Quality of food products has definitely improved from the last two years or so, better chips and thicker, better quality steak. But the quality of the actual food is rather inconsistent. Sometimes it'll be pretty good, sometimes bad. But considering the prices its overall pretty good.

Old school tradesman pub but great to see them supporting Local Music. Seen many Great bands there…

Clean and relaxing place. Employees were friendly and helpful. Nice place to stay for a vacation.

It was a great afternoon. Kids playing in the beer garden, plenty of space to enjoy. Great beers range. Good parking.

It has easy access on the bus line (l80 L80 to collaroy plateau) it has a vibrant atmosphere and good food at affordable prices. Has a live band in the beer garden on Sundays and playground for the kidlets.

The only pub around not to have sold out and built units on it, old school charm dive pub with a mad decent pub restaurant.

It's not called the "blood house"get nothing… great "tradies pub" with great range of food at reasonable prices… don't Mum there as Mum might turn her nose up… as I said great Tradies Pub… get the idea!

What a homely, relaxed and friendly hotel! The perfect balance for Mum's and Dad's. Clientele all take care of each other and their kids like one extended family. Staff are hospitable, professional and friendly. FOOD WOW! And drinks are reasonably priced. Not to mention the large beer garden with kids playground, DJ and jumping castle on Sundays and school holidays… the perfect combination and the best pub on the Northern Beaches!

Great old school 60s pub. Great atmosphere, always feel welcome. Awesome food and great for kids.

Nice outdoor area, but that is really it. Just a typical plain suburban pub.

Quality food for a cheap price. Have recently started accepting card for food purchases too which is a nice change!

Excellent restaurant. The room was renovated but very sparsely furnished no carpet just wood lookalike floors… no table… small handbasin no enough to lay a toothbrush on … 4 foxtel channels and 8 free to air… no wi fi … noisy at night from adjoining rooms… but clean. For the money there are more comfortable places to stay.

Basic pub but with excellent (but not cheap) cheap food. Live music occasionally. Outside area available.

Great sized room, comfortable beds, clean and fresh bathrooms attached to a fantastic pub with a yummy bistro… What more can you ask for from a budgetly priced motel?!

Great and cheap steaks! Just the indoors doesn't look the most pleasant.

Although quiet on a Saturday lunch the food was well priced for the serving sizes and with good flavour as well had the special chicken-sub burger and was unable to finish it. Craft beer pricey at $12 a pint but other beer was reasonably priced.

If you turn up here on a friday arvo and you havent been going there for the past 20 years every week, all the blokes will look at you like youre an alien and youre walking into their lounge room. But yeaaa once youre past that its just a standard pub. Not bad for a couple of cheekys with some mates but wouldn't take the missus there for a romantic date thats for sure!

Nice casual pub, recently renovated their kitchen offering. Great place for lunch.

Went on a Sunday. Plenty of parking. Friendly bar staff. Old venue. Food is very well priced. Fun tunes on a Sunday to eat to. More of a family venue at the time.
