Loved our stay here — friendly staff and amazing views even from our "garden view" unit! The rooms are really spacious and we loved the pool and being so close to the cafes down the road. We will be back!

Excellent value and amazing property. We traveled from North Carolina to vacation a few days, wish we could have spent a month!

We stayed 8 nights in the NSW school holidays. What a pleasant surprise our apartment was in the North tower, there was nothing we could of asked for to improve our stay. The view was spectacular, shops and dining options within walking distance, secure parking and friendly helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate recommending Xanadu to family and friends.

We loved the location, views were amazing. Units and complex was clean and well maintained. Loved the local coffee shops (Beaches off Tedder), and restaurants.
We would definitely return again. Only bad thing was having to leave.

Food was great. Bit noisy being a members night. Go back again. Visiting for The World Triathlon Finals.

Great place to stay. Big apartments, great location with amenities. The gym needs a bit of an update but the rest of fantastic.

Location is great across a quiet beach. Our apartment had excellent views of the sea. Parking is allocated in an underground car park. Reception was helpful in dealing with our queries.

Ok place to stay as most attractions are close by. Room did not match photos on website which was disappointing. Was rated as 4 star but not worth more than 2.5 stars. Everything was outdated and we could also hear a creature crawling in the ducting some where. The view from the room was the only plus.

Excellent property. Fantastic room, even got complementary upgrade for the week. Amazing views. Service was prompt and professional, very informative. Location is great, walking distance to beach, small supermarket and several restaurants. Couple of minutes drive to larger venues. Very happy, would definitely return.

Very nice and reasonably priced resort (at least the apartment we stayed at in winter). While the apartment is a bit outdated, it is spacious and with an amazing view. Kitchen is well equipped and the resort has nice facilities, such as indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, tennis courts and small gym. Reception staff were friendly and the beach is literally across the road. I would definitely stay in this part of the Gold Coast again and recommend this resort for families.

Very nice accommodation near the ocean with the sunrising when wake up. Very comfortable facilities: indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, tennis courts and meeting room. Very convenient location to go everywhere. Close to public transport: bus and tram. Communication club, restaurants and beach by walking…

Spent a week here with 2x apartment rooms booked. Rooms were both very different standards. Luckily ours was great but the second was very standard for the same price. All due to separate owners. We paid extra for service which I wouldnt reccomend as all it was was clean towels and bed made. We had to top up toiletries, w. Powder, wipe downs etc ourselves. Also take rubbish town 16 levels to rubbish and recycling daily. … Location is great. Cafe close with great espresso and breaky.

We had unit 66 in East tower. It was excellent. I would give 4.5 stars. Point deducted as the master bed was very soft (some people might like that) and no exhaust fans in bathrooms. Modern and clean and really centrally located. Will be back!

Second stay better than the first and the first was fantastic. The location is perfect for relaxation or those early morning walks along the spit. Close enough to access everything but far enough away from the craziness. The facilities are great and the view is just ridiculous. Tears all round when we left. Can’t wait to come back. It’s like coming home.

Love this place great place to stay close to beach n restaurant great for family with kids n Teenage's 5 mins to surfers Paradise hop up every morning sit on balcony n watch the ocean 10/10. Love it back next year again. Very clean great pools very quite everything you want for a hoildays. We love it.

Lovely views, great location away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers. We were here during 'Schoolies' and you would not of known. Apartments with the 'B' configuration are in the centre of each tower, are the largest and have the biggest balconies. Normally two bedroom/bathroom, one bedroom and bathroom can be locked-off to make these available as one bedroom. You can request a particular configuration for $5 extra/night. The ocean view we had on level 11 was fantastic, would be difficult to justify paying any extra for a 'superior' ocean view on higher levels. Keep in mind that the nearest supermarket is a small, pricey IGA on Tedder Avenue. You're best off doing an online delivery from Coles or Woolies. There is also a bottle-O (BWS) next door to the IGA. The apartments provide cooking utensils but you'll need to purchase everything else for cooking including oil/butter, condiments, sauces etc. You may also need to bring/purchase enough loo paper/washing detergent/dishwasher tabs to get you through as only a 'starter pack' is provided. Pool/beach towels can be hired, but suggest bringing your own. The outdoor pool and spa is not heated and is generally quite cool. I did not see one person swim in it whilst we were there. However, the indoor pool and spa is quite comfortable. The wonderful warm beach is right across the road! Each unit has a secure, underground carpark allocated to it. Convenient if you're hiring a car or bicycles/scooters.

