Armenia VanSevan Hotel

The place is perfect for stay. Good looking property. Good friendship with owner. He is Russian. Nice stay. I'll recommend everyone to stay here really close to Sevan peninsula. Also close to Sevan city.

The hotel is excellent. The room was given a higher category (very large with a view of the lake and mountains), as a compliment they brought a kettle of herbal tea, a bottle of mineral water and raspberry jam. It was incredibly nice. The bed is comfortable, the internet is fast. Breakfast is very hearty and tasty. The hosts are friendly and ready to help with everything! They were constantly interested in how the stay was going and helped with a taxi.
For dinner I ordered fish and a small salad, and said that I wasn’t feeling well and wouldn’t eat much at night. They said that the fish would cost 2000. I arrived an hour later: the table was bursting with food: they brought pickles, cheeses, some kind of pasta with a flavor, several salads. I asked for compote and they brought me a liter right away. I ate exclusively my fish and tomato and cucumber salad. They brought a bill for everything in the amount of 8800, despite the fact that I didn’t touch anything and didn’t ask to take it out…

The location is excellent, 7-10 minutes by taxi from the city center, you can walk in 25 minutes. Quite close to the lake itself. We are happy with the location.
The room is clean, everything you need is there (air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, Wi-Fi, disposable items, etc. ). The bed is comfortable. View from the window to the lake😍

Great hotel. We took a room with breakfast and lunch. The food was delicious — something new every day.

Upon arrival, the owner loaded us into his car, took us to the store, showed us where the beach was, where the shops were, where to go, etc.
A little far from the beach, but a taxi (if to cross the road) costs 300 drams, which is essentially a penny.

Good hotel. Very friendly service and caring hotel owner! I was with my wife and child from August 8 to 12, 2023. The cost per night was 21, 000 drams. There is a separate room for table tennis (no additional payment), there is a refrigerator. There is a beautiful fountain in front of the hotel. The hotel is on the highway, so you can quickly get to the beach in Sevan by car. I liked everything very much! Thank you!

The best trip of the year!
I am really happy and pleased with this experience in this beautiful hotel, my family and I want to say that it was the best vacation, the rooms are large and clean, the staff is always attentive, the food is varied, fresh and healthy, and the animation team He is the best I have ever seen, always punctual, attentive and fun. On our way toTatev we stayed two nights at Armenia Van Sevan. The director welcomed us warmly and offered a choice of rooms. We took one with a double bed with view on the mountains and lake. Breakfast was included and we asked an Armenian one that was delicious. We were even asked if we wanted something more.
Wi-Fi is accessible everywhere within the hotel. We also had a boiler and a fridge inside the room. On the day of departure at 7 AM we told them we wouldn't take breakfast but they proposed to bring one in the room on evening to have for the next morning.
We accepted and will keep their welcoming us as one of our best memories in Armenia.

I called in advance and spoke with the owner. At first he told me one price, then he told me another. I closed my eyes to this. During the conversation, I asked the shore close, he said of course 250 meters. On the appointed day they arrived and were horrified. The hotel is located on the outskirts, right on the highway. The room was not ready at the appointed time. I tell you where the lake shore is and how to go. The owner says, well, it’s 10 minutes across the highway or by taxi. This is complete trash. We turned around and left!

We arrived a little before noon, the owner quickly said that our room was still occupied and he was ready to offer us a suite (they say our deluxe is without air conditioning and a refrigerator, and the suite is with), but we need to pay a little extra + since he “does it better” for us, then and we would have to cancel the reservation on Booking so that he would not pay tax. NEVER DO THIS! I did, so my review is now on Google and not where it really belongs. About the surcharge: it was Sunday (banks are closed), we didn’t have cash, but you CAN’T pay by card. But euros/dollars are welcome, but at the exchange rate of the owner, not the bank. Well, what can we do, we paid in euros + a little dram. Then they sat down, spread out, and so on. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t right here, so I went to check my reservation. And voila — for our own booked room we also overpaid about 20 dollars — in our “deluxe”, both air conditioning and a refrigerator are listed on the booking. Only the reservation has already been cancelled, claims will not be accepted. There will be science for us, at least for these 20 dollars they gave us a view of the lake. We didn't argue.
About the hotel itself. I can’t say that it is very bad — the room is clean, there are large towels.

I spent a couple of nights here. The owner and staff were very nice and helped me book a taxi as well at reasonable price. Food was simple but great. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Responsive and kind staff. We cooked very tasty Sevan whitefish over coals and treated us to wine. The next day we were taken to the station for free. The room is comfortable and warm. Great hotel. Near the lake, it is beautiful and convenient to get to the ski resort.
