An absolutely great location. Friendly staff willing to assist — Alison & Nicole were great during our stay on 11th floor this month — great views! Been to Adelaide thrice — stayed at this one all three times.

Just don't do it. Booked this room for my fiancee's birthday. Firstly I wasn't impressed that I was informed by email after I had already paid for the room that a further $100 security deposit was required, especially as I spoke to the receptionist in the phone to book the room. Then we arrived for a late check-in at 10:30pm to find a pay and display In the parking lot. "Who charges for parking at a hotel?! " I yelled as I walked past it refusing to pay, I then seen the free parking sign out the front, so I spent the night wondering if I get a ticket. It wasn't until the alarm clock that was stupidly left plugged in woke me up at 5am, that I found the parking permit on the key tag. Then there's the room, I have stayed in pubs on the Yorke peninsula with nicer rooms. It looks like they've been renovated on the cheap. The bathroom was the only "nice" part of the room, but even in there we found the shower turns the entire room into a water park due to the lack of shower screen and a previous guest had left us a present sticking out of a hole in the roof. The balcony was the main reason for booking the hotel, and it's just not safe, the railing is rickety and the whole thing is crumbling to peices literally. I've gone through and read similar reviews from a year ago, so management are obviously very neglectful. I want my money back, definitely don't do it.

The location and view from the balcony makes this hotel fantastic.

We recently stayed at the Atlantic Tower motor Inn for our first wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Room was nice and clean. We stayed in one of the spa suites and it was just incredible. Couldn't recommend enough. Will be returning!

Staying here over Christmas. Good sized rooms with the most comfortable beds. Our room on the 11th floor has a fantastic marina view. From the outside the hotel looks very dated and reception could do with a spruce up but it all cosmetic. Breakfast are good and reasonably priced and the hotel is close to airport and all other amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful. If we ever return to this area we would stay again. Free Wi-Fi and parking which cannot be said for most of the hotels in the area and room kept spotless by the amazing staff xxx.

We have just stayed at Atlantic Tower Inn for 2 nights Friday and Saturday in a Spa Room. WOW what a wonderful view from the Balcony is was great day and night time. Staff we met where helpful and friendly. The only downside is they don't have the Breakfast Room or the Revolving Restaurant any more? What a waste of that space it was truly spectacular in it's day. The powers that be please bring it back or something similar it would be a top asset for the Atlantic it would bring us back more often as many others as well. Its a landmark use it please?

Was central and very quiet. A little old. But beds were comfy & room clean. Had a nice view from our little balcony.

Microwave in room but no bowls? Asked at reception and got bowls and spoons but then housekeeping took spoons next day. Got up to make breakfast and no spoons. Very frustrating. Place was clean and staff friendly. Ok for budget accommodation.

Great views which ever room you're allocated. Friendly staff. Close to the beach and Jetty Road.

Nice place to relax, short walk to the ocean with plenty of cafe's &shops, yes also there is a free transport service to the city. Nice place to stay during the warmest months, this is a place that we would like to stay at again in the near future.

We only had the one night stay. We were greeted at reception by a very friendly and helpful staff member. Our room and ensuite was very clean the bed was comfortable. Tea, coffee etc and bar fridge was well stocked. They provided free Wifi, Foxtel and the free off street car parking was a bonus. The view was spectacular from our room on the 11th floor, both night and day, we could see the ocean the airport the city and the Rangers coming in to Adelaide from Murray Bridge. Next time we are in Adelaide and looking for a place to stay it will be definitely here.

We have stayed here numerous times over the last 2 years. In fact, it's the only place we stay at when we're in Adelaide. Gorgeous views and a very relaxing place to holiday. Close to Jetty Road, only 20 minutes to drive into the city. Everything is accessible. We have now moved to Adelaide and will still stay here to treat ourselves to a night out.

Lovly people and the newly renovated rooms were a delight to stay in. I'm dissapointed that they dropped the breakfast room but the beds were super comfy for a great night's sleep.

Three stars… one for location, one for being inexpensive & one for being quite clean but two lost for the 'security'. Doors are locked & only those staying here with a key are supposed to be able to gain access after 10pm. We were staying on the 10th floor so imagine my surprise when a intoxicated & obnoxious woman, not even staying in the motel, came bashing on our door in the early hours of the morning, carrying on like an idiot & disturbing the peace. Not a pleasant experience.

Great place the view is the best in Glenelg, the restaurant on the top floor was closed at the time we stayed, great position in the heart of all the restaurants and shopping and beach, not 5 star but view and position the best!

