Bujtina Harusha

Just average, nothing horrible to say about it but definitely better places to stay for a similar price. I give it some grace given the location. Room was nice and a decent size. Bathroom was fine but water from the shower head went everywhere. The guy at the check-in was nice, but other staff were unwelcoming. Very nice view and the outdoor seating area was pretty. Breakfast was decent but coffee was not great.

We came a big group, and therefore I saw multiple rooms — the standard varies wildly, from luxurious to somewhat dingy — so it's a lottery what you get. I was lucky to stay in the nicest room (no 9) with an excellent bed and beautiful bathroom.

Mixed feelings about this place. The people are not really welcoming or friendly. They look annoyed if you want to ask them something. Also a lot of local people are there being very loud. We booked two nights. The first room wasn’t nice. Very noisy and there was a specific smell. But after asking twice, they moved us to a better room upstairs which was a lot better. In the end, wouldn’t go back a second time.

The rooms were very nice, spotless, and newly renovated. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond by preparing a special surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday, for which we are truly grateful. A huge thank you to the team! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Theth without a single thing to complain about.

The room we got was in terrible condition and primitive. Looked nothing like pictures. Cracked toilet, cracked shower. The worst part though, was the noise. No isolation between the floors (our ceiling planks was their floor) meant that it felt like the people upstairs were in our room! When they dropped their backpacks on their floor we thought the whole house was finally collapsing. Staff was pleasant and the family walking around, as well as cows, was enjoyable. The rural mountain atmosphere was spoiled quite a bit because of the zipline Tower blasting terrible pop music all day. Only come here if you really love to hike.

Amazing people, delicious food, and true Albanian hospitality!
We were welcomed with such kindness by the staff—so friendly and respectful, they made us feel at home right away. The owner of Bujtina Harusha is truly amazing—so warm, caring, and passionate about what they do. You can feel the love in every detail. And the food… absolutely delicious! Full of traditional Albanian flavor, fresh and homemade. One of the best experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Spent two nights in Theth.
We got a new room at the Check-In because the original room had mildew.
The room itself was not too bad, everything was clean.
One thing I gotta point to is the noise from the other guests which woke us up at 7 am twice.
Overall a good place to stay, maybe there would‘ve better places in this area.

Amazing time at Bujtina Harusha. We stayed in a tent there for 3 nights, very friendly and welcoming family-owned guesthouse. We bought a lunch-pack for 5€ with a sandwich, some fruit and boiled eggs. We asked for local food at their restaurant for dinner and it was great, paid around 40€ for 2 including drinks and a local dessert.
Would really recommend a stay here. As we didn’t stay in a room, I wouldn’t know how they look like, but can recommend staying there in a tent. We paid 5€ for each night.
Had access to showers with hot water, clean toilets, running drinkable water and just a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Highly recommended this place.

Service of the whole team is to be appraised.

We stopped off for lunch. The staff were chatty and engaging and the food was great. We had a salad, some cheese and peppers cooked in cheese.

Stayed for 2nights and did not do any booking previously, stoped by and luckily got the room.
The rooms are very nice, new and simple. There I missing some small shelfs in the bathroom and hanger.
In some way the room is not practical, if you want to turn of the light the button is behind the wooden wall, also missing some small things in high tech era would be better to have more sockets for charging, glasses, lamps next to the bed. The wooden surface makes the room cozy.
I did not like the chimney behind the building, all the smoke went inside, I could smell it also when I closed the windows — so the window is useless because there is no possiblity to have fresh air (maybe in the period when you are not there). View I had kind a half view, but that was not importat for me.
I am just thinking, what would be the room if I would booked before.
As I came from the Montenegro side, here I had strange feelings. I felt not welcome as a solo woman traveler and the eyes following me everywhere made me uncomfy — That is about surranding area or service.
Food was fine, but the dinner was bit boring, second day I had a feeling they serve food from day before. The variety is not so huge and when you come bad time you will not get something.
I also have to meantion, I am vegetarian, so probably they are not used to serve something like that.

We stayed for a few nights and extended for another because it‘s so beautiful up there. The rooms are very clean, the team is super professionell and the views are amazing.
For dinner it‘s always a fixed menu, you gotts tell them if you‘re vegetarian or not beforehand.
We had a great time there and could really relax.

After experiencing some booking misunderstandings with the guesthouse I was supposed to be staying at, there was no problem at all for me to stay here for two nights. And from the moment I entered the property, I knew that was a good decision. Everyone is so friendly and kind and helpful! Also, the beds are amazing: I slept like a baby. The hikes I got suggested were great, and all the other things I saw and did were very memorable :). So thank you for letting me stay here. If I ever go back I want to go camping at your place!

Room provided is good with the view and well equipped with bathroom. I really like the shower especially after hiking from Valbona.
The man at the reception is nice and friendly. He said in Nov at night it might be cold so he would like to offer a new room that near the heater system :)
Location is great! It’s in the center. Walkable to nearby restaurants and cafes. Church is not far.

Had the best experience, after finding us a last minute room the hosts were kind and helpfull. Their hospitality is on top. Had a great time and the rooms where warm and tidy.

Great accommodation, stayed for 2 nights. Very centrally located right in the middle of theth. The host was very nice and helpful and went out of his way for us to enjoy our stay. Nice clean rooms, and showers. The breakfast was decent and is included in the price. They also offer dinner for 15 euros, which is definitely worth it. The dinner was very good, classic Albanian food with multiple courses.
