We stayed one night with my friends from every where in NSW. We love our stay with the following reason.
1) Room interior design was awesome and very clean
2) we had nice sleep with comfy bed it was very quite.
3) free Wi-Fi, anything inside the fridge are free
4) accessible to transport.
5) walking distance to shopping areas.
I can recommend this hotel with friends 👍

I only visited a friend, but the concierge was very friendly.
The foyer was Covid safe and all the areas were very clean. It is central to bars and restaurants.

Perfect location, great breakfast. Excellent friendly host.

Check in was quick and easy. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Has Wi-Fi, a wine bar and the mini bar is complementary. Has muesli bars, water and soft drink, pretty good I say. Close to shopping and food places everywhere.

Well placed for harbour Sidney opera house trains station and bus only 15 mins walk. Staff helpful and friendly housekeeping very good bedroom bathroom very clean.

Very friendly staff welcomed us at reception. A nice quiet room and very comfortable.

We stayed here for the weekend for the Blackmores Sydney running festival. Great central location. Public transport options a very short walk nearby. Beds were comfy, pillows were comfy. Loved the peace and quiet at night for a good sleep. Free Wi-Fi, movies and minibar an awesome little bonus. Friendly helpful staff with special extras like bottles of water for the runners heading to and returning from the event. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Tank Stream!

The rooms although smallish had everything you need & was very clean. Breakfast was very good with 2 cooks available to make eggs to your liking. The concierge staff were very welcoming & helpful. A definite return on my next trip to Sydney.

Very happy with the stay here. Good clean room, free Wi-Fi and mini bar (no alcohol). Walking distance to Circular Quay and Pitt St Mall. Nearby train for anything further. Will be happy to stay here again.

Nice place and very conveniently located. I was first booked in a wheel chair access room. Reception staff was very helpful and changed my room when I mentioned the shower was low pressure and just luke warm. They moved me into a room with a great view of the city. And all was great!

Great location… ten min walk to opera house. Great services an very clean and quite room.

Small rooms but comfortable and convenient to everything. Breakfast is very disappointing, save your $25. Need to park at the Wilsons 150m up the road, that works ok.

Perfect position. Nice team. Paid for an upgrade when I arrived, because I was told the room I booked was set up for a disabled person — this wasn’t noted on the booking page.

Started in an atrium room. Smallest room in house. Still bed was excellent and room so well designed that it suited perfectly. Not a room in which to linger but excellent as a central base in Sydney. Recommended.

A modern hotel, strategically located in the heart of Sydney. A few steps from all sides! Their amazing staff, as well as all the facilities!

Conveniently located near Martin place with ready access to public transport. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They are on the smaller side and mine didn't have a view but that's not what you come here for.

A very modern clean hotel approx 10 minutes walk from Sydney harbour, so a great central location for exploring the city. The room was a little on the small side, but it was clean with a spacious modern bathroom and shower, it also had the added bonus of free drinks and snacks in the mini fridge in the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge choice to suit all appetites. Staff were very efficient and attentivŕ

Nice place with a good location BUT, it seems to be impossible to get them to respond to e-mails. This was true when we booked. Then they set us up in a cab to go to the airport that was a complete and total rip-off. Google rating was 1 star (only because 0 doesn't exist) for over 100 reviews. Again, wrote them about this and absolutely no response. Hence the low rating.

Up-market contemporary hotel in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Rooms are quite small, but are well appointed. The use of curved walls and furniture looks good but is less practical when trying to work at a laptop on the skimpy curved desk squashed next to the wardrobes. Bathrooms have good sized shower with adjustable height shower rose suitable for quite tall people. However, tall people may find the standard room bed a little short one end. Blockout blinds work well. Ample lighting. Full sized ironing board with steam iron in all rooms. Excellent restaurant on level 2 serving $25 buffet breakfasts and moderately priced, delicious and well presented dinner menu. Sydney is seriously over priced, and the Tank Stream Hotel is no exception. I paid $309 per night (room only) for a standard room. Even at Sydney prices, $250 would be more realistic given the very small rooms.

Staff at front desk is always helpful & friendly. Very sincere attending to guest. Chamber maid was helpful when I ask for more amenities.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Short walking distance to Darling Harbour and the Opera House. The rooms are very comfy and also have a complimentary mini bar (non alcoholic). Staff are all very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend.

Great location, good price Dec 28 to New year's eve 2017. We opted for a small inside facing room. Considering the hotel is surrounded by tall buildings, we knew there wouldn't be much of a view. We didn't care, as we were out most of the day and evening. Neat and clean, staff were very courteous, and helpful. Katia was awesome. Wealth of information, extremely helpful, and friendly. Hotel very close to 'The Rocks', just a few blocks from the harbour, the bridge, and the opera house. Mobile phone store just across the intersection. Great location for those on a budget, but want to be close to the fun!

The hotel staff are great! That's the reason I stayed in this hotel a few times. Takes about 8 minutes of walk to the shopping area and eateries. The bus and train station are just round tbe corner. Coles are located in the train station. 5 to 7 min walk to Sydney harbour. It would be great if the hotel can look into its window curtain. There's light leakage due to its curtain not properly done. I noticed this happens to all the rooms that I've stayed in. Otherwise I would have given a 5 stars.

