For the amount of money you pay for a room and the whole experience was a disgrace! When we called to book the receptionist was extremely rude and hurried (should have taken that as a red flag) Upon arrival Nina was lovely, got to our room and it was very stuffy and the bathroom was tiny. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We were there for a function and our entree was cold and very over powering taste of red wine, our mains were just as bad the meat was raw some people left hungry, although I will say the beef cheek was amazing … Go to check out this morning and once again was greeted by a very rude receptionist and tried to bill us for things we didn’t even use, was told once it was resolved they would call us back, yet nothing… All in all it was a very bad experience and I will not stay here next time we come to Tamworth.

Very nice rooms, warm pool, hot spa, close to CBD.

Most expensive place in town and you use pineapple from a tin. Good work guys.

My husband and I stayed at the Powerhouse while travelling Central NSW. We would highly recommend the stay for anyone travelling to Tamworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Powerhouse Tamworth will be our first choice of accommodation whenever we are back in Tamworth. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We checked in a couple of hours ago and couldn't be happier. This is one of the best hotel rooms we've ever had in our 8 years in Australia (so clean, well designed etc) and we weren't even expecting it! The kids LOVED the pool and jacuzzi and the front desk were very helpful with suggestions for our fussy eaters. The beds are super comfortable, the amenities are awesome. I'm really excited about the rest of our stay.

Great food and very lovely staff.

Only stayed one night. Well appointed comfortable rooms. Tariff mid week was reasonable but can get pricey on weekends. The dinner menu in the room for the onsite restaurant seemed very pricey so we gave it a swerve and settled for a takeaway instead. Breakfast in the restaurant next morning was reasonably priced and good quality. A look at the slabs of aged meat hanging in the restaurant indicated that the steaks, tho expensive, would probably be well worth the high price. Maybe we'll give a steak in the restaurant a go next time.

One of the cleanest Hotels I have been in For a long time and the staff are to be commended on thier attitudes and over and above service. Food was the best.

When I had the special event on I was surprised on how good the food were and the setup/presentation of the building was beautifully structured and also very Vibrant as to the colour theme as you walk in Thanks Qaulity Hotel Powerhouse Tamworth.

This is a high quality hotel with efficient service and good rooms. However, I think that to some people food and drink prices might be a bit expensive. Do your research first. Otherwise I highly recommend staying here.

Was a nice place to stay but the shower was terrible. By the time you got it to the right temperature there is very little water pressure! So hardly worth the time wasted to get it right.

Lovely desserts. Helpful friendly staff. Yummy Perch. Small issue with one main meal promptly and easily sorted by staff.

What a great experience, from the time we entered the reception area to book in until the time we left. Very friendly, professional and efficient staff, clean comfortable and well stocked room. Jack's creek steak is the best in the world, 3 years running. But none of that matters if you can't cook it properly. Powerhouse can and delivers an outstanding meal and dining experience.

Earlier this month we held our Company Culture & Disruptive Leadership Summit at QHP Tamworth and the service was amazing. Each detail was looked after and nothing was too much. I was impressed with Susie’s eye for detail and regular checks throughout the day. The food and beverage through the day was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We finished with drinks and platters in the bar — a wonderful way allow delegates a fantastic networking experience in a professional yet relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend having any Company or professional event at QHP Tamworth.

Great food and phenomenal service. It is the only place in Tamworth with exceptionally trained staff.

The staff here were fantastic and went out of their way to help us. They were polite, pleasant and helped us get settled in very quickly. They even carried some of our bags to our room. The room was neat, tidy and very comfortable. Highly recommended staying at the Quality Hotel Powerhouse when in Tamworth.

Party of 14. Fantastic service by our single waitress, she was always on top of drinks and food orders. Everyone's meal was perfect and delicious. Bill total was split. Highly recommend.

Dined with a group of 7. The Coal Bunker Bar provided an impressive selection of drinks before our dinner. The restaurant was just a good with outstanding service and meals. The menu was surprisingly diverse, as was the wine list, and the open style kitchen made for a great atmosphere.

This is by far one of the best country hotels around. The rooms are excellent. The meals are amazing and the bar is a great place for drinks and unwinding. Excellent drink selection too.

The restaurant is absolutely excellent. Dinner was delicious and some of the best steaks we've had in ages. Dessert was sublime, especially the sticky date pudding. Breakfast was delicious as well. Can't recommend this place enough!

Went for dinner with a friend on a Saturday night at the restaurant Haveing stayed at the Powerhouse in Armidale I had high expectations and I definitely wasn't disappointed. It was a great experience wonderful atmosphere, all the staff was wonderful and the food did not disappoint eather I will be dinning there again and would recommend.

I dont like your service. Service was fine and friendly. Food left a lot to be desired for the price, maybe Monty's would be nicer.

Whilst our honeymoon suite was a nice enough place, I am really disappointed in the powerhouse not honouring the discount as suggested. As locals, we recommended our wedding guests to stay here as we thought it would be the best with the possibility of receiving a discount on their stay — the price was actually more over the phone and no discount at all. Some guests therefore booked online as it was cheaper — powerhouse then wouldn't include these in the 10 or more rooms booked by guests to receive our honeymoon suite for free. Disappointing and based on this, will not recommend to others. Many of our guests no doubt will be doing the same.

Probably the best Motel I have ever stayed in.

I was quite impressed with all the staff at the Hotel, the apartment accommodation was quite pleasant with all the necessary amenities. My thanks go specially to Ben Davis, Hotel manager, in my opinion he has shown tremendous customer service, and from what I hear he is an excellent chef and again, thanks for the nice dinner. My thanks to all the staff again and please keep the baby grand piano at the bar because I am coming back soon! Regards, Sergio.

My favourite place to stay when in Tamworth. Good rooms, clean, nice pool. The only thing I don't like about this place is overly priced restaurant where food is ok.

Jyeboy! Funny too big of a wrap, the managers name is also jye and you did the review as if it was an advertisement. That's a terrible way of plugging your own motel how sad!

First night a disaster. Wool bedding had been left on despite a request to remove due to allergy. It was late so instead of calling reception I elected to make do by covering the bed with towels and using a robe as a blanket. I was still a little cold so I turned on the a/c which then blasted myself and the bed with debris. I ended up moving rooms at 1am and had a miserable night with no sleep. The rest of my stay was great though. Mind you, I wasn't compensated for the bad first night. Apparently, being permitted a new room for the night was compensation enough. I expected better for the price. I also loved the little touch of charging extra for tea and coffee at the buffet breakfast. At $30 per person, you'd think it'd be covered.
