We always stay here when we go to Ballina. Its the best place. Always spotless close to everything and the best friendly service. Nothing is ever a problem.

Great spot, wonderful hosts, clean, spacious & would highly recommend.

Windows and air conditioner were dirty. OWNERS go into your room each time you are off the premises. They snoop through your things and turned off the air conditioner so you come back to a hot room. Staff come and confront you with a nasty manor about things they have found in your room. We won’t be staying here again

Spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean room with spa, coffee machine and netflix. King size comfy bed meant a great nights sleep. Pool and bbq facilities. Centrally located. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Good place. Nice and quiet. Enjoying. Nice price. Everything was good. Water was hot. No dead animals. Everything was clean. The lady at reception helped a lot and cheerful happy sends very good energy. Free Wi-Fi. What else? Right. Totally recommend.

I arrived there at about 9 in the night, got the key of my room and paid in advance because I was planning to leave early in the morning. If I stayed longer I could use its facilities such as bbq, pool and some other facilities. It has parking areas for those who get there by car. In the room l found queen size bed, tv, microwave, coffee machine, a digital clock, towel, tea bags and many other things like extra pillows and blankets etc. It was a good place to stay.

HUGE rooms. Staff are warm, very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Avalon Gardens.

Nice motel close to everything you could need, all with in walking distance. Nice size rings for families, bathroom a little small, and the adult bed was getting close to needing replacement as we rolled into the middle all night long. Management best friendly, would stay again.

The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful, great price and great service! They were so helpful in booking us in late at night when we were stuck with a place to stay. The room was lovely and they also provide a very affordable laundry service for those longer stays! Can’t rave about it more.

Best motel we used all our trip from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast and back. Friendly owners living on site, family business, clean and with all the appliances. Highly recommend it.

Lovely place for an overnight stay. Owners were very pleasant and you can't go past The Cherry for a massive, inexpensive dinner and live band.

My first experience… greeted by a lovely lady, room spotless, air-condition works great, even nice and quiet. Great price, slept like a baby, woke up to the beautiful gardens and a bonus car park under cover. L mean what more could you ask for, highly recommended ⛱

Clean, handy and friendly. The only downfall was the tiny ensuite.

The husband and wife that own the place are very friendly, the room has everything we needed, I had 3 friends with me and the room they gave us had a queen, and 2 single beds with a roll out couch bed which was perfect for us check out time was 10 am but we asked if we could stay a bit longer and they had no problems with it, will definitely sleep there again, no other motel will do for me in this town.
