienced and helpful. Thank you for another pleasant stay snd we look forward to the next visit.

Received email confirmation. Spa suite @ $149 p/n x 2. Not told nor in email Only on checkin extra $75 p/n taken for mini-bar deposit. Paid Visa Debit — @ least 10 working days till my $150 cash is returned to savings account. 1 word, dodgy!

Stayed here twice now and had quite good experiences both times. The spa rooms are big enough to be comfortable with room to eat and work at the 2 person table, the downstairs spa rooms offer more privacy with their courtyards rather than the upstairs balconies which are too close to the next door rooms balcony and offer no privacy. We found the air conditioner in heat mode to be quite noisy and the water in the spa was discoloured "brown" but overall our stay here was pleasant. The full english breakfast is more than generous and includes the continental breakfast, loosen your belts and enjoy :) All staff have been helpful and very friendly at any time of day or night, rooms are clean, beds are comfy and food is great. Recommended.

This hotel is old but comfortable. It lacks many of the mod-cons other larger modern hotels have, but has some of the old fashioned traits the newer hotels dont. Ample off street parking right in front of the hotel — and it is FREE (try and get that in the city). The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very large. However, the mod-cons are definitely missing. The internet is expensive, the resturant is old and doesnt provide a buffet of any sort, and the decore is a little dated. There a many excellent places to eat in the immediate vicinity, all well within walking distance (with a great indian place right next door). You are a decent walk outside the CBD, but it would be less than $20 in a cab. All in all not a bad place to staff for a couple of nights.

This is a comfortable place to stay when away from home. It is a great area to find a pleasant place to eat.