Great lower cost alternative to other options around Glenelg. The building is getting on a bit but the room we stayed in had had a facelift and was nice (spa room). Great views and overall good value.

Beautiful hotel had everything you need staff were lovely, gorgeous views and great location. Every thing you need was only a short walk away. Looks a little deceiving from the out side but inside the rooms were very nice. The foyer could probaly do with an upgrade but would defiantly stay there again and also would highly recommend to friends and family.

Cool building to stay in. Great views of Glenelg. Non smoking room option which is a good feature. Good prices and we also had a permit to park out car which was very convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good. Just wish they would reopen the revolving restaurant under new management or use that space for more features.

Very accessible location, super close to marina and jetty road. Clean rooms, dated building but overall comfortable to stay in. Restaurant had been closed for two years when we got here.

Saw this place online and booked a quiet weekend away with the mrs. Arrived to find an extremely old, outdated and worn room. More like a backpackers place than an actual hotel. We made the best of it. We were told breakfast was included, only to arrive at the top floor to find some tupperware with breakfast cereals in them on a small table. A few slices of bread. Truly a dissapopinting place, don't let the name fool you "Atlantic Tower" — the place is old, run down, a bargain basement posing as a department store — STAY AWAY>.

Love the Atlantic Tower Motor Inn — the service, the rooms, the location, everything about this place. You must spend a little extra $$$ and get one of the high floor (10 or 11) rooms — they're well worth it. This was my second visit and I cannot wait to go back. Thank you.

We have been coming back to the Atlantic for the past 8 years and always enjoy it. A room on the 11th floor overlooking the Adelaide Hills and the Adelaide Airport is a must. Watch the sun rise in the morning, and the planes taking off and landing at nigt. A great included breakfast in the morning on the 9th floor breakfast overlooking the Marina and the sea, run by the same lady who has been there for the past 8 years. Always well run and a great way to start the day. Will be back again next year for another few magical nights looking out over the lights of Adelaide.

Man what can I say. Worst room ever. Me and the misses just got married and were looking for a medium priced room to save cash for a better room on our honey moon. This was the crapest room ever should have sleept in my swag. Two thumbs down. Foot steps all night, stone hard bed with cardboard sheets. And for $180 my olds stayed on anzack hwy for $90 and there room craped all over ours. 0.5 out of 10. They only got the. 5 cause it had a vb in the fridge.

Immediately dissapointed with this Hotel. I booked a room (mind you, rather overpriced when I look back now) and arrived to find a small, dirty, dingy and outdated room closer to a backpacker's then a hotel. I was alarmed to find a huge cockroach on my bedside counter and the 70s style bathroom showed signs of dirt and wear and tear. The room was advertised to have 40 free foxtel channels, yet only about 5 normal channels worked, which was a bit irritating seems as though the room wasn't exactly cheap. If the room wasn't bad enough, then the service definately was. Upon checking out, the older receptionist was extreamly rude and insulting. We stood at the counter for nearly 10 minutes before she even acknowledged us, whilst she continued to gossip with another member of staff right in front of us, not even a hello can I help? or anything, so I said I wished to check out and she immediately started becoming animated accusing us of bein too loud. This was nonsence as we were not overly loud and certainly didn't deserve to be abused. She then accused us of smoking in the room and the hallway, even though we requested a non smoking room as neither of us smoke, and she made a member of staff go check for smoke smells in our room, and obviously there was none. After her unprofessional attitude she didn't even inform me that she was going to take out a $150 bond from my account (after I'd already paid for the room and stayed the night, I found this a little odd.

I booked a dinner/bed/breakfast package to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We had previously dined at the Top of the World restaurant and found the food and service excellent, so we were really looking forward to a nice meal and comfortable accommodation having booked a 10th floor spa suite. Our dinner consisted of two courses, main and dessert, with only four choices for main course and two choices of dessert. This was a little disappointing as this is such a limited choice from the normally extensive a la carte menu. We also had to pay extra for drinks (not unexpected) and coffee (which I thought could have been included). On returning to our room we were surprised to hear the continual noise of footsteps above us and the flushing of toilets. We then realised that directly above us were the toilets for the restaurant guests. The noise continued until almost 11.00pm. Potential guests, BEWARE of rooms on the 10th floor and their vicinity to the restaurant toilets! Perhaps the refurbishment of the building should take into consideration the paper thin walls and ceilings. We asked to be relocated, but no other rooms were available. The bottle of complementary champagne we were given as compensation certainly helped to make the whole situation more amusing as we attempted to guess if it was a half flush or full flush we were listening to. We have no complaint about the quality of the rooms or cleanliness.
