I have been to the Largs Pier hotel For Meals previously… and I have always had wonderful food and today's was no different. Wonderful Bacon. Beef Guinness pie with Peas and Mash. Our starter of pizza bread with Garlic. Cheese and Fetta on it… wow so tasty I highly recommend the Largs Pier hotel. Their Restaurants… Food & Service. Top notch.

Good food selection, friendly staff, great scenery outside. A cold day outside but a nice warming fire place (gas) inside. Will definitely go back again.

The food and atmosphere at the Largs Pier Hotel is always brilliant. The bar is certainly the place to eat, I find the bistro/restaurant not as inviting as the other areas. Certainly something to check out if you're in the area.

Fantastic location opposite the jetty, friendly atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink while watching the sunset. Usual pub menu, with easy parking.

I recently had dinner at the Largs Pier Hotel and it was beautiful! The view just as the sun went down over the ocean was stunning. I had the fish which was delicious. I didn't taste or smell fishy, it actually tasted fresh and moist. The side salad was nice, as were the chips. I think it was around $19.50, and it was well worth it for the size of the meal! I tried some of my partner's salt & pepper squid. It was to die for! Staff were friendly and service was prompt. We will definitely be back soon.

It's a great hotel, with an amazing view. Bed was comfy and all was clean. Lot's of stairs and no lifts… also, guests can walk around all balconies so privacy in your room can be an issue if you like to keep your windows open. The food downstairs was reasonably priced and it was quite tasty!

It was pleasant sitting on the decking on the Esplanade. A good in-expensive Seniors menu ($12.90) or the Lunch Deal which includes a pint of beer, cider, soft drink or a glass of wine ($12.90). With four of us we we all had different meals… Fish and Chips, Caesar Salad, Curry of the Day and Chicken and Quiche. All of us spoke favourably of the choices. Service was quick and friendly.

Absolutely love this historic hotel. We stayed on the first floor in a deluxe heritage room, with double doors that opened to a huge balcony with breath taking views. All the staff are super friendly and the facilities are top grade. The food/room service is fabulous, all in all there is no doubt that I will be recommending this accommodation to everyone, and will definitely be returning. Thanks guys, you are awesome.!

I love this building it is an icon it feels like I have gone back in time everytime I walk through the doors! The location is fantastic the food is BRILLIANT and the staff are very hospitable. A very important piece of history to South Australia.

Great place to stay and eat. Accommodation was superb, we had the executive heritage spa room, clean and huge. The meal was great, plenty on the plate and was cooked just right. Would recommend this place, we will definitely go back.

I loved this Hotel… We stayed in the Motel which was clean and the bed was great. Straight across from the Largs Pier where you can walk and see the dolphines at play or walk along the beach… There area is full of heritage architecture and history. Loved the area and the food.

Staff are fantastic service is the best. The food well leads a lot to be desired. Had a chicken snits it was very stringy staff took it back so thought I would try a beef one. Wish I had not had trouble getting my knife through it. Very disappointed.

Checking in service was excellent, greeted with a handshake, welcoming smiles and chat. The room was ready well ahead of time which was a blessing with an early flight. Clean, freshly presented comfortable room, not bothered by the back carpark, very quiet. Upon checking out the service was excellent again, with booking the taxi and extending our room until the taxi arrived. Great restaurant and pub on premises, sunsets, pier and kid friendly beach. Great choice.

Fabulous place to stay, lovely historic building with modern amenities, wonderful food, generous serves in restaurant! Friendly staff, clean venue. Safe Beach & playground right across the roadI'd love to stay again!

My favourite place to be beautifully renovated best food great atmosphere open fires in Winter relaxed surroundings beautiful beach across the road. Lovely memories of her x miss you. Interesting facts this pub was the first pub to have a drive through Bottleship in AUSTRALIA also the launch of Jimmy Barnes and Cold Chisel amazing career.

Classic outside pub look modern interior. Drinks and meal reasonably priced and staff were more than helpful and prompt with service.

Great old Victoria hotel/pub on the beach. Beautiful interior (why don't they make buildings like this any more? ) and outdoor areas to have a cold beer. Lovely Victorian fireplace room too, which would be lovely in the winter nonths. Often popped in for drinks and food — the food is delicious and really generously sized. There are $5 happy hour beers on Friday and Saturday night. Staff were super friendly too. Lovely barman called Mac who made you feel very welcomed. If you come from Sydney or Melbourne, your money here will go a very long way, especially during happy hour. When. Can I move in?

Flew over from Perth for a cousins wedding at the Hotel. Booked the Heritage room and was not disappointed. The room is by far the best room we've stayed in. The bed was so comfortable and the views amazing. We had a great night at the wedding reception. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly.

Food ok, not worth the price. Service ok.

Great food, prices are higher than expected but quality of service more than makes up for it.

It was Okay, wasn't the best experience. The staff wasn't very friendly only 2 staff were good. There is more cons then pros with this hotel I am not sure why they're highly recommended I did not enjoy my stay. The $5 surcharge for the room service was a joke.

Went to the Largs Pier for Lucy for a work function. I was very impressed with how quickly the food came out and how pleasant the staff were. Highly recommended.

While we waited the 45mins to an hour for our food, we we're admiring everyone else's meals being delivered. They had clearly forgotten our order because when we asked, they came out within 5 mins (we had ordered salt n pepper calamari and a salad — quick meals). We were so far beyond hungry, we barely ate. The chips and calamari were cooked in 5 day old oil and the chicken salad consisted of cheap nasty lettuce, a few olives and sundries toms with burnt chicken. Lucky we ordered feta with the salad or it would have been inedible.

The Largs Pier makes me very happy. Food, accomodation, beatiful view, good service. Everything perfect. Especially, on sitting at the table look at the seaside with fresh air. I'm looking forward to return to here!

Awesome place for a beer!

The restaurant has great food (king George whiting!, sliders! ). A little pricey, but great views. A great place to relax in summer.

EXCELLENT! The one place in Adelaide where there are great staff, and great food. Only once had to send some chips back because they were sponges. Good music there on the weekend! Meals well priced, as with the drinks. By the way this place has some serious history, opened in 1882. Jimmy Barnes use to play here and wrote a song about it. Also Bon Scott (AC-DC) used to hang there. Other bands that jammed here, Split Enz, The Angels, Cold Chisel and Billy Thorpe, Skyhooks, Little River Band and Rose Tattoo.

Great service, really nice atmosphere sitting outside looking out to the water. Food is well priced and good selection. Will be going back.

Always good apart from one breakfast turned up 30min after I orderd and the sausage was raw.
