EVERYONE was pleasant and efficient. They all went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. They were very gracious hosts and their sincere and ever present smiles were so welcoming. I haven't even mentioned the rooms! Reasonably priced and immaculate I hated to leave. Everything from the well stocked rooms to the beautiful artwork was stunning. If you want the best, definitely go to The Regional Heritage Hotel in Cairns. And bring your best smile 'cause you're gonna have lots of competition. Thank you to all for such a wonderful stay! Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Staff and location r great. Room was clean. Service man was super proffesional. I had just some usual problems, the electric kettle should change (not clean) airconditin didnt work properly.

Well I personally really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone who wishes to visit Cairns choose the Tropical Heritage.

We have been very happy with our stay at Tropical Heritage Cairns. We were upgraded upon arrival to a nicer room. The cleaning staff have worked hard during the day to clean up after us (dishes included). We have found the staff very helpful with any questions, including about doing our laundry. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived and noise is minimal from outside and other rooms.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful. I lost my card the first day I arrived and they didn't charge for a replacement. They are also flexible when it comes to checking in. The hotel is within a 5 minutes walk from the marina and all the restaurants and pubs. All activities offer a pick up from this hotel. The room is clean and spacious, but on the first day there was only a small bottle of body wash; considering the weather in Cairns that is far from enough. They have a washing machine and a dryer in case you needed to do your laundry before leaving. Three dollars for the washer, three dollars for the dryer and one dollar for the powder. Didn't try their breakfast or pool as I didn't have time.

Average location near the esplanade but 10 minutes walking to the city center. Nice modern room with flat tv. The shower in the room is low and unadjustable which is very uncomfortable for average and tall people Free Wi-Fi but they have a data limit that runs out quickly which you have to recharge everytime at the reception The pool is very small Good value for money.

Large rooms and a comfortable bed which was basically all we needed seeing that we were out on tours for most of the time but the decore and fittings in the rooms are getting a bit old and the shower head was only about 5 foot so had to bend down to wash hair, not great if you're tall!

Nice and clean. Perfect for a stop over or work. Short walk to boulevard.

Stopped off here while heading up to port douglas. Not too bad.

This is my personal opinion. I didnt mind the room, it was clean and tidy, the A/C worked well, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Ive stayed in a lot worse elsewhere in Cairns for more money! It was a bit hit and miss trying to get a car park at times and although it had a big shower, the shower head wasnt adjustable, which made it hard to wash my hair at 6'2" tall. They offer a cheap breakfast (I think ot was $7.00? ) but we ate elsewhere. Didnt use the pool facilities so cant comment. I guess I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Five minutes walk from the town centre, the Tropical Heritage is a pleasant hotel. The rooms are a good size with large bathroom and although not the most modern, they are comfortable and well equipped. Laundry facilities are available and a very small pool is located outside. The staff are friendly and the hotel is nice and quiet.

Nice, central place, but quiet enough, away from all the backpackers. Few minutes walking distance from the esplanade. Clean rooms, but dated, but maintained. Pool is more of a tub.

Clean and tidy; friendly staff. I asked for a microwave to heat my food came back to the room and there it was. Thank you.

Room was comfortable, shower head was only high enough for someone 5 foot tall and being 6 foot 4 was quite awkward, but beds were very comfortable all in all not bad.

I lost something and their staff post it to me. Really nice will come back again.

Great place to stay in budget and close to the esplanade. Walking distance from jetty to the great barrier reef escapades/tours. Receptionist very nice and helpful. Rooms decent with clean toilets.

Very friendly personnel, rooms are fine, with high ceiling, TV a bit small, lots of space, huge wardrobe. Swimming pool is tiny, doubt anyone swim there.

We were only going to stay in Cairns for two nights. But we fell in love with Cairns and with this lovely motel. Rosemary was a wonderful hostess and with her friendship and Cairns's atmosphere, we decided to stay another 3 nights. I'll never forget the experience and would recommend the Heritage to anyone who's going to Cairns.
