Absolutely terrible and wouldn’t recommend even as a ‘budget’ option. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom is directly next to the bed. My partner and I had to keep switching between who could go to the toilet or brush our teeth. There is absolutely no heating and we were freezing in the winter. There is an open window in the bathroom that is unreachable and permanently lets cold air in. When we complain the management their solution was a small heater we were given. The ‘free’ Wi-Fi is free for a reason. It doesn’twork and you can’t load a single thing. Not to mention, our purpose for this trip was to attend a concert. We permanently left a DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door to protect our belongings and the day of the concert our room underwent maintenance anyway and the cleaning staff THREW OUT OUR TICKETS. Which then lead to a frantic stressful search just hours before we had to go and they were found amongst our rooms rubbish.

Friendly staff, centrally located in Adelaide, good food and comfy beds. Only downside is the rooms are very small with little room to move.

Good location. Rooms are extremely basic and very small. Hotel needs to be renovated and is looking very tired. No heating in the rooms, so very cold in winter. Only stay if you're looking for somewhere cheap to stay in the city and don't have high expectations.

Not worth 1 star. Booked online with confirmation. When arrived they had no booking for us. Gave us a room after about 15/20 minutes told us they had rooms anyway. The room was like a shoe box hardly no room to move and extremely cold with no heating. The worst place I have stayed.

Position of this hotel is right in the action but being a budget hotel room sizes are small. No balcony or window that opens for fresh air. Suitable for a couple of nights. Staff were very helpful.

Very basic room, but very comfortable. Only complaint is that it's a very long walk from lift to room, including a small staircase. Not unreasonable, especially given that the listing for the room mentions stairs, but just a strange layout. Would definitely recommend this hotel as budget accommodation though!

Well situated in the city stayed on the 5th floor and the room was comfortable and spacious buffet breakfast was average and quite expensive but room service meal was very good as was the restaurant meal.

Would happily give this 0 stars. The hotel is in disrepair. Carpet fixed down with tape, dirt on the walls, key card not working for the room several times, lift not working, the "fitness room" is a joke. Added to that the room is tiny, my TV was broke and the bed was uncomfortable. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Very basic. For what you pay to stay. Very small room with a box toilet and shower. Only 1 foxtel channel the rest are sports. Must pay for Wi-Fi when adeliade has free Wi-Fi. And pay to watch and movies. Very out dated feel.

Fire alam went off 4am then 130 pm run for life not bad like stay here if l was homeless.

If you like sleeping in an idiling truck, engine room or Harley Davidson dealership; you found the right place. Just make sure to set the fan to 3. Comes with an assortment of rattling boards and vents.

Pretty average experience overall. The room I was in was tiny and stinky. Smelled like someone had been smoking in it. I was quickly given another room when I called reception and called and the seperate room was much better. Other complaint was breakfast. It was horrible. Everything was average — watery eggs, old bread, flavorless food. Won't be back.

The shower wasn't cleaned, the room was stuffy with no ability to air it and the air-conditioning barely worked. Not great for a string of 3 nearly 40C days in Adelaide.

For $125/night, you pay extra for breakfast and internet, no sandals, tooth brush and paste, bring your own.

Location of the hotel is quite good. The hotel is on North Terrace and opposite to the Adelaide Railway Station/Casino and Convention Center. Through the lane ways on both side of the hotel entrance, it’s just a short walk to the famous Hindley street, where bars, restaurants and night clubs located. Apart from the location, the hotel is sharing facilities with Mercure and is on the next building to where Mercure is in, and access through a long walk and a stairway. Room is tiny, provided Wi-Fi isn’t of a good speed of Internet and there’s dust some places in the room since it’s a budget hotel, but the staffs are nice and friendly.

Worst stay. Rooms could have been better. It was a pathetic room.

I’d give Zero stars if I could! DON’T STAY HERE! Small, stuffy rooms with no space to move and terrible value for money. Wireless was included in my booking but was shockingly bad. I had to spend 30 mins on the phone to the internet provider. As a guest who had paid for Wi-Fi I found that ridiculous. I then was moved to 3 different rooms to try to get Wi-Fi access but nothing worked so I was left in the same situation as I started! No compensation for my time and effort. Breakfast was overpriced and average.

Very small room but clean.

Nice place to stay, very close to the Royal Adelaide hospital and close to the mall. Only had to stay for the one night but was enjoyable.

Hotel Well located. Clean but small rooms, reasonably priced. My room unfortunately was located at the very end of the complex and required you to walk down several long corridors. It seems like the ibis Styles rooms are all located in an adjacent building via a staircase. However access is only available through the one elevator entry so you have no choice but to make the trek every time.

Rooms were clean, happy with stay. Room small but lived up to expectation from website.

… so the ensuite door is glass so you can be seen on the toilet from the bed… the room is smaller than a caravan and the fridge barely holds a 6 pack… you can hear people leaving local venues at 2am and your neighbours talking in the next room… We were woken up again to the hallways being vacuumed at 5:20am… the best thing? … we didn't pay full price…

Tiny rooms with no working aircon and terrible access to the lobby having to change lifts everytime you want to go to the car park Dont waste your money.

I would drop that to a 1/4 star if I could, never stayed anywhere like it before the worst room by FAR, I have stayed in roach motels in America and every one of them was better than this, staying on floor 4 but its half way between 3 and 4th floors work that out, do your self a favour STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE…

The room was at the very back of the hotel and was absolutely tiny! Horrible. Felt claustrophobic in there.

Pretty small rooms! To small… Not very soundproof. But really friendly staff and located close to the conference center.

The hotel was quite cheap so I wasn't expecting large room. But what we got bearly fit a bed in. Also the toilet door was kinda see-through. Lucky I was there with my wife only and not with kids. Also there was quite a weird smell in the room and I wasn't game enough to drink out of the glasses provided. The building at the back of the hotel where our room was it was getting renovated and since 6am there was unbelievable amount of noise. Didn't get much sleep. There was no AC either. Only big box with a fan in it. I have to admit though the staff were very nice and provided us with underground parking.

A rather smaller room than expected. The bathroom area don't have much room to move around. TV volume not changeable. On the plus side, the service manager is courteous and helpful. Overall you get what you paid for so if you keep your expectations grounded, you should be alright.

Ibis Styles is attached to the Mercure Hotel. The room is tidy, but quite small. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Good central location. One annoyance was not being able to access the room directly from the lift. There are additional stairs in the back part of the hotel where the Ibis starts, so you have to drag your luggage up a number of stairs, regardless of what floor you are on. Internet costs an additional $9.95 and parking is an additional $20 per day.

We recently stayed here and if they try to put you in rooms at the back you will be sorry. Friday night the nightclub next door finished at 3.30am and Saturday night it finished at 6am on Sunday. The room was very very cramped — we had to climb over each other to get into bed and not enough room in the bathroom to dry yourself. And the bathroom door was so badly fitted it wouldn't close completely and opened itself once you were in there. The carpet in the hallways needed a good clean. The one good thing was breakfast — food was good. Wouldn't want to stay here again.

Reasonable location. Shame about the construction works taking place in an adjacent lot at an ungodly hour. Very noisy third floor room.

The room was very noisy. A motor or something was working the whole night. Not very accesible, I had to climb some stairs with my luggage.

Cheap but good location for conference attendance.

We stayed in a Queen bed room. We were advised the room was small but we were pleasantly surprised. It is compact but really well set out. The bed is comfy, the staff friendly and the location is awesome.

Tiny rooms, thin walls, practically no bathroom door. On the plus side: It's very close to the railway station.
