My family and I were having a really tough time with my daughter requiring medical appointments in Sydney, while we are from rural NSW and had work pressures on top of that stress.
The staff at Travelodge Manly left us a beautiful, welcoming surprise in our room and made the whole, stressful experience easier.
The room was clean and lovely. The staff were just so professional, whilst being warm and accommodating.
I would recommend the Travelodge to anyone!
Thank you to the staff, your kindness means the world to me and made a little girls journey a little easier.

The price is the only thing that's kept up with the times' very dated, very disappointing will stay at the Novotel at Manly next time.

A beautiful thoughtful surprise waiting in our room on arrival of a bottle of wine and balloons and lovely words written on a card wishing us a happy 35th anniversary.
Alice on the customer Service desk is truly a lovely lady. I cannot fault our 2 night stay here.

Unfortunately my husband and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
We passed up staying at the Novotel due to slightly higher prices, however we should have paid the extra.
during winter in Sydney it would have been nice to have a heater that worked and didnt sound like a truck.
We paid $15 per person for breakfast when we probably ate about $8 worth each, not to mention the so called "hot" food was actually cold and tasted like plastic.
The lift felt like a death trap.
How you can charge $10 for parking per night is ridiculous when you merely go through 1 boom gate to get to the car park, so your car is actually out in the open. No card swipe is needed to get out of the carpark, and the car park is easily accesible to pedestrians, so really, your car isnt safe from theft. I was pissed off that my car was left out in the elements after paying for it to be there.
They advertise that the rooms have Foxtel, ummm it is like 3 channels… nothing to brag about.
The rooms are crazy noisy. You can literally hear other rooms turn on their light switches.
Upon check out, we queried additional charges (yes the charges ended up being ours), but whilst asking for clarification, the staff member seemed confused himself. Perhaps clearer notes should be left on the system.

No aircon for 2 days temp outside in the high 30’s the place is stuffy. Given 2 fans to compensate, just not the place to stay.

Very good for a basic hotel. Only the Wi-Fi lets it down. Just got new TVs in all rooms too.

Fantastic, clean, great staff, fantastic location.

Tired rooms, water flow restricted to shower left barely a trickle. Aircon heat not working so room was cold. No Restaurant and almost no Restaurants nearby. Extra charge for credit card when nearly everyone would use one. Staff were nice and efficient however.

Very clean and tidy. Staff were Friendly and Helpful. Facilities were most inclusive. Position is close to many other Facilities.

Dear Travelodge Manly Warringah staff. When I stayed with you a few weeks ago (a stay I will never forget for all the wrong reasons) I left a water bottle and a wine chiller in the fridge in the room.
I called the same day as check out and asked if the items could be send on to me in Randwick. Despite the fact you told me I’d have to incur the cost I agreed.
As a JOKE, I requested that the staff member who took the items to the post office would empty the 800ml water bottle as that would obviously make the parcel extra heavy and add to the cost.
So, imagine my delight today to have the pleasure of paying $20 to collect a parcel with a gym bottle full of water and a wine chiller that has been punctured and leaked all it’s gloopy contents throughout the bag. Zero attention to detail, zero customer service and zero chance we’ll ever be back.

Good value hotel in good location. Walk across road to Leagues club. Clean tidy nice staff plenty of parking. Good value. Pay ahead and get discount.

I stayed here for one night during a quick trip from interstate. The location is very central and easy to get to. Very close to the main road, while being just far enough off it to ensure a quiet nights sleep. The rooms are clean and modern with everything you'd expect to find. No room service, but there is a great breakfast provided downstairs. Nice areas to relax in the foyer, or the courtyard in the rear. Overall a decent place to stay.

Air conditioning very noisey. Room very very noisey — next to laundry and lift. Had to return to the desk 3 times to gain entrance to the room. Girls very helpful and friendly, they seemed embarressed on what the place had ooffer, which is not much. 2 stars from me very dissapointing.

Good solid hotel stay. Value for money and has all the right amenities and helpful staff.

This hotle looks imposing from the outside but is somewhat dated inside. Our aircon wasn't working efficiently and there were no screens on the windows so we had a very stuffy night's sleep. We expected better than powdered scrambled eggs for the buffet breakfast too.

Regular, economical but clean and tidy location.

The room was so small and the carpets were disgusting, I wouldn't put a dead dog in any rooms, the rooms look like that they get rented by the hour by prostitutes.
The only facilities they had in the room was 4 sugars, 4 teas, 4 coffees and that's it, NO biscuits for the tea or coffee NO room service and No mini bar at all and they give you the wrong information about food services that they do provide, we weren't told that they do serve breakfast in the mornings in the main… lobby.
For the price that they charge per night is absolutely highway robbery… This is what review I gave the Travel lodge in Brookevale and they still have a hide to charge me $10.00 for parking after paying $200 p/n, what a bloody joke that was and the carpets smelt that bad we had to spray the room/carpet with half a can of deodorant before we could even walk in the room, it was the room from hell…

The location is bleak and the nearest supermarket has to walk for about 10-15 minutes. Imagine a 15-minute walk with something with a large bag.

