Family got a room at an $85 discount rate. Great for that money. For full price it's not that special, but you're paying for a great location.

Clean and tidy, bed wasn't super comfortable and one down pillow per person isn't enough. Irregular cleaning items like vents could do with a more regular clean. Traffic & aeroplane noise want too bad from the ground floor out back, but I suspect others at the front and top wouldn't agree.

Busy this weekend but service was great. Fairly ord room but motel convenient for our plans.

My stay in Adelaide was extra special when I booked this near the beach side, absolutely amazing. Good value for money, breakfast was wonderful. Staff are friendly and even the house keepers are smiling and nice to talk with. Better than the value for money. Highly recommend to book if you like beach and quietness.

Feel a bit duped with this place. Fridge isn't even bar size amd doesn't cool efficiently. Bathroom is fairly clean. A lack in basics e. G. Teaspoon, bowls or plates. No hand towel. Not the place to stay for any more than one night.

Nice location but lacking in the " comfort". The downstairs Cafe/ Restaurant is very nice but we had minor issues with our breakfast order. Rooms need upgrading, it did not feel clean due to this. On the plus side, free parking on site, lovely views and again location. About a ten min walk to Glenelg beach and Jetty road.

Very disappointing service from management. After an honest mistake was made, management were very unaccommodating and rude in there response. This is the first bad review I've ever left and feel very disappointed in the lack of compassion and customer service — would recommend avoiding.

Nice place very friendly staff " comfortable beds nice view of the marina and close to Glenelg and the beach. And the breakfast was superb.

Had issues with the room we booked. Told us they would give us a call when it was fixed… Failed to do so. Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, tried calling them 3 times to get it fixed from our room to eventually be told maybe it was our phones… (both our phones? I don't think so). Told them we could check in at 2 or 4 and they said the later the better. We checked in at 4 and thats when they mentioned it was "first in best dressed for parking"… Meaning we had to park on the street. Room smelt like smoke fridge smelt like off milk. Only positives are location and comfy bed.

It's a really nice place, we spent there 2 weeks and everything was good, the staff there and reception are very kind. The Plank restaurant is also sooooo good. Just don't forget to try their food.

Says it has foxtel but it does not, the room I stayed in had no fridge or microwave, the pool was dirty. But the staff were friendly the beds were very clean and comfortable. Over all the price was ok.

Hotel is situated in close walking distance to the pier and local eateries. Rooms were well looked after which made it easy to ignore they were a little bit dated. Service was excellent, staff were friendly.

For the amount we were charged for a double room just because the summer salt festival was on was outrageous. The room certainly needs an up grade from top to bottom. The only good thing was the linen was clean. I would not recommend it to anyone. Especially not at the price we were charged.

Visited this place when my brother came down from Mt. Gambier. The upstsirs rooms (with the balcony) should have large parasols in the Summertime. My mother & I had metal seating & it got too warm. Next time I would provide the lg parasols myself. The company can pay me for these items. What do you think? They also should have a lift for people who are wheelchair bound.

Beautiful view of the arena. Very clean rooms and staff are very friendly. Oh and the prices are affordable. Only couple minor bad things. No toilet brush and Wi-Fi isn't free past 200 megs. Will come back though.

The room was very nice and the location was very good. I would have put 4 stars but the Wi-Fi works poorly and also if you consume more than 200 MB, is charged 10c to MB.

Fairly simple accomodation, clean but dated. Great for our large group trip but probably not somewhere I'd go for a romantic trip away. Staff really helpful and friendly.

Cracks in the walls. Chipped paint. Damaged taps that took a few minutes to clear out the cold water. Great view… of the tree blocking the window. Where's the supposed free Foxtel and Wi-Fi? On the good side the beds are very comfortable.

Ok for a nights stay. Wifi wasn't the most efficient but it did work most of the time. Marina few was lovely. Brekky was good. Overall a nice place but would be even better with a little reno and more car park spaces.

Recently stayed at the comfort inn haven marina and had a disappointing experience. I have stayed frequently but will no longer choose this as my preferred accommodation. I was waiting surgery for a ruptured Achilles and was not given a room downstairs despite there being multiple rooms available. There is no elevator to the second floor. The accomodation advertises Foxtel but Foxtel is not available. When questioned I was told that they had not renewed their contract and could not remove the sign. When checking in I asked if the restaurant would be available — I was told it would be open until 8pm. I was unable to walk or drive so this was pivotal. At 4pm when I went to ask for ice for my ankle the restaurant was closed and I was told I had to walk to the supermarket. It did not open for tea either. When I went to get into bed there was a dirty/used tissue in the sheets. It took over 5 minutes for any hot water to come in the shower. When checking out I asked for an official feedback form/link and was told they didn't have one but would speak with the manager — there is customer feedback on their website, but I was not offered this. My partner and I will not return again and will look elsewhere in the future.

Great food at "The Plank", everything was clean and a TV, kettle, fridge, alarm clock and tea & coffee were provided. Bathroom was clean, and shampoo and soap also provided. My only complaints would be that there were no hand towels in the bathroom, and that even though it was a 3 person room, only 1 soap and 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner were provided. Great service at the front desk, would definitely stay again.

Tasty food, big serves and a lovely wine selection. Friendly service and a comfortable setting. A decent feed, but nothing overly splashy.

Perfectly acceptable to bunk down for a night or three. Clean neat and off street parking. Area is quite noisy so bring ear plugs or run the fan for white noise. accommodating staff and good onsite restaurant and cafe. Brilliant location.

When first arriving to this hotel I was expecting big things as the photos promised nice clean rooms with good views. But unfortunately I was greeted with the exact opposite — A room which smelt mouldy, had cobwebs and spiders on the windows, ants crawling on the desk and a bathroom that was in need of a complete face-lift. Very disappointed as it appears that this hotel has been left to deteriorate in light of future developments. The only positive of this hotel is the helpful and efficient room service staff. It could be that the reception staff could learn something from them. Would not be staying here again and would not recommend to other people.

Standard room not worth 179.00, unfortunately had ants in the room and bed sheets that didn't fit the bed properly. Pre paid for breakfast the night before to find out that drinks (coffee) hadnt been included… Need to step up the game if you want to charge these premium prices.

Dated building but clean and great food, plus with the new updated building plans for all to see this is going to be an amazing place to stay. VERY nice friendly staff.

Good location, but the rooms are a little dated. Stayed here for 2 nights, nice walk over to Holdfast bay about 10 minutes. Quite a bit of traffic noise, but not too bad.

I have been to Adelaide twice and both times I have stayed here. Very close to the beach and a tram ride from the city centre. Conveniently located for road trippers and not too far from the airport. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Ask to stay in room 101.

Really great room and price combo considering where it's at. I was lucky enough to stumble across this place while road tripping across Australia. I would recommend and rebook this place if I were traveling through Adelaide again.
