This place is a complete tourist trap. It was included as part of a tour, so we didn’t get to choose where we ate. The food was overpriced and forgettable at best.
The service, though, was genuinely awful, easily the worst I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. We were sat at a shared table with others from the tour and asked to see the bill so we could work out our share. The waiter took my partner’s phone (which she’d opened to the calculator), fumbled through it, got the numbers wrong, then handed it back and said, “It’s easy, you do it. ”
While she was counting her money, he reached into her bag trying to grab the cash himself. When she pulled it away, he got irritated and said he didn’t have time to wait. I told him if he’s got no time to wait then to come back later, which he technically did, but just stood nearby doing nothing, watching us. The place was almost empty, he had nothing to do other than to try to pressure us about money. Eventually he took the money, but the whole interaction was aggressive and inappropriate.
Others at the table were then overcharged for their portion of meal.
The whole experience left a bad taste. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. They don’t deserve your business.

We had a frankly terrible dinner experience here despite the staff being generally friendly, the setting lovely and the food enjoyable.
We were not given a menu, cups or cutlery at any point, had to wait 2 hours for food from arriving, and our drinks order was clearly forgotten about as we had to chase down. Staff seemed surprised when we told them we had not received our wine or water after so long. We had to chase every course of drinks and food we ordered multiple times over the night by going up to the bar when it was supposed to be table service.
The restaurant was fairly busy when we ordered so we were warned of and fully expected a delay, but it did not stay busy and staff were milling around and chatting towards the end of the night so after 2 hours of waiting and chasing this felt beyond unacceptable.
We politely requested a discount to account for the bad service and were met with hostility from staff.
It could be a lovely place if staff were more on it but unfortunately would not recommend relying on this restaurant for the bare minimum of dinner service.

The service is excellent and the food of high quality. They are young people who are willing to provide you the best anytime you ask help of them. Central location to the village. Very nice experience at the heart of the Albanian Alps.

RESTAURANT.
PROS:
— The server (Ryan or Brian) was on his first night, but did a terrific job.
— The food came out relatively quick.
— The quality and quantity of the food was quite good.
— The atmosphere was rustic, all light wood, nice lighting, and overall very pleasant.
CONS:
— The prices were a little high, but even to the other restaurants we ate at.
— The bathroom was two buildings away.
— The door from dining room to kitchen (in another building) was open often, causing cold drafts of wind to enter frequently. Bad design.
— We were told that credit cards are accepted by a man who seemed to be the manager. When we presented our card, a young woman came to our table in an… unfriendly manner, and told us they will charge us 10 euro extra! I said you should tell customers this policy when they ask about using credit cards, but she got more negative, telling us why (which made NO sense) we were being charged 10 euro (more than 25% of the bill). We paid with cash, and left with a VERY BAD experience to end our meal.

The filet of goat was horrendous. Fatty fatty and tough. Not edible.
Also had the chicken fillets and they were also tough and dry. Terrible.
The hotel manager didn’t even ask how it was or if they could get us something else. Didn’t even bother. All the meat was left.
Stay away.

The restaurant lacked any real decor or atmosphere, it clearly exists just to funnel tourists through. Prices were high for what was offered, and the food was very underwhelming.
Do not order the chicken. It cost 850 lek for just two dry pieces with a sauce that wasn’t even good. The other items weren’t any better — the potatoes were undercooked, and the so-called “meatballs” were tiny and unimpressive.
Service was equally disappointing and even inappropriate. I asked to see the bill since I was sharing a table with other people from the tour and needed to calculate my portion. The server took my phone, which I had opened to the calculator, tried to figure it out himself, got it wrong, then handed the phone back to me saying, “It’s easy, you do it. ”
While I was counting my money to pay, he reached into my purse to try to grab the cash himself. I was shocked and immediately pulled my purse away. He got visibly annoyed and said he didn’t have time to wait for me to count my money. My partner told him to leave and come back then, so he stepped away from our table but lingered nearby doing nothing. He eventually returned and took the money.
Others at my table told me he also overcharged them, taking more than what was actually due.
Overall very disappointed and would not recommend. Be careful if you are taken here on a tour do not eat here.

A gem of a place with one of the best hospitality experience. The service was top notch. The property managing two brothers were always ready to help us. Their food quality was also excellent.

What a beautiful place to stay! Definitely recommended if you want to do the Valbona Pass hike. We had a very cozy feeling at this place. And the food is great! Outstanding service from Sokol (hope this is how you write your name :) thank you so much. Give Oddie a hug from us!

I recently stayed at the Royal Deluxe Suite of this hotel, and I was deeply disappointed with the experience. To start, the room was dusty and the sheets had crumbs and mold on them, which was unacceptable. The bidet didn't work, and there was no remote for the AC, which made the room uncomfortably warm. The soap dispenser was broken, and the only roll of toilet paper was nearly used up. The absence of a fridge and TV in the suite was a huge letdown, especially given the high price. Breakfast was lacking, with a meager selection that didn’t reflect the size of our group. Additionally, market prices were exorbitant—9 euros for a 6-pack of water is outrageous. The food was average at best, with no local options, only supermarket honey and margarine. Overall, this hotel was far from worth the cost.

Beautiful location and camping site. The lodge was so comfortable and clean with air conditioning, tv, strong Wi-Fi, and jacuzzi tub. The views of the mountains were incredible, with a little river nearby. My husband and I had an amazing experience and would go again!

We had a wonderful, warm welcome to this place. The location and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. From here, you can do any nearby hike, including blue eye. The food here is great. Don't expect great Wi-Fi here, and in our room, the extractor was quite loud.

We went camping with our tents, 10 euro per tent with shower and toilet included. Was a bit noisy till 23.30 but quiet at night. Didn't try the food. The toilets and showers could use some fixing up but are usable. Very close to the bathing site.

This is such a wonderful place. Great location, great management and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend it.
A big shutout to their management who helped us with food to go, transportation to another city.

Very close to nature. Welcoming atmosphere. Good traditional food. Rooms suit the price, ans they have lots of different ones. They offer free parking too.
Enjoyed my stay there with my family.
Would go back when I visit Theth again in the future. Recommended.
