Kulla Pracja Theth

The place is beautiful and the views are stunning! Service is pretty good!
However if you don’t have a car you have to walk around 18 minutes from the market to get to the hotel and a cab costs around 10 euros for 5min of driving’s! They said us that there is a bridge (which is handmade) to get by feet but it’s really dangerous to cross it (some photos here).
The rooms are comfortable but cold and take a shower it’s quite difficult the water spreads all over the place.

I would not recommend staying here if you are a solo female traveller… the guesthouse manager made me feel uncomfortable, asking why I was travelling on my own, and showing me to a room that was across from his, where I would have shared a bathroom with him. He then accused me of stealing the key to the room at the end of me stay. Disappointing given that everything else about the property was lovely.

Stunning views, the best place to stay in Theth. Super friendly service and a very good included traditional breakfast. Its quiet and easy going while also close enough to the hikes to valbona (20min to the start) and the nearby waterfall (1h). If you take a little trip, even the blue eye lagoon. The beds and rooms are also realy nice. The shower and toilet could be a bit mote spacious though. All in all, good place as a base of operations to hike and do outdoor activities.

However, unprofessional staff who lack boundaries. I also went for a shower and due to the drain being blocked with hair the water came out into the room causing flooding. Staff cleaned out the nasty lump of hair that were stuck causing the blockage — which should have been done prior to our visit. This caused leaking into the room below which some of us from the group were staying. Luckily, staff moved us to an alternative location which was more suitable. But I was disappointed that they had complained about us to the agency we booked this place. Drain blockage which caused flooding was not my fault.
Temperature control of the water was also an issue nearly causing a friend to burn. Her back was red due to this. Staff were alerted but nothing was done to solve this.
Over charged us to drive 15 minutes away to begin a hike which is ridiculous.

This accommodation is located amongst the beautiful alps in Theth. The scene was beautiful and relaxing, and I enjoyed the delicious dinner that my group and I had the night we stayed. Unfortunately, there were a few things that dampened what should have been a stress-free break. Upon entering my room, there was a creature that looked like a slug next to my bed. Later in the evening, my friend took a shower in my room which led to water coming through under the door as there is no proper shower basin. What also happened because of this, is the room downstairs which more friends were staying in, got flooded, so they had to move rooms. I was told the host later unclogged hair from the drains, so the bathroom was not maintained properly. The temperature controls on the shower were dodgy, and resulted in another friend almost scalding her skin whilst showering. The place was pretty, but very cold at night. I also do not believe the hosts were entirely professional in their approach towards us, and there was more than one instance where inappropriate comments were made. I must reiterate, certain members of staff need to keep their boundaries in check.

Alex was a super nice host and they are also very helpful and listens on the customers wishes. Very good breakfast also. Totally recommed this guesthouse for all.

Overall amazing stay here, starting with the cute small room and it’s outstanding view from the window can’t be beaten. Breakfast was included and full plate. Great money value for the location and accommodation! We felt kindness and good energy from this place. Wish them the best ❤️