Staff were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel was within walking distance to Circular Quay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great view of the Harbour Bridge from our room. Very reasonably priced.

Great location in the heart of CBd area. But the hotel only equipped with 3 lifts to guests room. Expect long wait during morning peak hour. The bed is too soft that I felt myself sunk into the bed and it's not comfortable at all. Bad for spine too. Other than that, they offer complimentary minibar and in room nespresso machine and coffee. This hotel does not have a fitness centre.

Terrible. Paid $500 for the night, dirty hallway carpets, shower hot water runs hot and cold, cooling for the air conditioning turns off late at night and kicks in early morning, etc, etc. We had no running water in the building! We were only told when we got there that water will be turned off to the building between 3am and 8am. Not sure when it got turned back on — we left in the morning at 9.30am and it still wasn't working. Could have been told prior to arriving. Breakfast is a joke, 2 manning ALL guest. Complaints all round us about running out of food. Would not recommend or stay there again.

Great, friendly staff. Lovely clean room with great inclusions such as Wi-Fi and movies. Comfortable bed and pillows and being able to upgrade so we could check into our room early for a small fee was great! Location is also really central. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good experience in the city area.

Great service, was able to upgrade and check in immediately, love the free movies Wi-Fi and mini bar which — actually had some good stuff! Fantastic central location for walking to the rocks or darling harbour. The room was compact but very clean and obviously new.

I gave this hotel rating 5 star not for once I stayed there for a day but I worked this hotel for 6 months long and everyone at this hotel was so much helpful. This was my 2nd job in Sydney but still today it was the best job for me cuz I worked at The Tank Stream Hotel, Sydney. May be I am the only one who reviewed this hotel not as the guest but as the worker but believe me this is the only hotel in Sydney which treats its worker as human unlike many others.

It's great for it's central location but avoid if you're claustrophobic. I didn't know that I was in Japan again but yes the room was tiny. A huge queen bed in a very small room where you only had about half a meter of space separating from the wall. Even the shower was just big enough. The room that I stayed in was one that was facing the elevators so great views. Complimentary bar (juice and water), Nespresso coffee and movies doesn't cover up the issues of the room unfortunately.

I Everything about the hotel & staff… The mini fridge with soft drinks & water is a plus point, the nespresso coffee machine is my favourite, the pillows & bed is so comfortable, the unique sliding door between the standing shower area & WC was refreshing The Staff were friendly & the buffet breakfast was good. I thoroughly enjoyed the non-dairy birscher muesli. However, it'll be good to have some salad at the Buffet too. …
And it will be better if The Chef (asian) is friendlier. He was abrupt when we ordered our eggs. The Servicing Staff were charming. I am looking forward to another experience with you in the near future.

Nicely appointed rooms — loved the body soap, wash, shampoos. Slept like a baby in the soft bed. Like that the hotel provides complimentary mini bar, including daily refillable bottled water.

Has the basics and nice and neat, but does annoying things like a "complimentary mini-bar" that is really just an OJ that they don't even replace daily. No paid/real mini-bar if you wanted one… Bit of sound from the adjacent bars comes through, good blinds to block out the light.

Small rooms but very cosy, comfortable bed. Mini bar has some cereal bars and soft drinks, all free of charge. Lovely toiletries and very delicious breakfast.

Just what I was looking for. Easy access to the subway, to the harbor, and a comfortable room. In town for a conference but got to see VIVID as well. Fantastic.

Big room for the price and right in town. I stay here when in town visiting the Sydney office which is a block away so perfect location for that. Free mini bar (no alcohol, don't get too excited). Good black out curtains and quite sound proof room. Great shower pressure and very comfy bed. Limited room service and the location in town is a bit random if you're looking for food. But circular quay is a ten min walk away which has heaps of options.

A really nice place to stay. Our room was small but very modern, comfortable, well-equipped, spotlessly clean. There was pod coffee in the room. Comfortable bed. Good service. Convenient central location close to railway stations.

Great location, very close to circular quey. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good quality, scramble eggs are very good and better among other hotels. Love the free movies and free mini bar services. Very different from other hotels. The is small but clean and cozy. Will consider to stay again in future.

Great little hotel in central Sydney. Well appointed and helpful staff. Close to Wynyard but surprisingly quiet through the night.

Though my room was on the smaller side with only an internal window, it was very comfortable with an excellent queen bed and spotlessly clean bathroom. The fact the hotel is quite new means that everything is in perfect condition. The mini bar inclusions and fast wireless internet are peeks.

Nice and clean rooms at a perfect location to visit Sydney. We had a extremely nice and friendly person at check-in. She was very helpful and charming. Gave us a perfect start for our trip. Had no breakfast included thus can't say anything about it. In short, we loved it.

Not worth it. Best you can rate is maximum 2-3 stars. look around to find a better hotel for the same price. I told my office that don't book this hotel for our staff travel to Sydney.

Pros: Very clean, cool Japanese kinda vibe, free Wi-Fi, brilliant shower, free movies, solid AC control, friendly staff. Cons: I should have been told the parking discount was for 24hrs only. I left at the 25hr mark and it cost me 90 bucks.
