The rooms were poorly cleaned, the 'cooking facilities' were bad, the Wi-Fi (which you have to pay for) kept cutting out, the reception staff were rude and obnoxious, the beds were uncomfortable, the shower was touchy, the TV had minimal channels and bad reception, the communal laundry was expensive and broken, lighting was weak, the road noise was constant, the walls were thin, the floor was uneven, the 'kitchen' was stocked with barely any utensils, a member of staff bagged in and ask to take one of my pot plants?, the heating was poor and the bathroom door had no lock, kept sliding open and coming off its rail. For your own sake go somewhere else.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Good position. Close to everything. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were what we expected for the price but had everything we needed. Fabulous entry stairs. Would definitely stay again.

We're enjoying our stay here. Room is comfortable. It has most things that you would need except for shelving or storage in the bathroom. No disability access that we're aware of. Quite a few steps at entry. Price is very good and handy to shops, wharf, bus stop, etc.

Do not book this place It’s pure filth Mould threw out the bathroom spider webs spiders place is just dirty nothing good to say 8 days our sheets were never changed Clean towels only once in all that Time Completely false advertising This place is nothing but a pack packers No lift the room stated queen bed and a double Only a double and a fold out single Just unacceptable It’s definitely not fit for humans to stay Will be getting in touch with health and safety and whoever else to go thru this place Carpets ripped trip on ripped carpets Floors very uneven Windows doors shake from the gym down stairs the man at reception extremely rude I rate this filthy place 0 out of 10 Oh try and get your money when you want to leave is impossible Dont make the same mistake I did Ask to check out your room before you pay Needs to be demolished you pay for car parking under neath it stunk All I can say is don’t stay there.

This hotel is rubbish. The first thing to greet you is 35 flight of stairs to heave your luggage up. No lift. The rooms are on top of a fitness center which opens at 5 in the morning with a lot of noise reaching the rooms above. Between the bedroom and bathroom there is a wicked 50mm step that trips you into falling head first into the basin. Apart from no air conditioning the rest is ok.

Not the best place to stay in Manly, good for backpackers with low bought.

Stayed here off and on over the last 4 years, great location, value for money and great staff.

It was pretty good, cheap and cheerful, a bit annoyed that the Wi-Fi kept cutting out though.

Spacious rooms. But old furniture. Could have used a vanity or cupboard in bathroom. No elevator for heavy luggage.

Not as pictured — had a broken microwave twice. No elevator or ramp access, only 3 sets of stairs.

Good value for money good location and always clean. Always someone on end of a phone if needed (cheap and cheerful) if you want 5star then you would be paying double or more in Manley.

The apartments are modern and clean. They are almost due for an upgrade though. The location is second to none. Everything is very close including the Manly ferry. The parking is an asset.

Never stay here pictures online look amazing but the truth when you enter the room is vastly different. Vomit stains on carpet hair in the beds and pillows bath room covered and I mean covered in scum. The room was poor poor quality for money I dont know if all the good reviews are from people that work there or payed reviews but never stay here ever. We had it booked for 4 days and when we let them know how bad it was and that we would not be staying even one night they offered to refund one nights accommodation from the booking even though we spent about 15 minutes in the room. Worst accommodation I have ever come across.

Cheapest price to stay in Manly. Liveable, close to the sea and the wharf. If you cannot bring your stuffs to a 2 storey stairs, don't book at this place. No elevator is available. The reception is at the nearby backpacker. Parking is available for $15 per day. Wifi is available for purchase.

Really good value compared to anything else in Manly. Near to everything. The rooms aren't 5 star, but they're pretty good!

Do not even consider staying here, its run by Backpackers, which they dont tell you before booking. It was very dirty, very small, the large sliding door to our balcony did not open, the shower had mould growing everywhere, stains all over the floor in our room. The hallway has dirty stains all over the carpets. The fridge in our room was all iced up and smelled. There were no extra blankets or a dooner for the bed and the noise from people running up and down the hallway kept us awake half the night. Not to mention they want you to pay a security deposit on the room key of $30 which they were not wanting to give back in cash as we paid in cash. When we went to check into the room we were told it was ready only to find the cleaner was in our bed. AGAIN DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! Pay a little extra and get a better place, trust me.

Stayed in Manly Beachside apartments in March 2011. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is just beautiful, 5 min walk to the beach and 15 min to Manly wharf. The room was OK as well. The only drawback is humidity.

Great place to stay in Manly Beach. Room was clean and tidy, everything we needed was there, we did get fresh towels every other day. The location is superb, just few min walk to Manly beach. The staff is friendly and easy to deal with.