I really enjoyed staying here. A lovely location right near the beach and caraven park, but quiet enough to relax. Kids enjoyed a swim in the pool. Apartment itself was very spacious, and equipped quite reasonably. Some fittings were showing their best was behind them, but nothing you couldn't live with. Easy to find, and close enough to shopping centre and local attractions.

Really enjoying our stay here. It's very comfortable, spacious, and has everything we need (a/c, comfortable beds, kitchen). Plus it has some nice extras like a TV in the main bedroom, walk in robe, safe and 2 balconies. Love the location, close to the beach and restaurants. My only complaints are the fluoro lighting throughout (yes, picky I know) and the horrible hairdryer — again, a just little thing. Overall we are really happy and would stay again.

Perfect location for viewing the boat racing as well as the V8's clean spacious rooms only thing I would recommend is to bring your own towels and/wash powder as they do not change very often nor provide more than 2 washing packets for a 10 day visit making you choose between washing clothes or freshing the towels would highly recommend.

We are staying here at the moment and highly recommended to anyone. We are staying at 2 bedroom apartment. There is big lounge, big kitchen, 2 bedroom in reasonable size. 2 showers room and toilets and 1 little small laundry room (There are dryer and washing machine). Also there are lots of places to store the clothes, big mirror for dress up, few drawers. Modern Kitchen is big with oven, microwave, cooking stoves, dish washing machine and lots of kitchen equipment. Balcony is huge with long table and chairs for morning breakfast and you could enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze in the morning. The apartment is so spacious. Swimming pool Area is great and also have BBQ stoves to cook right next to the swimming pool. Hot pool is good and sauna room too. Tennis court is great. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. They are 4 and 5 years old. This place is so perfect for us. It is nice and calm street to compare around surfers area. Definitely highly recommended! 5 stars apartment for us:)

Perfect rooms, flawless ocean views, perfect weather, great friendly staff. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay on the gold coast this place is the place to stay, it's quiet, away from the hustle and bussell of surfers paradise this is minutes to the beach, great local restaurants, close to sea world and 20min away from wet n wild and Warner bros. I found it the area more of family orientated which was perfect for my familia. Will be back. From Sydney, NSW.

We stayed in a lovely spacious apartment with amazing views, the girls in Reception were lovely and they made us feel so welcome. The kitchen is a delight with modern appliances it seemed a shame to use them as they were so clean and sparkly. The nicest thing I found was the sampler Tea Box with all the different sachets in it. The apartment had the most comfortable king size bed and we could see and hear the sea from our apartment. But the best thing were the sun loungers in the sun so nice just to sit and read and dream. Our entire stay was so delightful and the hardest thing was — to hand the key back, but we'll return sooner than later. Just loved it.

What an amazing location, great people, great service, great apartments and in the heart of Main Beach. For anybody who wants to have a great location with all the services and facilities on the Gold Coast, this is the only place to consider. We are already looking forward to our next trip back.

This business has the most rude receptionist ever.

It's not a 5 star resort by any means. It has a worn, faded glory which they are only just starting to correct 20 years later (Oct 2011) by renovations. When we visited they were working on corridor and foyers and the indoor pool. Unfortunately the serviced apartments are privately owned so it's a roulette deal as to whether the owner of the apartment you are allocated has dumped all their own crap furniture into the apartment, taken all the new tvs and appliances — or not. Luckily in this case the owner (of North Xanadu tower apartment 105) had recently purchased a new furniture package (sofa, beds, dining setting, 47" LCD TV etc) so we did fine. The apartment itself is big compared to most Gold Coast apartments. Previous reviews had mentioned poor reception service — I tested them out on some slightly 'annoying' requests but they dealt with them fine.
