Booked a trip this coming week but can’t go because of covid (regional victorians) messaged resort as soon as possible when we found out restrictions wouldn’t be lifted. The resort said that it was too close to the date so we would loose our entire booking,
I asked if there was any way we could get a refund/ partial refund or maybe even credit. We were told multiple times no. They couldn’t because we had booked through a third party (bookings. Com) I contacted bookings. Com and they offered to approach the resort to ask if we could have a refund. They did say that there could be a cancellation fee but they would try to get that waved too because of the circumstances. The resort rejected the offer with no explanation, when I asked again the person I was messaging Terry just kept saying in their generic message there was nothing they could do because they weren’t the owner. Two days later they are yet to reply to my message asking for further help.
So Save your money. Do not book here in these crazy times when we have no control over if and when we can go on holidays. This company will gladly take your money and offer you a small discount if we wish to rebook at another stage.
No thanks. We won’t be staying here again and will be sure to let everyone know how poorly we have been treated.

Lovely clean apartments. And very luxurious. Terry is friendly too. Would definitely recommend.

We had an awesome stay leading up to the Commonwealth Games. Our unit was immaculate and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be staying there again.

Great place. Everything you need. Close to everything… Awesome host Terry, very hospitable and friendly. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the Gold Coast.

Great place to stay. Walking 5min to the beach, 10 mins to a mega huge shopping center. The apartments are fully equipped, air conditioning, kitchen including washing machine etc. Really good value for the price and everything was clean.

Nice resort to stay. Contain private parking garage. Inside the hotel basically have all the things u need in daily life. But the working hour of reception kinda short so do reach earlier to check in especially weekend.

Stayed at unit 19 for two nights. It is a one bedroom unit that has been renovated, and it is very spacious. Close to the beach. Place has a policy of keeping it always quiet in respect to other guest, so it is great if you want a relaxing weekend.

We loved our stay at Montego Sands. The apartment was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. It had a lot of conveniences and Terry, the manager, was also very helpful, assisting with anything we needed. The pool and spa area is another great feature. Can't wait to go back!

Great location. Beach at one end of the street & Pacific Fair Shopping Centre at the other end. Undercover car parking. Staff is friendly & helpful. Great value for money.

Loved my time at Montego Sands. Nice quiet street, 2 minutes walk to beach. 7 minute walk to huge shopping mall, Pacific Fair. Lots restaurants nearby. Two big Surf Clubs within walking distance — one just opened. Both serving great food. Units spotless, great Management. Love the swimming pool and spa pool area. Very private. Very pleasant stay.

Thank you so much again Terry for another great stay. We stayed there for a week in October (29th to 5th November). This is approximately the fourth time that we've stayed at this resort and the reasons: (1) reasonably priced, (2) friendly and helpful staff, (3) clean and quiet rooms, (4) away from the hustle and bustle as well and (5) being close to Pacific Fair and the beaches. Excellent. Thank you once again.

Great location quiet residential low rise street, beach at the end easy walking distance. Super clean rooms, very helpful staff, comfortable, attention to detail high — great value.

It was a great place to stay. Nice and close to the beach and shops. Management were very pleasent and helpful.

Staying over Easter with the fam and its great. Service is really good and the pool and spa are really nice too.

The location was perfect. The beach was only a couple of hundred metres at the end of the street and also only a short walk to Broadbeach and Pacific Fair shopping and restaurants.

I absolutely love Montego Sands, it's in a fantastic location, the staff are so respectful and lovely, its clean and excellent value for money. This is the 4th time I have been back in a year, and Terry and Mia, the management team, continue to provide brilliant service that is beyond exceptional. It's great location is just so close to the beach, and just across the road from Pacific Fair, a wonderful shopping complex, with cinema, high end shops and all the big retail outlets. It is a peaceful place, great if on business or definitely family friendly. Thanks so much Terry, Mia, Will & Tina. Stayed January 2017, travelled solo.

Dissapointed with the stay. Requested a secluded room with garden views and was placed in the less desirable room at the resort entrance with no privacy. Free Wi-Fi was advertised but on arrival was explained this was not the case. The staff member tried to deny the clearly advertised feature. The room was booked for a week and was explained no room service included. The premium TV chanels were dodgey with poor sound quality. We had issues with the washing maching making a clanking sound and as a result could not be used. Frustrated with the stay and will not recomend this accomodation.

Fantastic resort and lovely managers. So close to casino, shopping centres and the light rail with the beach only a two minute walk. We will be back.

Stayed at Montego Sands from 15 June to 17 June 2016. This is the fourth time my family have stayed at this resort. Nice and quiet. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was immaculate and comfortable. 5 Star Rooms. Friendly staff (thanks Terry). They make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Lovely and quiet. Best suits families. No yobo's. Heated pool and spa, nice staff. Basic appartment style rooms, but airconditioned. Helpful and friendly management, close to everything. Secure underground carpark. Right near patrolled beach in busy times. Broadband internet (not Wi-Fi). No road noise but you can hear the waves at night :).

Very nice, wonderful rooms, close to the beach, nice clean rooms, nice staff, I would definitely stay here again.