Room was really nice and the price wasn't too bad. Only gripes were that I was a disappointed that staff couldn't tell me any specs of the free Wi-Fi vs the paid Wi-Fi and the invoicing system is really confusing.

Good, simple rooms, with comfortable living arrangements. Missing some of the fancier creature comforts such as Foxtel but covers the basics. Shared the room with two others on single beds, would recommend for maximum of two people (either double bed or twin single) simply due to size restrictions. The view that I got was nothing to write home about, could just see the top of Centre Point tower (city views I guess? ) I didn't partake in the breakfast offered but it looked nice and well cooked with a basic range. Location of the hotel is its biggest appeal, right near the local RSL and in very close to the heart of town, with petrol stations and food options all less than five minutes away.

Close to warringah mall. About 10 minutes or less to drive to closest beach. Manly is about a 10 minute drive. Rooms are spacious.

Check in was quick and painless, room was perfectly clean with everything you need. Pity that you are charged extra for parking! The included breakfast was definitely not up to standard. Coffee machine ran out of milk twice, poor selection of fruit (only canned, nothing fresh) and yoghurts. Watery scrambled eggs. Croissants and muffins were not fresh and not replaced once they ran out — rather have breakfast elsewhere!

It is a nice Hotel but the breakfast and Internet connection are really disappointing.

Good hotel at a reasonable price, spacious with a comfortable bed and walk in shower. Minor maintenance issues were attended to promptly and the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Will never stay here again. If u want to charge people to park their car you need to make that completely known before people book. You are happy to disclose other fees on the website & state that parking is unavailable, how about you change your description to parking available at an additional cost!

I require reasonable internet access so that I can work. I paid $9.95 per day for "Premium" internet access (Travelodge is too wily to quantify the speed). Movielink is their vendor for internet access. The Telstra speedtest is 1.0 up/down, slightly better than the free service. I complained to Movielink this morning. Late afternoon I returned and the speed test is SLOWER at. 9 up/down. I rang and was promised by Movie link that the issue would be escalated but they could not tell me when anyone would get back to me, when it would be fixed, or even quantify what speed that I could expect. Nor could they tell me what place in the queue my issue is. Meanwhile the premium internet access keeps dropping out. I am so annoyed because I cannot work, and I need to get work done. Travelodge, change your vendor for internet access!

Ok rooms for the price but lacking the finer details. Negatives include very small fridge, no mini bar or munchies and no milk supplied for tea and coffee. I was also disappointed that the TVs are locked so you can't plug in devices such as a PS or DVD player.

Do not stay when the football is on If you want parking! Had called twice to confirm I was able to get parking for my new car. Instead turned up to find a full carpark as other guests had brought multiple vehicles for one room. The staff advised to attempt to find a park somewhere else and hope that the carpark would clear after the football. Asked for a refund and found a new hotel. Better practices for the carpark are needed to avoid this as many guests were left in the same situation.

If you are staying in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney, the Manly-Warringah Travelodge offers both a convenient location and good value. At breakfast time, the in-house restaurant is often very busy, and outside dining options are limited after hours (the Manly-Warringah Leagues Club has nearby dining facilities). Where I have had any problems with in-room facilities or my bill, hotel staff have responded quickly to address the problem.

We loved staying here after a very long flight from the UK. The room was large with some basic cooking facilities. The room and bathroom was very clean. Great breakfast. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Parking is very easy and is on site.

Very small good location pretty clean.

Had queen room for a week. Room was good, clean and tidy, aircon was insufficient and when mentioned to hotel staff and told that maintenance would look at it nothing happened/changed though they provided a fan to help. Internet is crap though, very slow even after paying for the whole week to have unlimited, could barely browse regular websites let alone load videos or send large files. Not a bad place to stay, rooms were quiet and dark too which is a big one for me. Staff were very helpful, especially when my key cards kept faulting.

A very comfortable place to stay. However, the coffee machine in the breakfast area produced the worst coffee I have ever had — machine needs cleaning every day please. Also Travel lodge, come on, charging $12 for 1 hr of Wi-Fi! It is free across the road in the Club. And, I believe that parking was free a few weeks ago and is now $10 per night.

Pleasant place to stay with affordable prices. We stayed here for a week and found no issues with the friendly staff who accommodated us when we wanted to clean the room after usual cleaning hours. Definitely will be back to stay the next time we are here.
